Chapter 322 "External Avatar"

Chapter 322 "External Avatar"

Klein returned to the real world. He had been in the bathroom for a while, and if he didn't go out soon, people would think something was wrong with him.

"I'm going out to gather some information," Klein said to Leonard and the others.

"I'll go with you!" Danitz, who had been holding back for a while, volunteered. "I know Bayam very well, I can take you away from the Church of Storms!"

"...Okay!" Klein thought for a moment and nodded slightly.

And so, he and Danitz walked through the increasingly tense atmosphere of Bayam.

Not long after Klein left, his spirituality was suddenly awakened.

In a daze, he saw a terrifying tsunami that submerged half of the city of Bayam, with countless people swept away by the waves and losing their lives.

"'Sea God' Kavituva has been targeted by the Storm Church and has lost the 'Book of Calamities'. Is he going crazy?!" Klein quickened his pace and found a warehouse with Danitz, where he sacrificed one of his cigarette cases to Kavituva.

Then, after thinking for a moment, he performed another prayer ceremony and took the "Book of Calamities" down from the gray fog.

"Your ritual..." Danitz looked at Klein hesitantly, "Is it a prayer to the gods?"

Klein did not avoid the pirate when he held the ceremony.

"Yes!" Klein looked at Danitz expressionlessly.

"Aren't you a fantasist...?" Danitz suddenly sensed something was wrong.

"As you can see, I also believe in another great being." Klein finished his urgent tasks and prepared to deal with Danitz.

"You... there's no need for you to tell me." Danitz's Adam's apple bobbed, and cold sweat broke out on his back under Klein's gaze.

It's not wrong to believe in the Dream Cult and other churches, but why would I tell you that this is very wrong!

Danitz began to regret coming out.

"Are you interested in learning about my faith, Mr. 'Fool'?" Klein suddenly grinned and looked at Danitz.

"No, I don't want to!" Danitz quickly waved his hand.

"Hmm?" Klein's smile vanished instantly.

"..." Danitz's spiritual intuition was pounding; he felt that the person in front of him might really attack him!

"Could you introduce me to him?" Danitz asked, forcing himself to speak.

"Very good." Klein nodded in satisfaction. It seemed that Mr. Fool was about to gain his first believer outside of the Tarot Club today.

"A fool who does not belong to this era..." Klein chanted the name of "the fool" and quietly marked Danitz so that he could lock onto him in the gray fog.

"This Sherlock is a pervert. On the surface, he's a fanatic, but in reality, he's a member of a secret cult, worshipping a hidden being called 'The Fool'..."

"Huh? 'The Fool'? That name seems familiar..."

Danitz felt he had managed to get away with it, and decided to keep his distance from Sherlock from now on.

"Go out first and guard this place," Klein suddenly instructed, his spirit telling him that Kavituwa was dead!

"Alright!" Danitz immediately retreated and closed the door.

Klein, on the other hand, set up a ritual, summoned himself, and then entered the gray fog, taking out yet another "external avatar" paper figure.

This time, however, it wasn't just a simple use of paper angels; his own spirit entered the paper angels!

hum!

Klein felt as if he had returned to his own body, but there were also some subtle differences.

With a thought, he returned to the real world, but this time he did not return to his real body; he still used an "avatar."

This time, it's a true avatar.

"It really works!" Klein casually took out a paintbrush from his body and drew a few strokes on the paper figure. With the addition of the "Faceless Man's" ability, he was no longer himself.

He nodded in satisfaction, picked up the Book of Calamities and the Mirror of Arodes, and entered the spirit world directly.

His current state is strange. He is essentially a spirit, but he is supported by paper angels, which greatly enhances his mobility. He has even acquired some of the illusory status of paper angels that only exist in the gray mist!

This is a very high rank!

Klein's avatar traveled through the spirit world, constantly using divination to get closer to the location of the cigarette box he was sacrificing.

The spirit world is both real and illusory, both strange and mysterious. This wasn't Klein's first time in the realm, so he was quite familiar with it.

"Huh?" Klein's mind clicked, and he looked straight ahead.

In the void of the spirit realm ahead, countless strange spirit creatures were roaming, but in a certain moment they all ran away, leaving only one.

"Miss Messenger?" Klein looked at his messenger in surprise. She actually recognized him and even came here.

"You...have...a special...aura..." The messenger's voice reached Klein's ears.

Klein nodded slightly, then thought for a moment, "I'd like to hire you to take me somewhere."

"One... Dream... Gold Coin," the messenger's four heads said in turn.

"If... there's a situation... I'll charge extra..."

"Okay!" Klein agreed readily.

The messenger glanced at Klein and headed in a certain direction as instructed by him.

The messenger was incredibly fast; in just a few moments, he traversed an unknown distance into the spirit world and found an ancient, dark ruin.

"Let's go in!" Klein was getting impatient.

Klein, who appeared here with the Book of Calamities, almost instantly took control of this ruin. Even if "Sea God" Kavituwa were still alive, Klein could still compete with Him for control of this ruin!

"It really is an elven ruin." Klein walked through the ruins, with the messenger girl following behind him.

"The Book of Calamities is a relic of the Elf Queen; possessing it will likely prevent you from encountering too much danger."

Klein soon saw the enormous body of Kavituvan and a "sea giant" that was gnawing on its body.

"Is this a mad extraordinary being? A priest of Kavituwa?"

Klein quickly confirmed his thoughts.

"Do you need... me... to help...?" the messenger asked, looking at the "sea giant."

"I'll do it myself!" Klein quickly refused, certain that he couldn't afford the messenger's price.

He took out the Mirror of Arrodes and gently tapped its surface.

"Ah! Supreme Master, you have finally shown me favor once again!"

This time, the Adros mirror vibrated and hummed, creating a sound effect that was essentially shouting the words out.

This news spread quite far within the ruins.

Klein almost threw the mirror away in embarrassment, only managing to keep his expression straight by using his "Joker" ability.

The messenger's four heads were all turned in this direction, and her eight blood-red eyes were all fixed on Arodes.
