Death Wizard Diary.

Chapter 280 This is Death

Chapter 280 This is Death

"No...no limit..." Kismet said as if in a trance, "Those aren't real pages."

"Is that so?" Thor smiled. "That's great! I was very cautious using it before because I wasn't sure about that."

Kismet stared blankly at Thor, unconsciously uttering, "The Wizard Tower... is it that dangerous?"

Before Thor could answer, Kismet suddenly pushed off the ground with both feet, retreating three meters.

"boom--"

The next second, a silver, broadsword was almost touching the tip of his nose when it plunged into the ground beneath his feet.

"It's you again, you silver-haired bastard! Don't run away, give me a good fight!"

What followed was Kira's imposing figure and his anything but ladylike remarks.

Kismet, holding her harp, smiled as she looked at Kira, the goddess of war, who had forcefully placed herself in front of her and Thor.

"Fighting is so inelegant. How about this, Miss Kira, let me play you a tune?"

The only response he received was Kira drawing his greatsword from the ground and brandishing it once more at Kismet.

As Kira drew his sword to slash forward, Kismet suddenly retreated. Without wasting a moment, Kira swung his greatsword around the empty space and attacked again.

But Kismet never fought back, he just kept retreating.

As the two fought and fled until their figures almost disappeared into the horizon, Thor could barely see where they had run to.

At that moment, a huge burst of light suddenly erupted in the distance, causing him to close his eyes and turn his head to the side.

Even so, the light still made Thor's vision go black for a moment.

"A very powerful light-attribute spell, but it doesn't seem very offensive." When Thor recovered, he realized that Kismet and Kira were no longer visible in the distance.

I wonder where they've gone off to fight this time.

He was suddenly and inexplicably out of the picture.

Thor turned his head and looked at the old madman who was still lying unconscious on the ground in the distance, and suddenly sighed.

In any case, the old madman will probably have to stay mad forever.

Perhaps in his memory, his sister is still on his back, fleeing with him to a distant place.

Thor cast a spell with his hand, palm up, and cradled the unconscious old madman in his hands.

And so, two figures, one horizontal and one vertical, appeared on the desert, heading towards the blood-red town of Mofan.

Thor walked along, glancing back at the Death Wizard's Diary.

As he gazed at it, the diary flew from his left shoulder to his front.

Since the last time the consciousness platform was set up, the diary seems to have become more obedient.

Now, with only Thor and an ordinary person around, he recalled his conversation with Kismet and felt a surge of desire.

"Access to the past? If I understand correctly, Kismet wants me to use the 'observation of the past' ability on the diary, which will affect my connection with the diary."

The diary did not refute Saul's idea.

This further boosted his confidence.

Although Kismet's motives were unclear, Saul judged that most of what he said was credible.

Especially the diary. If Saul can understand the past of the diary, does that mean he can unlock more information about the diary and strengthen the connection between the two?

Thor raised his left hand, and a silver light began to condense in his palm. The light gradually solidified and finally turned into a silver mirror.

He looked at himself in the mirror and didn't notice any change in his eyes.

But when he channeled his spiritual energy into his eyes, a cool breeze emanated from his pupils, and he saw a silver glint suddenly appear in his eyes.

Unlike Penny's eyes, which shone like the Milky Way, the glimmer in Thor's dark pupils was like the North Star in the night—small but extremely striking.

Having made his decision, Thor wasted no more time and immediately turned to look at his diary.

But as soon as his gaze fell on the diary, he felt a "boom," as if something had exploded in his mind.

A sharp, piercing pain caused his legs to buckle, and he nearly collapsed to his knees.

But when he was about to give up and had to stop using his mental energy, the pain suddenly disappeared.

Then, the world alternated between light and dark, the surrounding climate and environment changed constantly, and time moved forward or backward at an extremely fast pace.

Grasses sprouted in the desert, springs flowed in, and it became a dense forest; then the forest withered and died, the water level dropped, and it finally returned to the parched earth.

Just as Thor was becoming increasingly lost in the cycle of time, the world before him changed once again.

He seemed to have suddenly changed perspectives and forms, transforming from a single person into an unknown entity.

But in front of him was still the Death Wizard's Diary, only now it was extremely close to him. It was as if a severely nearsighted person without glasses could only see the words by getting to within ten centimeters of the paper.

At that moment, a beautiful silver quill suddenly landed beside his face, and he could vaguely see the pen being loosely held by a hand.

With a firm press of the finger, the quill pen tip wrote lines of text on the diary.

Saul didn't recognize a single word that appeared in the diary, but as soon as the first word appeared, he noticed that the image in front of the diary had changed.

At first, a few small birds that had built their nests in the woods suddenly fell to the ground from between the branches.

Then came a deer strolling through the woods, which suddenly buckled at the knees and collapsed to its knees, then fell to its side, staring blankly into the air.

Another line of text fell.

Thor saw the once bustling town suddenly fall silent. People walking on the streets, cooking at home, and working in shops were all lying on the ground.

Their eyes were still open, staring in the direction they had looked when they fell to the ground, the expressions from a second ago still lingering on their faces.

Whether it was joy, sorrow, or indifference before, it has now become a memorial portrait.

The quill pen didn't stop; it continued writing.

The perspective shifts again, revealing mountains collapsing and floods raging. One moment the land is barren and desolate, the next, everything is frozen solid. Finally, the continent splits apart, leaving behind a landscape littered with corpses.

The diary, told from Saul's perspective, suddenly soared into the sky.

He saw the world fall silent.

Whether living or inanimate, all eventually return to silence.

The light is gradually disappearing, and the darkness is no longer there.

Thor was mesmerized and couldn't help but ask, "What is this?"

Suddenly, a flat, monotone voice rang out from within.

"This is death."

Thor shuddered and then staggered to the ground.

"Bang! Bang!"

The first sound was that he didn't even have time to react before he fell to the ground. Fortunately, Thor's skin had been modified to be very tough, so he wouldn't get injured.

The second sound was that he could no longer maintain the output of magic; the Mage's Hand disappeared, and the old madman who was floating in mid-air also fell to the ground.

Thor hadn't fully recovered yet, so he simply rolled over and lay on the ground in a comfortable position for a while longer.

As for the old madman, he must have gotten used to sleeping on the ground.

"I just witnessed the death of a world. Could that be the past witnessed by the diary?"

However, the thought of the silver quill pen striking the paper first, followed by the world's death, filled him with a sense of dread.

It seems that the death of the world was caused by the diary.

"Could the diary really be that powerful? If it truly possessed such terrifying power, how could its owner have only reached the fourth rank?"

"By the way, this information was Ralph's speculation, so he was probably misled by Kismet."

"What exactly is a diary, and why did it choose me as its owner?"

As Thor thought of this, he subconsciously looked at his left shoulder.

In an instant, he scrambled to his feet, and a look of panic finally appeared on his face.

"Where's my diary?!"
