Death Wizard Diary.

Chapter 111, Level 2!

Chapter 111, Level Two!

boom--

It was as if a huge building had been built in Thor's spiritual body, causing the entire spiritual world to tremble!

Tier 1 spell, Soul Worm, successfully constructed.

Thor slowly stood up, feeling the difference between being a first-level apprentice and a second-level apprentice...

But it doesn't seem to be any different.

The mentor said that the difference between first-level and second-level apprentices lies only in the intensity of their mastery of witchcraft; there is no qualitative change in their physical and mental essence.

But upon closer inspection, Thor truly sensed something different.

That was the effect of the first-order sorcery within his spiritual body.

This soul-devouring worm, whose future form is unknown, continues to influence Thor's magic and spirit.

The effect was still very slight, but Thor could sense that as he continued to solidify and strengthen this sorcery, the effect would deepen.

As this influence deepens, Saul will have to find ways to resist it, or he will suffer both mental and physical problems.

However, the truly effective method is to find one's own locator to eliminate and resist the irresistible pollution brought about by witchcraft and stabilize the mind.

"The locator." Thor looked at his left shoulder, thinking, "How can I convince the diary to move?"

The locator issue can wait. Thor stood up and turned around to find that Penny had already fallen asleep.

He shook Penny awake, both amused and exasperated. "Penny, wake up."

But Saul also realized that Penny wasn't really that carefree to fall asleep there.

Rather, it was his recent battle with Shelly and his subsequent struggle against the vengeful spirits that had affected Penny.

For ordinary people who are mentally exhausted, sleep is the best protection.

Penny groggily raised her head, revealing a pair of hazy, gray eyes.

Saul helped Penny up. "I'll see you out, but you should be prepared that after you leave here, you and Ada may not be able to stay in this town."

Penny stood up with the help of Thor, and her face remained relatively calm as she thought about leaving her safe and sound home.

"I will leave with Ada."

She seems more like Ada's older sister.

Thor did one last search of Shirley's belongings, taking the valuables and leaving the worthless ones behind.

But he never found the book that could artificially create vengeful spirits.

In the end, he could only make a copy of all the magic circles on the ground and restore the places he had destroyed according to his memory.

Only then did he take Penny away from the room on the third floor of the tower.

Just as Thor reached the top of the spiral staircase, he heard wails, cries, and sounds of killing coming from outside the tower.

problem occurs!

Saul put his arm around Penny and they slid down to the bottom.

The entrance to the tower had been sealed by Xie using witchcraft; he clearly didn't want anyone to disturb his spellcasting.

So much so that when trouble comes from outside, no one can call upon him as their powerful backer.

Saul made Penny stand against the wall, then suddenly opened the door.

Outside the door was already a living hell.

The ground was littered with the corpses of the townspeople of Mofan, and savages were running and killing the living everywhere.

The walls of the fruit orchard diagonally opposite had all been demolished, leaving the area in a mess. Occasionally, one could see people's hands and feet resting on the stones, their fate unknown.

Meanwhile, the real battlefield had moved to the town walls on the other side.

The barbarians tried to climb over the wall, which wasn't too high for them, while the soldiers did their best to knock the barbarians down once they reached the top.

While Thor was observing the situation outside, two barbarians spotted him.

The barbarians opposite him paid no heed to Thor's shock; they immediately raised their swords and slashed at him.

The sharp weapons whistled through the air, slashing at Thor from the left and right.

The barbarian's large mouth exhaled white breath excitedly, as if he could already see Thor being torn into pieces.

However, before their longswords fell, one of the barbarians suddenly twisted his body, his hands and feet were twisted together, as if he were being tightly gripped by a hand.

The soft flesh surrendered first, twisting and snapping under the invisible force.

The barbarian's hard skeleton remained stubborn, until it was finally snapped open, piercing through the skin and revealing blackish-red bone spurs.

The other person also had to stop his attack.

A plume of black smoke billowed from the barbarian's seven orifices, and then patches of charred marks began to appear on the barbarian's exposed skin.

Finally, red tongues of fire emerged from the skin, protruded from the ears, curled around the eyeballs, and scorched the hair...

If the first barbarian died relatively quickly, it was only his appearance that was terrifying.

The second person will have to endure the pain for a much longer time.

He howled and ran back the way he came with his last bit of strength, but after only a few more steps, his carbonized legs could no longer support his massive body, and he collapsed to the ground with a thud, raising a cloud of blackish-gray dust.

Thor looked in the direction the barbarian had fled and came face to face with a thin barbarian.

The barbarian, his face covered in some unknown paint, was riding on the back of another tall barbarian.

This group of barbarians even has a priest?

That would no longer be a small-scale intrusion.

But the wizard apprentice in this place just died because he couldn't think straight.

Thor walked toward the priest and raised his hand.

The spiritual body began to become active, and the first-order sorcery model engraved within it was instantly awakened, ready to be activated at any time.

Transparent, ghostly figures of soul worms appeared in Thor's palm and began to slowly wriggle around his hand.

Upon seeing this, the barbarian priest narrowed his eyes and said, word by word, "New, a wizard's apprentice."

He had never seen Thor before, but recognized him as not being from Sailtown.

The priest stared intently at Thor, seemingly considering whether or not to confront him.

He suddenly opened his mouth wide and forcefully broke off two teeth with his hands.

Two streams of blood flowed from the corners of his mouth, and he summoned the two barbarians closest to him.

"Eat it, block it, wizard."

The two barbarians obediently took the priest's teeth and swallowed them.

After eating the priest's teeth, the two barbarians suddenly roared in pain, pounding their chests with their hands.

Their skin quickly turned from dark to blood red, with an abnormal sheen, as if it would explode if poked.

But their expressions grew increasingly excited, and one of them ran toward Thor, waving his fist.

The barbarian priest did not stay where he was waiting. He raised his wooden staff and struck the barbarian beneath him hard on the head.

"Attack! Sharpen the sails!"

Except for the two red barbarians who ran towards Thor, everyone else dropped their prey and followed their priests toward the already crumbling walls of Sailtown.

Thor glanced towards Sailtown and spotted two familiar faces in a nearby house.

It was Ada and Jayce!

Instead of fleeing back to town, they hid in an empty house, risking their lives to wait for the right opportunity to rescue Penny.

They were staring at Thor in disbelief, completely unaware that they had been exposed.

Fortunately, the other barbarians had been summoned to the town, which saved them from disaster.

At this moment, the two red barbarians were almost upon Thor.

Thor gave a mocking smile. "Compared to Jayce, I'm truly despicable."

As soon as he raised his hand, the two red barbarians immediately slipped and fell to the ground, one after the other.

They were still struggling to get up, grabbing large chunks of ground. But because the ground was greasy, their hands and feet sank into the soil as they tried to regain their balance.

Thor then unleashed a scorching breath.

Flames immediately erupted from the two barbarians, and a wave of heat rushed towards us.

But Thor soon noticed that although the two barbarians were screaming and burning, they did not fall in the flames, and their skin was slightly charred.

"Did the priest's teeth enhance their magic resistance?"

Thor suddenly flung his hand, and two soul worms flew onto the red-skinned barbarian.

"Then let me see the power of this... variant level 1 sorcery."

Work is back on track, so I'll only be updating twice a week for now. Sorry.
