Chapter 221 Haywood and Heidi

Heywood's expression changed slightly. "Let's talk about this back in the warehouse."

Saul desperately wanted to return to the warehouse; tonight's painful experience made him yearn for the security of his soul remaining in his body.

As expected, just as the tower master said, astral projection was not a good thing for him.

But won't there be other unexpected problems if I go with Haywood?

The diary did not appear.

"Hey Diary, are you broken?" Thor communicated with the diary in his mind.

The diary was turned over, so that the book was facing Saul.

The other person smiled, "When you came out of Professor Katz's lab."

Knowing he couldn't hide it from Saul, he decided to tell the truth: "The servant named George's soul has undergone a mutation. If it weren't for your protection, I believe he would be on some apprentice's lab table tomorrow."

Saul frowned slightly, knowing that he could protect George for a while, but not forever.

Moreover, he didn't intend to protect the other party for life.

Thor intervened this time for two reasons: firstly, he remembered that George could help him in the past; and secondly, George's appearance reminded Thor of his past, and the stimulation of those old memories helped stabilize his consciousness.

So he gave George a chance to become a wizard's apprentice.

Heywood paused, not knowing why, but looking at Thor with such a smiling face made him even more wary than when Thor had a gloomy expression.

Subsequently, under Haywood's protection, Thor returned to the first floor of the East Tower.

Upon arriving at the bronze gate, without Thor needing to explain, Haywood stepped forward and pushed it open.

"Now, senior," Thor said with a smile, now back in his body and much more composed, "can you tell me how you discovered my soul left my body? After all, I need to report on that bizarre experience last night."

Heywood suddenly sighed, "This matter... does indeed involve me."

He suddenly pulled down his hood and turned to show Saul the back of his head.

Heywood's head used to have an ugly witch's face, but now only bare, scarred skin remained.

"I haven't had a chance to introduce you to her before," Haywood turned around again, casually pulling up his hood. "That woman's name is Heidi, and she's a curse I made using my twin sister."

Thor blinked.

Twin sister?

"My parents were both third-level wizarding apprentices," Haywood said, introducing himself as well. "They both underwent a lot of physical modifications that greatly impacted them, but were not suitable for them. Therefore, after advancing to the third level, they had almost no chance of becoming full-fledged wizards."

Heywood casually added a piece of advice to Thor: "So I don't recommend you modify your vital organs before you become a full-fledged wizard."

Upon hearing this suggestion, Saul suddenly thought of Kongsa.

Heywood remained calm when he spoke of his mother's death and his sister's strange behavior.

Thor listened expressionlessly, not at all surprised by what happened next; there wasn't a single normal wizard.

Seeing this, Haywood smiled slightly and continued, "Fortunately, my father never stopped my sister and me from going out before, so quite a few people knew about our situation. When I was six years old, the Tower Master came to our door, wanting to take me in."

"My father initially disagreed, but later he acquiesced."

Thor chuckled. Could it be the kind of tacit approval that comes with the dead not being able to speak?

Haywood finally got to the main topic of last night, "but I never expected that she would be so foolish as to think that once you die, that silver eye will be hers."

The second warehouse where Thor is located is not a place that just anyone can enter; it is a crucial location in the Wizard Tower where important materials are stored!

"Including the basement, the Gorsa Wizard Tower has 22 floors. But that's for ordinary people, or rather, ordinary wizard apprentices. In fact, the wizard tower also has a mezzanine."
