Chapter 400 Dream Cult

Klein sent the team away through the illusion.

Longzel returned to Rune to find his descendants, Grosser went to Fusak to search for traces of the giants, and Mobert took Shatas back to the Zoroaster family. Afterwards, they will probably go to Sonia Island to find the elves.

There was another ascetic, whom Klein sent to the church of the "True Creator," which he believed was the church that had inherited the legacy of the Creator of the Third Age, and that even the scriptures had not been changed.

Klein watched them go their separate ways with a sigh, but he quickly put the matter aside because the Pope of Dreams summoned him!

"Hermes, the Pope of Dreams..." Klein was very curious about this pioneer of human mysticism, so he brought his puppet directly to the Dream Sanctuary.

Located in the northern suburbs of the Solomon Empire, the Dream Sanctuary is very low-key, and its architecture is far less magnificent and dreamlike than that of the Illusionary Sanctuary. However, standing in front of the sanctuary, Klein felt an overwhelming sense of ancient mystery.

The entire church has a bright, light color scheme, and the main structure is made of white marble, without any luxurious decorations.

"Archbishop John, please follow me." The Dream Priest led Klein through the sanctuary.

The Dream Sanctuary was unusually quiet. Many believers came to worship, but they were all extremely devout and dared not disturb the peace of the dream.

"Please come in." In a reception room deep inside the sanctuary, Klein heard very pure ancient Hermes.

Soon he saw the Dream Pope, whom he had only seen in the Dream Bible.

The pope was dressed in a simple white robe, his hair was completely white but still thick enough, his face had few wrinkles, and his appearance was not particularly distinctive.

"Come and sit down." The pope was almost too kind; he beckoned Klein to sit to his left.

"Greetings, Your Holiness." Klein bowed slightly to show his respect.

"I've wanted to meet you for a long time." Hermes' tone always gave Klein a comforting feeling, just like Audrey Hall.

So, this is a "spectator"? Perhaps the most powerful "spectator" besides that one... Klein himself is a dual-path, there's no reason why others can't be.

"Why?" Klein asked.

"You are favored by the dream; the last one to be favored was Bernadette," Hermes explained.

Bernadette? The mysterious queen, Roselle's daughter... Klein nodded, understanding that the "favor" here probably meant a dual approach.

Klein seemed to have only met the Pope in front of him before.

"At the same time, you are also a person favored by fate," Hermes continued.

"Every stroke of fate comes with a hidden price." Klein thought of the gray fog and that cloak.

Hermes remained noncommittal, then thought for a moment and asked, "So, do you have any questions for me?"

"This is a divine oracle."

"Of course, you can also save the opportunity for after the angels. At that time, you can ask any angel from the Dream Cult to answer your questions."

Klein remained silent for a long time. He knew many secrets, but not enough. He also knew that angels were probably at a very subtle level, and there were some things that only angels could know.

"Thank you," Klein said sincerely.

"Knock knock!" A knock suddenly came from outside the door.

"Professor Hermes, may I come in?" It was a female voice, which seemed somewhat familiar.

"Come in." Hermes had already stood up, ready to introduce Klein.

The door was pushed open the next moment, and a bright-looking, tall woman walked in.

The woman was wearing a girlish yellow cake dress, a black soft hat, and long chestnut hair that reached her waist. Her eyes were azure and deep, like a condensed ocean.

"Bernarde Gustave! Rosell's eldest daughter!"

Klein's spiritual insight had already given him the answer the moment he saw the woman.

Oh, it's your niece! I'm Uncle Zhou from the bed next to your dad's... This thought flashed through Klein's mind instantly.

But he certainly wouldn't dare show it, saying, "I've seen a mysterious angel."

Klein bowed slightly in greeting.

"Mysterious Angel" is Bernadette's angelic title within the Dream Cult.

"Hmm!" The "mysterious queen" looked Klein up and down and nodded slightly.

"Teacher Hermes, may I take him away?" Bernadette asked Hermes.

"Why?" Hermes asked curiously.

"It was my father's order," Bernadette replied.

"That's fine." Hermes thus sold out Klein.

Klein suddenly felt that coming to the Solomon Empire might not be a good thing.

The density of angels here is outrageous, and it's Roselle's stronghold; something might be exposed.

"Please!" Bernadette looked at Klein and gestured for him to enter.

Klein forced a smile using his "Clown" abilities. "I wonder why Duke Roselle knows my name?"

Oh, by the way, the Gustav family is now an angelic family, and Rosell is still an Imperial Duke.

"I'd also like to know why, why don't you tell me?" Bernadette's gaze fell on Klein, putting immense pressure on him.

Klein had no choice but to follow Bernadette out of the reception room.

The two didn't exchange many words, but walked all the way to the deepest part and saw the Dream Statue.

It is a true dreamlike statue, almost exactly the same as the one in the Illusionary Sanctuary.

"Go up there." Klein followed Bernadette's finger and saw a crystal ball the size of a human head on the altar beneath the Dream Icon.

This crystal ball is very similar to the one Klein obtained, except that this one is larger and has a richer, more intense dreamlike phosphorescence surging within it.

"The Illusionary Realm?" Klein sensed something; the feeling was quite clear, this was probably an anchor point for the Illusionary Realm in the real world.

"You don't need to tell me, He's not prepared to tell me." Bernadette's voice carried a hint of dissatisfaction and resentment.

Klein's eyes twitched slightly as he slowly walked up to the altar and placed his hand on it.

In that instant, it was as if the whole world had exploded. Endless streams of light flashed in Klein's eyes. He saw the illusionary realm, and he saw a "fairyland" hidden deep within the illusionary realm—the Tower of Babel.

Klein's pupils contracted sharply. This was a place he frequented, where he could get close to people who shared his thoughts, and most of the people there were also Klein's good friends.

When his spirits wavered, this tower became one of his pillars of support.

Its existence prevented Klein from falling into the deepest loneliness.

"Something's happened to the Curly-haired Baboon Research Society!" This thought flashed through Klein's mind.
