Chapter 88 Thunder and Lin Lei

A streak of light flashed across the sky. Beirut thought for a moment, then suddenly vanished from the metal castle, chasing after the light. The light disappeared silently halfway down the mountain.

Beirut blinked his small eyes, then spread his divine sense across the entire plane, but still found nothing.

"Strange, no powerful individuals have entered the Magnolia Plane." Beirut shook his head and returned to the castle.

Lei Ming's primordial spirit was struck down by an unknown powerful being and, following his instincts, entered a mother body. While traversing planes, Lei Ming's primordial spirit had almost exhausted its power. Upon entering the mother body, it fell into a deep sleep, and it wasn't until several months later that its power slowly recovered. He had just woken up when he felt someone pat him on the buttocks.

Lei Ming was furious and immediately spoke, but what came out of his mouth was a "waaaaa" sound.

Beside Lei Ming, a female priestess who looked to be in her thirties let out a long sigh of relief.

"Your Majesty, the little prince has been rescued," the priestess said.

The elegant woman lying on the bed was overjoyed and quickly had Lei Ming brought to her. Looking at Lei Ming's bright and piercing eyes, the woman smiled happily.

"Thank you, Priestess Chris!" the woman said.

The priestess Chris smiled and said, "The Queen should thank my Lord; it was the Lord's power that saved the little prince!"

"Yes, yes, thank you, God of Light!" the woman said repeatedly.

Lei Ming only came to his senses at this moment, realizing that he had been reincarnated and was now a baby!

Lei Ming then recalled what had happened when he first entered this world!

"The Kunlun Mirror is gone, my physical body has been taken away, and my primordial spirit power is less than one percent of its peak strength..."

Lei Ming was filled with both anger and fear. That unknown expert was simply too powerful. In the blink of an eye, he had taken away the Kunlun Mirror and separated his physical body from his primordial spirit.

What level of power is the opponent? A Grand Luo Golden Immortal, or a Primordial Grand Luo Golden Immortal?

"Judging from the long river of time, this is clearly a middle-thousand world, so how could there be a Primordial Grand Luo Golden Immortal?" Lei Ming couldn't understand it. Fortunately, the other party didn't seem to have any ill intentions.

"That powerful figure said he was only keeping my physical body and the Kunlun Mirror safe. Such a powerful person wouldn't lie to me. But he said this world doesn't have the laws of metal and wood, and that I should cultivate the rules of destruction and life. What does that mean?"

Lei Ming recalled the situation and still couldn't understand it. An hour later, Lei Ming fell into a deep sleep; after all, he had just woken up, and the body he was in was still that of a baby.

When Lei Ming woke up again, he was nursing, being held in two arms, struggling to break free. Looking at the men and women surrounding him, Lei Ming felt utterly helpless.

"Look at our little prince, he's so adorable!" A middle-aged man with blond hair and a burly build laughed heartily. Lei Ming's mother in this life, the queen, rolled her eyes at him.

"Keep your voice down, don't frighten the child," the Queen said.

The middle-aged man laughed and said, "How could the son of Clyde the Golden Lion be so timid?"

And so, Lei Ming gradually adapted to life as an infant, and six years passed in the blink of an eye.

"Prince Thunder, these are the books on magic and magic circles you requested." Ransom, accompanied by several people, placed hundreds of books into Thunder's study. He bowed slightly to Thunder, who nodded in response.

"Thank you for your hard work, Ransom. You can go back now." Lei Ming waved his hand and picked up a magic book.

Ransom bowed again, then led his men away.

"Prince Leiming possesses exceptional affinity for earth, water, and fire elements, and his mental strength is 50 times that of children his age. Such talent is among the best even in the entire Yulan Continent. Most importantly, Prince Leiming is extremely passionate about magic, which explains why His Majesty likes him so much. He has a high chance of growing into a Saint-level powerhouse in the future!" Ransom thought to himself as he closed the study door for Leiming.

After the others left, Lei Ming put down his book and sighed inwardly. He never expected that he would come to the world of "Panlong". Most importantly, he had become the son of Clyde of the Kingdom of Fenlai!

"The Church of Light, the God of War, the High Priest, the Four Ultimate Warriors... the Dark Forest, the Monster Mountain Range, the Sunset Mountain Range..."

Two years ago, Lei Ming had already heard this information and determined the world he was in. He also learned the identity of the person who attacked him that day—it must be Hongmeng. Knowing this, Lei Ming felt much more at ease. Hongmeng was undoubtedly powerful, capable of creating a world; he was at least a Hunyuan Daluo Golden Immortal. Most importantly, Hongmeng was lonely; he hoped to see someone grow to his level. For those whose fate was unpredictable, Hongmeng would not only not suppress them, but would also lend a helping hand. From this perspective, Lei Ming's safety was not in question.

Lei Ming's only worry right now is the Kunlun Mirror. Without it, he won't be able to return to the Primordial World. But there's no point in dwelling on these issues, so he simply stops thinking about them.

Lei Ming now has another problem to worry about: his identity. Clyde is one of Linley's mother's killers, and once Linley grows up, he certainly won't let him go.

Given Linley's character, he wouldn't indiscriminately kill innocent people, even if he was Clyde's son. However, Clyde had treated Leiming well, and Leiming couldn't just stand by and watch him be killed by Linley.

"This is a real headache." Lei Ming smiled wryly. If he had no other choice, he really didn't want to be enemies with Lin Lei, who was a powerful figure who had transcended the mortal realm in just tens of thousands of years! If he really became enemies with Lin Lei, Lei Ming could forget about returning to the prehistoric world.

As for killing Lin Lei now, Lei Ming hadn't even considered it. Lin Lei was currently just the son of a fallen nobleman, no match for the power Lei Ming controlled. But Lin Lei was a man of unpredictable fate, possessing great fortune; such a person was very difficult to kill. And if he failed to silence him, Lei Ming would truly be locked in a life-or-death struggle with Lin Lei.

"We should try to resolve this hatred. After all, Linley's mother is not really dead, and the culprit is the Church of Light, Augusta."

Just as Lei Ming was pondering how to resolve his hatred for Lin Lei, a burly warrior led a little boy into Fenlai City. The boy walked along Champs-Élysées, the main street of the eastern city, looking around with wide eyes. A little mouse peeked out from under his clothes, extremely excited.

"Quiet." The little boy gently patted the little mouse.

A few hundred meters from the city gate, a small vendor casually watched the little boy. After the boy passed by, the vendor's lips moved slightly. Suddenly, a shadow vanished from the corner of the wall beside him.

A dozen minutes later, Lei Ming learned that Lin Lei had entered the city.

"It seems that Lin Lei's legendary journey is about to begin, and I need to take action as well."

Ever since he learned that he had entered the world of "Panlong," Lei Ming had people keep an eye on the Baruch family. To Lei Ming's surprise, he was born in the same year as Lin Lei, but a month younger.

Lei Ming never disturbed Linley. He also sent people to the Baruch family's ancestral home to search for the Azure Dragon Ring, but to no avail. When the God-Eating Rat Bebe was born, Lei Ming also tried to intercept Linley and take Bebe away. Unfortunately, the level seven warriors he sent couldn't find Bebe at all, and in the end, Bebe voluntarily formed a contract with Linley.

All of this left Lei Ming feeling utterly helpless; he knew it was the power of fate.

After that, Lei Ming stopped actively interfering with Lin Lei's trajectory and didn't send anyone to monitor him. Lei Ming knew that the Azure Dragon Ring on Lin Lei's body contained the soul of a Saint-level mage. Even if the other party was only a soul, his mental power was still extremely strong, and nothing below the Saint-level could hide from him.

Lei Ming cleared his mind of distractions, read books for an afternoon, and then began cultivating his battle qi.

As a prince of the Kingdom of Fenlai, Lei Ming had a higher starting point than many others, possessing both magical spells and martial arts techniques. For Lei Ming, cultivating martial arts techniques was a choice made out of necessity. He also wanted to cultivate the "Five Emperors' Divine Demon Scripture," but due to the different laws of the world, the "Five Emperors' Divine Demon Scripture" was truly uncultivable. At first, Lei Ming didn't believe it, but after two years of fruitless effort, he finally gave up.

Compared to the *Five Emperors and Gods Scripture*, the battle qi cultivation method was undoubtedly much cruder, but its effects were still quite good. The battle qi that Lei Ming was following was the golden battle qi passed down to him by Clyde. This technique was of the earth attribute and its power was much stronger than ordinary battle qi cultivation methods. Lei Ming's body had very high aptitude; after only half a year of cultivation, he had already reached the level of a second-level warrior.
