Chapter 133 The Storm Is Coming

Chapter 133 The Storm Is Coming

Antigonus, the demon wolf from the Land of Night, has arrived in the turbulent real world.

But as the various struggles gradually reached their climax, even the archangels of Sequence One were unable to exert a decisive influence on the battle.

When Antigonus first arrived in the capital of Solomon, he was truly awestruck by the progress of human civilization.

In the days when His Father God was still alive, humanity was in its most primitive stage, and even extraordinary beings were few and far between.

In the age of the Creator, human civilization developed at an unimaginable speed, and what Antigonus saw now had left him somewhat bewildered.

The Kingdom of Night is ultimately too remote, with too few people, and its contact with the outside world is controlled to a certain extent by the two angels. Even basic iron tools for this era have not yet become widespread.

"Hello, are you Mr. Antigonus?" An elderly man dressed in a white divine robe approached silently.

It was Hermes, who naturally couldn't stay in that almost completely closed Gensokyo.

He governs all the dream believers in the North and South continents and exercises the power of the Pope, but Hermes does not covet these things. After learning that Truman has come to the capital of Solomon, he follows him.

Antigonus's eyes instantly turned dark as he looked at Hermes, the thick black wolf hair on his face standing up slightly.

This is just the wolf's instinctive reaction when it encounters danger.

"The Supreme Dream foretold your appearance, leading me here to await your arrival." Hermes's face was filled with the utmost reverence for the Supreme Dream.

After entering the new era, all dream believers on this planet have changed their name for dream, and their prayers are now the same as those of the Star Familiar.

"Lord of Dreams" and "Supreme Dreams" are Truman's latest honorific titles.

"Dream?" Antigonus was momentarily dazed. Was Dream the Dream Angel when he was protecting the Hornach Mountains?

"Please follow me," Hermes said, leading the way.

Antigonus hesitated for a moment, then followed. He was already quite familiar with the dreamlike phosphorescence on Hermes' body.

"Long time no see, Antigonus." Truman met the little wolf who had just come down from the mountain in the castle's drawing room.

"Your Majesty the Dream," Antigonus said, performing a gesture commonly used by the Solomons.

Truman nodded slightly. "Do you want to get back the 'Fool's Mask'?"

"Yes!" Antigonus replied with a serious expression.

"Okay, that's what I promised you." Truman doesn't need the "Fool" mask now.

"But you should know what you'll face after you get this back," Truman said, his tone laced with warning.

"I can already hear His whispers in my ear," Antigonus said expressionlessly, as if he were talking to a stranger.

"Hmm?" Truman's gaze fell on Antigonus, as if he could see the constant, echoing murmurs within his body.

That was a power he was very familiar with.

The "Fool" path truly lives up to its reputation as the Lord of Mysteries' private domain. Compared to the "Gate" and the "Mistake," this path carries a far greater risk of reviving the Lord of Mysteries.

Basically, becoming a "mysterious servant" means facing that person's threat head-on.

"Once you merge with that mask, you will inevitably spiral out of control if you take any further steps," Truman predicted regarding Antigonus's condition.

"..." Antigonus's brows furrowed, but his thoughts remained unchanged.

"Can you tell me your reasons? That way, the price you pay will be less." Truman didn't try to pry with "wishful thinking," but asked out of curiosity.

One must always retain some desire to explore in life.

"..." Antigonus's hard features softened slightly as he looked toward the Hornach Mountains. "I want to protect my home."

The time Antigonus spent in the Hornach Mountains was the most beautiful time in his life, allowing him to seemingly forget all the disturbances and dangers of the outside world and to experience the first peace since his birth.

"My promise remains valid; Hornach will not be disturbed by anyone."

"But..." Antigonus turned to look at Truman, his dark eyes revealing a complex expression.

He pointed to his head, "I only need to face Him, but you will face something infinitely more dangerous than I do."

"I saw the battle in which you killed the Creator from afar in my historical projection. You faced too many and too difficult challenges."

Uh… Truman didn’t expect to hear such a reply and fell silent for a moment.

"That's right, placing all your hopes on others is the most foolish choice." Truman came to his senses, nodded in agreement, and casually tossed the "Fool" mask to Antigonus.

"What price do I need to pay?" Antigonus asked Truman, holding the "Fool" mask that was so compatible with Him and had a strong attraction to Him.

"Ah, this..." Truman was momentarily stumped by the question, then his eyes lit up, "Become my angel, fight for me."

If all three mysterious paths have become my students or angels, then wouldn't that be equivalent to the "Lord of Mysteries" becoming my angel?

"I will not completely lock you up either; the beginning and the end are the establishment and destruction of the Solomon Empire."

"It is my honor to be the angel of the highest dream." Antigonus knelt on one knee before Truman and bowed his head.

"Very good," Truman flicked his finger, and a dreamlike mark landed on Antigonus's hand. "Become my angel, and you will receive corresponding benefits."

"This mark can't help you fight against that will, but it can make your daily life a little more comfortable, so you don't have to passively listen to that annoying babbling."

Antigonus stared in shock at the mark on the back of his hand, which completely overturned his understanding of sequences, pathways, and potions.

"Hermes will take you to find out the specifics." Truman let Hermes lead the bewildered Antigonus away from the Duke's castle and into the war of nation-building.

"The Solomon Empire..." Antigonus's arrival was just a minor incident; what Truman was really concerned about was the godhood ceremony on the Solomon side.

"There's one last major sacrificial ceremony left; they should be getting restless by now."

If the Black Emperor becomes a god and the Solomon Empire is fully established, then even ignoring Truman as an unstable factor, the true creator's camp is powerful enough that it would be absolutely impossible to resist unless the true gods unite.

The current situation is that the "God of Knowledge and Wisdom" and the "Lord of Storms" are hostile to each other, but also cooperate to resist the "Eternal Sun" which has been developing quietly, and are also eyeing the true creator.

The "God of War" and the "Goddess of Night" have already started a holy war. Except for the gods, all the other angels have been deployed.

The "Earth Mother Goddess" is more detached, spreading the radiance of life across the northern and southern continents, but she is clearly biased towards the "God of War".

"A storm is coming, well, not you, Leodorus..."
