Chapter 90 Hetu Luoshu

A thousand years.

Human tribes, Fuxi tribe.

Fuxi was born. As one of the Three Sovereigns, Fuxi was born with extraordinary signs, and countless auspicious omens appeared in the heavens and earth. After reaching adulthood, he became the leader of this human tribe and renamed it the Fuxi Tribe.

"Teacher!!" Fuxi arrived at the outside of a thatched hut and addressed the person inside.

A figure walked out from inside—Xuan Du!

Lao Tzu's eldest disciple, Xuandu, had no intention of becoming the teacher of the Human Emperor after the loss of human fortune. As for merit, his disciple could earn it.

Therefore, Xuandu became Fuxi's teacher and has lived here for a hundred years.

Don't think that Xuandu is not powerful just because he is not famous. As Laozi's disciple, although Xuandu does not fight with others, his strength is actually quite formidable.

He is truly the senior disciple of the three teachings, which refer to the teachings of the Human Teaching, the Explanation Teaching, and the Intercepting Teaching.

Xuandu has been following Laozi for quite some time, and as Laozi's only personally taught disciple, Xuandu's strength has reached the peak of the Great Luo realm.

Don't think that the Great Luo is too low. In fact, in the current prehistoric world, there are only a few Quasi-Saints on the surface: Styx, Zhen Yuanzi, Randeng, and Kunpeng. There are only these four Quasi-Saints at present.

There are definitely more hidden ones, but those ancient beings never appear in the world, so there are only these four quasi-saints in the open.

Styx, Zhen Yuanzi, and Kunpeng are all veteran Quasi-Saints, needless to say, with Styx being the strongest among them.

As for Randeng, many people don't know that he was originally one of the three thousand guests in the Zixiao Palace, and can be said to be a contemporary of the Three Pure Ones.

However, after the establishment of the Chan Sect, Randeng shamelessly became a disciple of Yuanshi Tianzun, but Yuanshi Tianzun took it into consideration that Randeng was also one of the three thousand guests in Zixiao Palace.

He accepted Randeng as his disciple, but due to the issue of seniority, Yuanzhi appointed Randeng as the vice leader of the Chan Sect.

Later, during the Investiture of the Gods, this guy led the people of the Chan Sect to defect to the Western Sect and even became one of the ancient Buddhas of Buddhism, Dipankara Buddha.

But let's get back to the present.

Now, Xuandu came to the human race to reform Fuxi because of Laozi's order, and became the teacher of the Heavenly Emperor. Isn't this all so that Xuandu can gain merit and break through to the Quasi-Saint level?

As Lao Tzu's disciple, Xuan Du's own spiritual treasures are certainly not bad; what he lacks to break through to the Quasi-Saint level is some fortuitous opportunities.

Now that he has become the teacher of the Human Emperor, as long as the matter is resolved successfully, Xuan Du will have no problem breaking through to the Quasi-Saint realm.

"Disciple, what brings you here?" Xuandu was very satisfied with his disciple Fuxi, knowing that his disciple's status was unimaginably noble. He was the reincarnation of the innate god Fuyi, and now he was about to become the human emperor. His status was so noble that it was a rare existence in the entire prehistoric world.

"I have been thinking that humans do not understand the timing of the seasons or the advantages of the terrain. If we could predict dangers, then humans would avoid many dangers. Please teach me, Master," Fuxi said to Xuandu.

When Xuandu heard Fuxi's words, he realized that what Fuxi said was not simple. As a Great Luo Immortal, Xuandu could naturally deduce the secrets of heaven, but that was not suitable for the human race and could not be popularized among them.

Deducing the secrets of heaven is something that only those with great supernatural powers can do. What does it mean to be a person with great supernatural powers? Only those who have become Golden Immortals are qualified to be called people with great supernatural powers.

It is impossible to deduce the secrets of heaven without becoming a Golden Immortal.

"My disciple, I cannot help you with this matter. You need to leave the Fuxi tribe and visit the various human tribes. Perhaps you can find the answer you are looking for there."

"You have been born in the Fuxi tribe for twenty years. It's time for you to go out and travel to broaden your horizons," Xuandu said to Fuxi.

"I see. Master is absolutely right. I will take my leave now." Fuxi said slowly, then bowed to Xuandu. Xuandu turned to the side, not daring to truly accept the bow.

After all, Xuandu could not bear the weight of Fuxi's noble status and could only turn to the side, not daring to face him directly.

This is a matter of innate position, something Xuandu couldn't possibly be unaware of.

After Fuxi left, Xuandu got up and returned to Shouyang Mountain.

What Fuxi said was the key to his becoming the Human Emperor. He deduced the Eight Trigrams of the Primordial Era, then spread the teachings to the human race, thus becoming the Human Emperor. From then on, the human race had the ability to foresee good fortune and avoid misfortune.

However, we still need something to help Fuxi.

The Hetu and Luoshu!

This was also the object of Fuxi's enlightenment. Although it belonged to Dijun, Dijun died, and the Hetu and Luoshu were taken away by Kunpeng. However, since this was destined to be Fuxi's, it was useless for Kunpeng to take it away.

Xuandu returned to Shouyang Mountain because of this.

He's only at the Great Luo Realm. Going to Kunpeng to ask for the River Chart and Luo Book is just courting death, isn't it?

Kunpeng is not an easy creature to get along with. Before becoming the master of the demon race, Kunpeng was a notorious and fierce person in the prehistoric world.

Kunpeng's ferocity is well-known throughout the prehistoric world.

Therefore, Xuandu returned to Shouyang Mountain to seek reinforcements.

Laozi also learned the purpose of Xuandu's return.

"This matter should be left to your Aunt Nuwa. It concerns both the human race and the demon race. What is the most important thing for you, Aunt Nuwa, to do?" Laozi said to Xuandu.

Xuan Du nodded and then headed to the Nuwa Palace.

"Xuandu greets Martial Aunt Nuwa," Xuandu said, bowing to Nuwa.

"What brings you here?" Nuwa asked Xuandu slowly.

"Uncle Nuwa, I have come here because of Fuxi. Fuxi wants to attain enlightenment, but he lacks magical treasures. The Hetu and Luoshu are currently in the hands of the Kunpeng of the Northern Sea, and I have no way to help him. Therefore, I have come to ask for help from Uncle Nuwa," Xuandu said to Nuwa.

Hearing Xuandu's words, Nuwa understood that Xuandu had come under Laozi's guidance, but it was indeed more appropriate for her to handle this matter.

"I understand now, you may go back," Nuwa said to Xuandu.

"In that case, Xuandu will take his leave." Xuandu said, and then left the Nuwa Palace.

Nuwa's eyes held a hint of contemplation. The Hetu and Luoshu were taken away by Kunpeng during the war between the Lich King and the Demon King, and now they concerned her brother's path to enlightenment.

Having thought this through, Nuwa no longer hesitated.

An ancient banner appeared in Nuwa's hand, covered with twisted green patterns—demonic markings!

The Demon-Summoning Banner is a supreme treasure of the demon race. Although it is a primordial spiritual treasure, it can command all demons in the world, including Kunpeng.

"Kunpeng has come to see me!!" Nuwa waved her demon-summoning banner.

The primordial northern sea.

A gigantic fish, whose size was unknown, emerged from the Northern Sea and then transformed into a terrifying ferocious beast!

Kunpeng!!!

Kunpeng was powerless against the command of the Demon-Summoning Banner. A wisp of his natal soul was suppressed on it. It could be said that Nuwa could decide Kunpeng's life or death in an instant.

Kunpeng appeared in Nuwa's palace, his face gloomy.

He knew what was going to happen as soon as he arrived here. After all, he had taken the Hetu and Luoshu back and hadn't been able to refine them even after tens of thousands of years. It wasn't that Kunpeng's strength was lacking.

Rather, the spirit treasure chooses its master; in his hands, the Hetu and Luoshu are no different from two stone tablets.
