Chapter 93 Academy Cultivation

"What an amazing little fellow," Delinkowert's voice rang out again. "Linley, his mental strength is far greater than it appears..."

Lin Lei was even more surprised. Lei Ming had already displayed 60 times the mental strength, but Delinkovt said that he still had something to hide!

"There are so many geniuses," Lin Lei exclaimed.

After completing the formalities, Lei Ming was about to enter the academy, so Elvis and the others had to stop.

"Ernst Academy does not allow anyone other than students to enter, so you should go back now," Lei Ming said, taking the luggage.

Elvis said, "His Majesty ordered us to protect His Highness, so we will guard outside the academy. If His Highness leaves the academy, we will be able to protect him as well."

Lei Ming didn't insist, knowing that it was Elvis and his team's duty.

"Alright then, I'll let you know if anything comes up."

The Ernst College boasts beautiful scenery, with lush greenery, lakes, stone bridges, artificial hills, and various ancient buildings—a rich cultural heritage unmatched by other colleges. However, Lei Ming found these landscapes ordinary; following the college's arrangements, he went directly to his dormitory.

Lei Ming's dormitory was different from the other students'; it was a separate courtyard. Other students, even those of high status, rarely received the same treatment as Lei Ming.

This was for two reasons. First, Clyde was concerned for Lei Ming's safety and specifically sought help from the Holy See of Light. Second, the Holy See of Light also wanted to curry favor with Lei Ming, as he now showed potential to become a powerful figure, and they were willing to make some investments.

Meanwhile, Linley and Reno also entered the academy. They chatted and admired the scenery before returning to their dormitory. Linley's dormitory was a four-person room, and although the facilities were considered luxurious, they were far inferior to Lei Ming's dormitory. Here, Linley also met the other three brothers from dormitory 1987 and quickly became friends with them.

"When I was enrolling, I checked and found that all 100 students enrolled this year have at least superior mental strength and elemental affinity. I also discovered that there are geniuses among this year's students who have super-super mental strength and elemental affinity!" said George, the head of the dormitory. He was born into a political family in the Yulan Empire and was very well-informed.

"I've heard that too. There's an absolute genius at Ernst College. Have you heard of him?" Yale deliberately kept them in suspense.

Linley and Reno shook their heads, but George nodded with a smile: "You mean Dixie, right? A dual-elemental mage with superhuman elemental affinity and mental strength, especially his mental strength, which is 68 times that of his peers, making him a superhuman among superhumans."

Reno recalled the scene from today's test and shook his head, saying, "A dual-elemental super-genius isn't enough to be considered the number one genius. Today, Linley and I met a freakish individual outside the academy who possessed super-level affinity for three elements and super-level mental strength. Judging from his appearance, he should be a prince of a kingdom."

"There are people like that?" George was a little incredulous.

Linley nodded: "I've heard people say that he is Prince Leiming, the third prince of the Kingdom of Fenlai."

"Ernst College is truly a gathering place for geniuses."

Unlike other students, Lei Ming went to the Ernst Academy library after tidying up his dormitory. The library had a large number of books about magic. Lei Ming picked up a book and quickly flipped through it. He changed to another book in less than ten minutes.

Lei Ming was engrossed in his book, seemingly oblivious to his surroundings, which aroused the curiosity of the others. However, no one bothered him.

As the premier magic academy on the Yulan Continent, Ernst Academy boasts a library with far more books than the Kingdom of Fenlai. Lei Ming focuses on studying the three elements of magic: earth, water, and fire. He starts from the basics, and the lower the level of the magic, the longer he spends studying it.

Several months have passed since Ernst College opened, but Lei Ming hasn't attended a single class. After finishing reading the books he needed, he found a place in the back mountains to cultivate.

"Whether it's magic or battle aura, they are all applications of the laws. Even a level one magic reflects a certain aspect of the laws."

Lei Ming didn't chant any magic incantation; he simply thought of it, and five fireballs appeared in front of him. The fireballs shot out and landed on a nearby boulder, blasting the boulder, which was taller than a person, into pieces.

"Magic spells are only meant to make it easier for magicians of levels one through nine to activate magical elements. Once you understand the essence of magic and have strong mental power, you can cast spells instantly."

Lei Ming used his mental power to arrange fire elements into rockets, which instantly traveled tens of meters and struck the stone wall, blasting a hole in it. This power was comparable to a hand grenade from the technological world.

……

That day, Lin Lei excitedly entered the forest. With the aid of wind magic, he moved as lightly as a leaf, nimbly traversing the woods. Before long, he reached a riverbank, a place he often practiced at.

"Grandpa Delin, please come out and guide me!" Linley cried out in his heart.

Delinkovt's soul flew out of the Azure Dragon Ring and laughed, "You always meditate and train first, why are you looking for me today?"

Linley said excitedly, "Grandpa Delin, I feel like I've reached the level of a second-level mage. I'd like you to help me test it out."

Delinkovt calculated that it had only been a little over a year since Linley first came into contact with magic, and his growth rate was already quite fast.

"Well, then show me the basic magic, the Shattering Stone. You need to push it to your limit, understand?" Delinkovt said.

Linley immediately began to silently recite the magic incantation. Magic incantations are usually very difficult to pronounce and require a long period of practice to be able to recite them smoothly. Linley had patience and perseverance, and he had practiced this magic incantation until he was extremely proficient.

Magical power surged from Linley's body, causing the earth elemental energy in the world to tremble. The ground next to him suddenly cracked open, and five stones the size of heads flew out from the ground, hovering above Linley's head. With a low shout from Linley, the five stones were thrown into the distance, creating a gust of wind.

With a thud, five stones simultaneously struck a tree trunk as thick as a bowl. The stones fell, but the tree trunk did not break.

"Hmm, very good. Being able to control five shattered stones simultaneously, judging from the flight speed and power, it certainly reaches the level of a second-level mage." Delinkovt smiled with satisfaction.

Lin Lei also smiled.

Just then, the river beside them suddenly changed. Waves parted to both sides, and then a three-meter-long water snake, made of water elements, leaped out of the river, soaring more than ten meters high. The snake's tail lashed out at a large tree on the riverbank, which would take several people to encircle, and the tree crashed to the ground.

The water snake hadn't disappeared yet; it raised its head high and looked at Linley, its lively eyes seeming to have a life of their own.

Linley was greatly surprised, but Delinkovt was even more astonished.

"This is impossible!" Derinkowart exclaimed. "Only high-level magic can mimic form, but this is clearly low-level water magic. How can it be so agile and powerful!"

Feeling provoked by the water snake, Bebe on Linley's shoulder squeaked and charged at it. It was incredibly fast, reaching the top of the snake's head in the blink of an eye. It opened its sharp teeth to bite the snake, and before the snake could react, it was bitten.

Bebe took a sip of water, and before he could figure out what was happening, he was lashed by the snake's tail and crashed into a tree, startling Linley. However, seeing that Bebe quickly got up and was unharmed, Linley was immediately relieved.

After attacking Beibei, the water snake seemed to lose its power and turned into a puddle of water.

Squeak... Bebe returned to Linley's shoulder, seemingly quite resentful.

"Grandpa Delin, what's going on?" Linley asked.

Delinkov was still thinking about the magic from earlier when he heard Linley's repeated questions, which brought him back to his senses.

"Someone's cultivating in the river; they'll be out soon," Delinkovot said. "Be careful!"

Having mastered fire magic, Lei Ming began practicing water magic. Practicing water magic is best done in places abundant with water elements, so Lei Ming found a river behind the academy, only to unexpectedly encounter Lin Lei. He burst from the water, the water on his body instantly turning into vapor, and his clothes dried in the blink of an eye.

"It's you!" Lin Lei couldn't help but exclaim upon seeing Lei Ming, as he had a very deep impression of Lei Ming.
