Death Wizard Diary.

Chapter 205, Rank 2

Chapter 205 Second Tier

Saul dreamed that he had fallen into the sea and could only struggle desperately with his clumsy doggy paddle.

Despite being exhausted and numb, he never considered giving up.

But the seawater was icy cold, and wave after wave pulled him under the surface, the pain of suffocation spreading from his lungs to his whole body.

"We can't sink!" That was the only thought in Thor's mind. "I have to survive!"

The more he felt threatened by death, the more determined he became to live.

Just as Thor was battling the waves, a golden page suddenly appeared before him and floated quietly in the wind and waves.

"Pages?" Thor looked over in surprise.

Although he had never seen the golden pages, he subconsciously felt that the pages were a good thing because he possessed the Death Wizard's Diary.

It is his lifeline now.

Thor once again braved the giant waves, paddling hard and desperately trying to get closer to the pages of the book.

Finally, with the help of a wave rising and falling, his fingers touched the edge of the book.

Although the pages were gold, they didn't have the cold hardness of metal; they felt very soft to the touch.

However, when Thor tried to prop himself up, he touched the soft yet incredibly solid pages that held his strength.

Using his arms to support himself, Thor moved himself onto the pages of the book, finally escaping the dangerous, icy seawater.

He collapsed onto the pages of the book, utterly exhausted. "Where am I now? I can't sense any magic. Could it be that I've been transported to another world?"

Thor spread his mental energy to probe his surroundings.

From the feedback of his mental energy, everything here was blurry, and even the golden pages did not appear in his mental perception.

"It doesn't feel like time travel, it feels more like a dream." He calmed down.

Thor looked around at the boundless, deep blue, almost inky sea and the pale sky above without a single cloud, and felt a little melancholy.

"How can I get back to the real world?" Just as Thor thought of this, he suddenly felt a tremor beneath him.

He quickly lowered his center of gravity and gripped the edge of the gold pages.

The next moment, the golden pages suddenly began to rise, like an elevator that didn't care about the safety of its passengers, flying towards the sun overhead at an extremely high speed!

As the golden pages flew, the sun, Lisol, drew ever closer overhead.

Thor looked up and thought the sun looked very strange.

It doesn't look like the sun; it looks more like... an exit?

The brightness suddenly increased, and Thor instinctively closed his eyes.

When he woke up again, he opened his eyes and saw that he was being carried away.

The person carrying him had a small mushroom growing on their head. The mushroom looked a little wilted and swayed back and forth.

It was the coachman who stayed outside to wait for him.

Just then, a black tentacle reached out in front of them.

The tip of the tentacle split open into a shark-like mouth, and a tongue of the same color stuck out and licked Thor's face.

It's icy cold.

"Little Algae?" Thor reached out and pinched Little Algae's mouth, watching it wobble innocently in his palm before releasing it after a few seconds. "How did I get back?"

The man carrying Thor on his back finally realized he was awake.

"Young Master."

The man with mushrooms growing on his head is Thor's coachman.

Saul patted the coachman on the shoulder, telling him to put him down.

"You saved me?" Thor asked in disbelief.

The coachman shook his head repeatedly, "I just saw the manor had collapsed, so I came to come and take a look. I happened to see you lying on the ground, and I was afraid you were in danger, so I carried you away from the manor."

Thor jumped to the ground, looked at his body, and found nothing unusual.

He turned around again and confirmed that the coachman had carried him outside the manor.

The enormous castle behind them had turned into ruins, and the overwhelming soul storm had vanished without a trace.

"Did the diary save me? The size of that golden page is about the same as the pages inside the diary. What's the connection between them?" Thor looked at his left shoulder in confusion, where the diary was still quietly floating.

Between the closed pages, Thor vaguely saw a glimpse of gold.

Just as he was about to examine it closely, he suddenly noticed a gaze fixed on him.

He immediately turned his head to look in the direction of Ralph Manor and saw a familiar figure at the gate.

It's Victor!

"He is still alive." Thor was not surprised at all.

Having just experienced the baptism of the mysterious soul storm, Thor was even more wary of him.

Victor stood beneath the only remaining intact gate of Ralph Manor, staring intently at Thor, the harp that had been in his hand nowhere to be seen.

Then he strode forward, quickened his pace, and walked toward Thor.

"Run!" This guy was acting mysteriously, and Thor didn't want to confront him anymore. He called the coachman, turned around, and ran.

But the footsteps behind him grew closer and closer, the "tap tap tap tap" sound seeming to pound on Thor's heart.

"This Victor is probably also involved in the soul storm just now."

"Next time, I'll have to carry two trump cards with me," Thor said through gritted teeth.

The diary still offered no clues, but Saul didn't know if the diary was broken or if he was truly out of danger.

Just as the two were about to reach the fence at the end of the road, a reflection suddenly dazzled Thor's eyes.

The next second, accompanied by the sound of something cutting through the air, a giant sword more than ten meters long suddenly plunged into the back of Thor and the coachman!

The earth was split open, and the uninhabited houses across the way began to collapse after a tremor.

The violent tremor sent both Thor and the coachman flying.

As soon as Thor landed, he immediately rolled over and got up.

He first looked at Victor.

The other party also looked somewhat disheveled, with the greatsword, which was three meters away from Thor, only a few centimeters away from him.

It was clearly aimed at him.

But Victor didn't immediately focus on the owner of the greatsword; instead, he glanced at Thor.

His gaze held a scrutinizing quality, as if he were confirming something.

But the next second, Victor retreated again.

Another greatsword of the same length landed where Victor had been.

This time the blade was driven in even deeper, with two-thirds of it buried in the ground.

Immediately following was the cry of an eagle.

A giant bird swooped down, then suddenly rose again just before hitting the ground.

But before the giant bird took flight again, a tall, slender figure jumped off its back.

It was a woman with short, neat blond hair.

As soon as she landed, she placed her hands on the two giant swords stuck in the ground.

The once gleaming giant sword instantly turned into a mercury-like liquid, reshaped, returned to the woman's hands, and after cooling again, became two three-meter-long greatswords.

The greatsword was still heavy, exceeding the length that a normal warrior could easily handle, but the woman wielded it with ease, as if she were wielding two toys.

Saul recognized the other person.

This woman is none other than Kira, the most powerful sorcerer in the Kema Empire right now!

Thor initially thought she looked familiar, but after a while he realized that she was Kira, a second-tier wizard who had visited the Wizard Tower two years ago.

This wizard, who dared to speak so bluntly even to the tower master, left a deep impression on Thor.

When I saw her again two years later, she seemed to have an even stronger presence than before.

Kira didn't look at Thor; she simply held her twin swords horizontally in front of her, the tips pointing at Victor, ready to attack at any moment.

She looks more like a warrior than a wizard.

At this moment, Victor had just retreated to a distance of three meters.

When Kira held the sword tip horizontally, the tip nearly grazed his face.

So he raised his eyebrows and took two steps back.

This retreat seems to be a concession to Kira.

If it were Thor, he wouldn't attack rashly when facing an enemy whose strength is unknown.

But Kira is clearly not the same kind of person as Thor.

Seeing that the other party retreated, she showed no intention of sheathing her sword.

His body radiated killing intent as he sternly declared, "A second-tier wizard entering another second-tier wizard's territory without permission can be considered a signal to start a war."

Kira, the Battle Maniac Wizard!
