Chapter 522 Destiny

"The number of extraordinary pathways in the universe is countless, and not every pathway is worth studying, especially the gifted system."

"They have even greater drawbacks than the potion system."

"In the gifted system, there are even fewer demigods and angels, and divinity is the biggest problem here."

While Klein was curiously exploring new methods, Truman had already begun dismembering the two monsters.

With a mere wave of his hand, as if an invisible scalpel were encircling the two bodies, scooping out their "core."

An invisible, dreamlike phosphorescence appeared, enveloping this "core".

"This shouldn't be any extraordinary characteristic, right?" Klein frowned as he looked at the two orbs of light.

"The essence of the Gifts system is the bestowal of power, and these are the powers of those two 'Old Ones'." Truman reached out and grabbed the two orbs of light in his hands.

One of them gradually evolved into a black thorn symbol, while the other became a blood-red moon.

"No problem." Truman nodded slightly. "It's just ordinary power; the main event is elsewhere."

After saying that, Truman threw the two items to Klein.

Klein hurriedly caught the two items in his hands. The dreamlike phosphorescence on them sealed the power of the Outer God within, preventing it from leaking out. This made it quite suitable for Klein to understand the Outer God.

"Let's go!" Truman teleported Klein directly to a house on the edge of the village.

The house is a two-story building partially buried in the ground, and its orange-red roof has a warm feel in the morning light.

"In here!" Klein solemnly put away the two items and turned his attention to the house in front of him.

He sensed a threat in the house; it seemed as if something terrifying was inside.

"Miss Muggle's residence?" Klein frowned. In his vision, the house was shrouded in a layer of mist, making it difficult to see clearly.

This should be the sealing center of the "True Creator" from before.

"Go in." Truman walked up the stairs to the second floor of the house and gently opened the door to a room.

"Miss Muggle?" Klein saw a girl lying on the ground.

The girl was probably not even twenty years old. Even from her pale profile, one could tell that she was beautiful. However, she now had extremely strange black thorn patterns on her body. These thorn patterns seemed to be about to emerge from her skin and enter the real world.

Klein recognized her as Miss "Muggle," since in the illusionary world, although one's appearance is concealed, one's physical form does not change much.

"Put her on the bed." Truman ignored the girl on the ground and walked onto the large white bed, where a little boy who looked to be only about ten years old was lying.

Klein gently raised his hand, and the girl on the ground naturally floated up and landed on the bed. Then he looked at the boy.

"Is this her younger brother?" Klein looked at the boy, probably Melissa's counterpart to himself.

"He's the main point; Miss 'Muggle' is just a side effect." Truman reached out and placed his hand on the boy's forehead, the dreamlike phosphorescence reflecting his inner world.

Buzz... The world seemed to momentarily daze, and Klein suddenly felt a chill run down his spine.

"That's interesting indeed." Klein noticed another smile on Truman's lips, one that seemed somewhat similar to Amon's.

"The boy is the key? That angelic power is in this boy?" Klein's expression changed slightly.

"It's not the power of angels, but the angels themselves!" The dreamlike phosphorescence shifted, and the reflected image also changed abruptly—it was a real angel!

"The 'Ring of Destiny' sent an angel in?!" Klein was still startled, even though he had expected it. Angels and the power of angels are two different things.

Angels' power ultimately needs a vessel. Judging from the advancement speed of the Gifts system, it would take at least several months to unleash the corresponding power, but angels are complete beings.

"Saslil's seal came at just the right time, sealing that angel inside this child's body." Truman nodded slowly, looking at the angel's reflection.

"Can you save him?" Klein glanced at Miss "Muggle" and then at the little boy.

Normally, if a little boy like this came into contact with angelic power, he would be beyond saving, at least not right now. But with Truman here, there is hope.

"Actually, you can too." Truman smiled and looked at Klein.

"What do you want to do?!" Klein suddenly became alert.

"Why don't we go in and have some fun together?" Truman snapped his fingers, and Klein felt a familiar power. He glanced at the "Muggle" lady and the little boy, but did not refuse. He closed his eyes and entered the dream.

Truman closed his eyes and entered the boy's dream.

The boy's dream is very characteristic of this age group, filled with various disordered symbols and illogical fantasies.

But under Truman's control, everything took on a real appearance.

It's still the same house, and the place where Klein and Truman appeared is still this room.

Unlike reality, this place is filled with a dreamlike atmosphere, and the furniture and bed sheets seem to exude a sunny and dreamy vibe.

This feels like home; lonely souls find healing here.

"Who are you!?" A surprised voice rang out. It wasn't the little boy, but Miss Muggle, who was also in the boy's dream.

"Miss Muggle, I'm Detective, we've met before," Klein introduced himself.

"And this is Morpheus, we're here to help you."

"Morpheus" was a pseudonym that Truman randomly made up at the Curly-haired Baboon Research Society.

"You..." Miss Muggle stared in shock at the two people in front of her. She really remembered Klein, the "detective," as they had met many times at parties.

"You've been missing for a long time. Vice President Hela was worried something had happened to you, so she sent me to check on you," Klein said.

"Then...you shouldn't be here!" Miss Muggle's expression suddenly changed as she thought of her current predicament.

"We'll handle this, Miss Aurora." Truman had been watching the boy hiding behind Aurora the whole time.

This is the place of hope in the boy's heart, the embodiment of all that is good, which is why it has been preserved and has not been eroded.

As for the rest of the places, even those sealed by Sasriel had long been shrouded in mist and assimilated by that destined angel.

"Yes, since we've managed to get you here, we have the ability to get you out of here safely." Klein reassured the two of them, trying to calm them down.

"Fellow villagers helping each other—isn't that the very purpose of our gathering?"

"This..." Aurora was, after all, a sentimental girl, and her eyes reddened slightly.
