Chapter 246 Demigods

"Destroy everything we own?!" Dunn and Leonard exchanged a grave look.

"As you know, I am also an Extraordinary being of the 'Dream' pathway, and I can sense a certain terror emanating from that woman!" Klein quickly explained.

Leonard seemed to listen intently for a moment, then his expression changed. He nodded slightly, "I agree with Klein's idea! We need to be on guard!"

Dunn looked at his two colleagues and chose to trust them. "I'll request reinforcements from the Sanctuary immediately. Klein, you evacuate the non-combatants. Leonard, you keep Triss calm!"

"Just in case, we need to prepare for battle!"

"yes!"

Both Klein and Leonard had serious expressions as they began evacuating personnel and preparing for battle.

After Klein had his men evacuate, he was about to close the gates of Blackthorn Security Company when he saw a woman who was unbelievably beautiful.

Yes, it's a captivating beauty; just her standing there is alluring.

"Why are you closing the door?" The woman arrived at the entrance of Blackthorn Security Company, looked at Klein and chuckled as she spoke. Her voice penetrated Klein's mind, almost causing him to lose his composure.

His spiritual warnings came again, as irritating and even out of control as a wake-up call!

"What's going on?!"

Klein's heart skipped a beat, but he forced a smile. "I have something to do today, so we're closed for the day."

He quickened his pace, trying to close the door.

"Huh? You're a true follower of the Dream Cult?" The woman approached Klein, looked him up and down, and gave him a seductive smile.

Klein easily broke free from the allure, which piqued her interest, and then she confirmed something.

"Under normal circumstances, we would probably have had a tragic love story, but not now, which is a pity."

Klein broke out in a cold sweat as he listened, instinctively using his abilities to distance himself from this terrifying woman.

"Illusion?"

But it was clear that the newcomer's understanding of the "Dream" pathway exceeded Klein's imagination. She turned to look at Klein's departing true form.

The illusion had absolutely no effect!

Klein had already reached into his pocket for the "Sunfire Charm," which he had created during one of his missions using the "Mutated Sun Emblem."

"You have other tricks up your sleeve?" The woman looked at Klein curiously.

Klein forcibly controlled his expression. The enemy in front of him was the most terrifying one he had ever encountered, and might even be a high-sequence extraordinary being!

"Why would such an extraordinary being come here?!" Klein lamented inwardly.

"Klein seems to be in trouble!" After sending the telegram, Dunn discovered that Klein had not come to Charnis's door to collect the sealing artifacts needed for the battle.

"I..." Dunn's mind suddenly went blank for a moment, a certain thought taking root in his head, "I must use the strongest sealing artifact to save my colleagues!"

Dunn quickly used his captain's authority to retrieve Saint Selena's ashes from behind the Charnis Gate.

This is a relic of a saint, possessing incredible power.

Just then, Leonard arrived and also retrieved a sealed artifact from behind the Chanis door.

After the two of them produced the Chanis Gate, the situation outside became extremely strange.

Triss had already come out of the conference room and was slumped against the wall, watching the woman walk in through the door.

"The 'Despair' Witch?!" Triss's voice was filled with a despair that felt like her heart had turned to ashes.

"I'm just taking Triss away. She has nothing to do with you. Afterwards, I'll take Triss away from Tingen."

Dunn arrived at the scene of the confrontation, holding Saint Selena's ashes. The "Witch of Despair" looked at the ashes in Dunn's hand with slight apprehension.

"No! Help me! I can't go with her!" Triss tried to get closer to Klein and Dunn.

"Come here, this is your destiny." A dark light flashed in the eyes of the Witch of Despair. At this moment, the entire space seemed to be filled with some kind of net-like threads, enveloping everyone inside.

She's like a spider, controlling everything here.

Triss, on the other hand, was more like prey trapped in a snare, unable to move, her body controlled as she moved toward the Witch of Despair.

"What should we do?" This is definitely not an enemy they can fight.

Both Klein and Leonard looked at Captain Dunn.

He was the only one who was barely qualified to speak with this high-sequence extraordinary being.

"..." Dunn's face was as solemn as a statue. After a few breaths, he made a difficult choice.

"Can."

This sudden enemy reminded Dunn Smith of the saints in the church, whom he could not resist.

Triss is not a good person and cannot allow Dunn to gamble with his own and his colleagues' lives.

"No!" But Triss wouldn't allow it!

Her voice turned into a shriek, and some extremely intense emotion of despair and pain touched the sapphire ring, causing it to flash with a faint light.

This granted Triss immense power, but she knew she could never escape the pursuit of a demigod, so she targeted Dunn Smith!

hum!

Dunn Smith's deep eyes were bloodshot, and blood was flowing from his nose.

Klein and Leonard were in the same situation, suffering great damage in that shriek.

Almost instinctively, Dunn Smith opened the urn in his hand.

The box was filled with deep darkness, and within that darkness, tiny specks of shimmering sand.

This scene is like a shining star in the dark night sky, dreamlike and beautiful.

The next instant, the entire hall was shrouded in a deep darkness, countless starlight emerged from the darkness, and countless thin lines in the air rushed towards Triss and the Witch of Despair.

"Stop." The Witch of Despair's voice carried a certain divine majesty.

The spider silk that filled the void began to tighten, resisting the domain created by Saint Selena's ashes, while simultaneously restricting the dark threads.

This was a clash of demigod powers. The Witch of Despair was doing well, but Dunn Smith was bleeding from his mouth and nose, enduring extremely terrifying pressure.

"Light!" came the ancient Hermesian words, and the Witch of Despair looked up abruptly.

It was as if a sun had risen in Klein's hand, its clear sunlight bursting out with a domineering power that could purify all evil.

Klein was unfamiliar with this kind of power, so he could only unleash it all on the Witch of Despair.

They didn't want to fight this demigod, but the accident caused by Triss triggered a stress response from Saint Serena's ashes.

The Witch of Despair couldn't just stand by and watch those threads envelop her and Triss. She wasn't afraid of herself, but Triss absolutely couldn't be harmed.

She made her move, which led to a clash between demigod powers.

This confrontation could very well lead to the death of Dunn Smith, who is holding the ashes!

Klein had to intervene and save his captain no matter what.
