In the Apocalypse, I Can Enter Hogwarts

Chapter 94 First Time Participating in the Transformation Club
Ian was glad he had asked the right person.
"Yes, Professor McGonagall did invite me to the Transformers Club."
"That's great!" Cedric exclaimed happily.
He could tell that Cedric was genuinely happy for him, not just making polite gestures, and he understood that perhaps the reason Cedric was so popular and had so many friends at Hogwarts was because of this sincerity.
Ian spread his hands and said helplessly, "Then I'll have to trouble you to lead the way. I've been looking for the entrance for almost 10 minutes and haven't found it."
"That painting is indeed in a rather remote location. Follow me." With that, Cedric walked ahead and began to point out the way.
As they walked and talked in the long corridor, after turning around three times, they finally found the dusty landscape painting in a corner.
"Don't look at me, I don't know. When I first came to the Transformation Club, I already cleaned this painting, but it was still like this when I came out. It probably just automatically gets covered in dust, and after a while, people just stop paying attention to it."
Perhaps noticing Ian's surprised look, Cedric couldn't help but speak up to explain.
"Well, maybe Professor McGonagall likes it this way. Haven't you noticed the inexplicable sadness in this painting after it's covered in dust?"
Ian always felt that his right brain was more developed than his left brain, so he always had a keen intuition for art, music, and visual memory.
Cedric nodded in agreement: "Perhaps that's true. The dusty sunset... not only represents the coming of darkness, but also clearly expresses the sadness, longing, romance, and admiration of the artist... I feel that the artist of this painting must be a woman."
"And she's a woman with a lot of emotions," Ian added promptly from the side.
"You're right. Not only are they emotionally rich, they're also quite sensitive. How should I put it, it's like someone in the throes of first love..."
Before Cedric could finish speaking, the portrait was opened from behind.
The first thing you see is Professor McGonagall.
"Gentlemen! I think if you have nothing else to do, you should come in directly, instead of standing at the door discussing the artist of a painting." Professor McGonagall, looking somewhat serious, pursed her lips.
"Besides, everyone else is already here, we're just missing you guys. Once everyone's here, we can start earlier..."
Professor McGonagall's sudden appearance startled both of them. Ian then realized that Professor McGonagall had probably noticed them discussing things at the door...
"I'm sorry, Professor McGonagall!" "It's our fault."
Faced with Professor McGonagall's slightly stern gaze, Ian and Cedric did not try to make excuses, but instead readily bowed their heads and admitted their mistakes.
Professor McGonagall didn't dwell on the two good students in front of her. She simply waved her wand to wipe the dust off the painting before turning and entering the classroom at the back.
"Let's go, Ian. I have a feeling Professor McGonagall is a bit unhappy today." Cedric said and walked inside alone.
Ian followed closely behind and closed the door behind him. Little did he know that the moment the door closed, the landscape painting remained spotless, without the slightest trace of the dust that Cedric had described.
……
As soon as Ian entered the room, he heard a voice. A girl sitting next to him joked:
"What a beautiful sight... Welcome, Ian. I only heard this morning that there was a new member joining today, but I didn't expect it to be you. Anyway, thank you for bringing such a beautiful sight to this classroom."
The girl stood up and walked over to Ian. "My name is Angelina Jensen. I'm a Gryffindor in the same year as you, and I'm also the Chaser on the school's Quidditch team."
Angelina leaned forward slightly, stopping less than a foot away from Ian, and then added meaningfully, "I'm still single..."
"Ahem." Professor McGonagall had appeared there at some point, holding two copies of "Transformers Today" in her hands.
"Now that everyone's here, I think we can begin. Ian, you can borrow this book for now."
After taking the magazine from Professor McGonagall, he quietly found a single sofa and sat down.
Angelina was still somewhat unwilling to give up. She picked up her chair, intending to quietly move closer to Ian. However, she had barely taken a step when Professor McGonagall stared at her with sharp eyes.
Now she gave up, smiled apologetically at Professor McGonagall, and pretended that the chair was unstable and she was adjusting the angle herself.
"Our first topic today," Professor McGonagall said, opening the magazine in her hand. "Read and discuss the front-page article of this issue of *Transformations Today*."
Professor McGonagall's previously stern expression softened: "Even I found a lot of inspiration in this paper."
At this point, she couldn't help but reveal a proud smile.
"The author of this paper is Bill Weasley, one of the most outstanding students in Gryffindor."
Ian was somewhat moved by this, remarking that the Weasley family truly produced many talented individuals. Bill, as their eldest son, had set a very good example for his younger siblings.
An impressive individual who has obtained 12 certificates in the OWLs exam, even after graduation, worked as a Gringotts Charm Breaker, a job that focuses on spells and ancient runes.
However, the other party's transformation skills have not been abandoned. The first article published in "Today's Transformation," a highly academic magazine, is the other party's paper. This gives a glimpse into the whole picture and shows that the other party's true level is indeed very high.
Professor McGonagall put down her magazine and addressed the group, "Now you may begin reading. Those who have read it beforehand can review it carefully or think seriously about their remarks in the discussion."
Upon hearing this, the students quickly sprang into action, either opening magazines to read or flipping through their notebooks to look up information.
Ian calmly opened the magazine in his hand, ready to read the paper that Professor McGonagall had praised.
After about ten minutes, once Ian had completely read the paper, he suddenly felt that his achievements were truly laughable. Looking at the paper's title—"Transfiguration and Changing the Nature of Objects: A Conjecture"—he couldn't help but feel a sense of absurdity.
The entire article takes basic transfiguration as its argument, explaining that when highly skilled wizards cast transfiguration spells, they not only change the form of objects but also their intrinsic nature.
This is why the Animagus can transform wizards into animal forms, and it is a complete and fundamental change.
The article also mentions that the fundamental reason why they cannot become magical creatures is the difference in magic, or incompatibility.
This confirms Ian's previous conjecture about bloodlines: perhaps apart from the first generation of wizards whose bloodlines were relatively pure, the bloodlines of subsequent generations have become mottled and indistinct.
