Chapter 1018 A Sixth-Order Existence

The anchor in his hand has no fate line, a fact Thor realized after he fully became the fate line.

However, after Thor entered the fourth tier, the anchor point in his hand was no longer a truly unresponsive wreckage.

He saw a connection to Camus in this anchor point.

Thor is now trying to use this small connection to find Camus's location in the Abyss.

Connect two points with the same attribute, and then jump out of the original world.

Thor closed his eyes, and the threads of fate spread out in all directions. Soon, he found a similar anchor point in the air, or rather, in another dimension.

"No wonder it's called an anchor point; its location in space is very clear."

If this is the inner world of the Eye of the Abyss, one can imagine how severe the damage the Eye of the Abyss suffered when it died.

"But where have all the skeletons gone? Could they all be concentrated where the crevice used to be?"

Thor continued to rise, unable to believe that Camus hadn't noticed anything amiss even after he'd come all this way.

Finally, just as Thor felt he was about to ascend to atmospheric level, a blur appeared before his eyes, and suddenly a humanoid skeleton came into view.

"How did you get in?" Camus's voice echoed in Thor's mind.

Strangely, even though Camus was right in front of him, Thor still felt that Camus's consciousness was in the ground beneath his feet.

"I came in because someone asked me to pass on a message to you."

Camus stared at Thor with his empty, wide eyes, "Since you refuse to cooperate, then we have nothing more to say."

"Did someone else approach you for a collaboration, so you abandoned me?" Thor said with a smile.

Not everyone is as ungrateful as you.

Thor leaned closer. "Was that sensible person named Douglas? A fifth-tier wizard?"

Camus did not answer Saul's question.

Upon getting closer, Thor did not find the same mental signal on Camus as the anchor in his hand.

Therefore, the Camus in front of us, just like Thor's current body, is nothing more than a puppet incarnation.

The other party is very likely not Camus at all, but a mysterious consciousness that is communicating with him in Camus's name.

"You're so protective of the Eye of the Abyss, you can't be the wizard Camus, right? After all, the wizard Camus died at sea while fighting the Black Tide. So you were pretending from the beginning after receiving the wizard Camus's memories, right?"

"I don't care what you think. Anyway, the abyss is about to awaken, and the whole world will become its meal." Camus raised his chin, his voice full of disdain.

However, all Thor had to do was to make Camus waver.

"I captured several anchor monsters that appeared in the Wizarding World. Strangely, when they were imprisoned in a space, they automatically merged into one and emitted mental fluctuations very similar to yours. That spirit conveyed a message to me, saying that it did not want to be resurrected and asked me to stop Camus."

"Now that I think about it, he didn't ask me to stop a wizard named Camus, but you. It's just that through the transmission of consciousness and spirit, your pronoun was converted into the vocabulary I could understand most quickly. That's why you're called Camus. But you are not Camus!"

"What's the point of you being so eager to prove that I'm not Camus, but the consciousness of the Abyss?" Camus found Thor's obsession with his identity ridiculous.

But Thor didn't find it laughable. "It makes sense. If this proves that the consciousness in your anchor point is a fragment of the Abyss's consciousness, then the consciousness fused from other anchor points is also a fragment of the Abyss's consciousness. In other words, the so-called anchor points are actually part of the Abyss's corpse, and very likely fragments of the spiritual body. Those skeletons that resemble the creatures of the Wizarding World are just images of spiritual body fragments in the eyes of wizards."

Thor pointed to the barren land beneath his feet, "This area is actually the largest fragment of the spiritual entity."

He pointed to the starry sky above, "What I thought was a starry sky is actually the corpse of the abyss!"

The seemingly dazzling starry sky is nothing more than the remnants of a massive explosion.

The thought that a sixth-order being was a form close to the universe sent shivers down Thor's spine.

He could not fully comprehend the meaning of the sixth order, yet he already felt an instinctive fear of its existence.

Camus's bones trembled, for he knew that Thor was right.

He was afraid, and Thor's statement that he "didn't want to be resurrected and stopped himself" was correct.

Thor's objective has been achieved!
