Chapter 505, Part 502: Umaru's Big Plan

"Why should we agree to the wizards' request to train their foals, Ferenczek?"

Baine, a centaur with a thick beard and wild, unruly red hair, angrily questioned another centaur.

Ferenze was a rare centaur who was both calm and intelligent, and he patiently explained his question to Bain.

"The wizards are very strong, Bane."

Even this Forbidden Forest where we live doesn't officially belong to us, but to the wizards of Hogwarts. We are now essentially living under someone else's roof.

Fortunately, Dumbledore is a good neighbor; as the headmaster of Hogwarts, we don't have to worry about our living conditions.

We will continue to live here, but Dumbledore will grow old one day. If the headmaster of Hogwarts is replaced by someone else, we cannot guarantee that he will continue to be tolerant and generous towards us who live here.

Therefore, we must do our best to maintain relations with the wizarding government, just like this time, so that at least the centaurs and wizards have a channel of communication.

But Bain clearly didn't understand his good intentions. He looked at Ferenze coldly.

"You're trying to curry favor with the wizards! Why should we maintain relations with them? This is our home. Why should we have to depend on others when we live in our own home?"

"The peaceful life has made you forget the painful past. Where is our true home? It was destroyed by that person decades ago. It was Dumbledore who chose a place for us in the Forbidden Forest so that we could live here!"

"The wizards destroyed our homes, then pretended to find us a new place to live, drove us to this area, and now they expect us to fawn over them?"

"You need to distinguish between good and bad wizards. Who destroyed our home? And who let us live here?"

"No matter what kind of wizard they are, they are just domesticating us! They're making us lose our fighting spirit as centaurs, ultimately turning us into livestock, riding on our backs, and making us their slaves!"

The centaurs around them were used to their quarrel. As the two leaders of the militant and peace factions in the centaur tribe, Ferenze and Bain had been arguing for quite some time.

Just as they were about to continue arguing, a horseman suddenly ran over in a panic to report to the leader.

"A wizard's colt has gone missing!"

Ferenze frowned as he followed the centaur to the place where the wizard's foal was bound.

They discovered that the tree where Umaru was originally tied was gone, and the rope had loosened and fallen to the ground.

"She didn't break free of the ropes, so how did she get away?"

"That's what the centaurs guarding the area said."

"No one noticed; she vanished in an instant."

Ferenze paced his hooves uneasily and gave commands to the centaurs around him.

"Go find that wizard's colt. We can't let her run around in the Forbidden Forest. If something happens to her, we'll be in trouble."

If Umaru's disappearance was simply due to her running away, then things are easy to handle; we just need to find her among the neighbors.

Even Hagrid wasn't as familiar with the surroundings as the centaurs were with this forest.

But Ferenze feared things weren't that simple. After all, it was just a second-year pony. How could it possibly escape from so many centaurs?

He worried that someone else had intervened and kidnapped the foal.

If such a thing really happens and the person is never found, then what should have been a good thing—establishing contact and communication with the wizard—will turn into a bad thing.

Just as the centaurs began to scatter and search for Umaru, a white hamster was secretly observing the situation below from the canopy of the tree where Umaru had been tied.

Of course, Umaru wouldn't be content with just running away herself; it would be too embarrassing for her to slink away alone.

If she's going to do something, she's going to do something big. She plans to take everyone who's tied up here out!

At this time, the other young wizards who had been kidnapped by the centaurs also woke up from the stun spell. Fleur's sister, Gabriel, was also a beautiful little girl with merman blood.

Her mouth was gagged, and she opened her eyes blankly, looking around.

And the little boy, who must be Aniston's brother, was also fidgeting nervously, his voice choked with sobs, trying to struggle to escape from the tree.

The friend from Durmstrangerkrum, however, reacted much more strongly.

The older students had long been exposed to silent spellcasting, but he didn't have a wand in his hand at the moment.

Casting spells silently and without a staff is a top-level magical skill that he cannot yet master.

But he still managed to spit out the strip of cloth stuffed in his mouth and shouted curses at the centaurs.

"You beasts! How dare you kidnap a wizard! Are you trying to start a war with wizards? You'd better release me now, or you won't be able to bear the consequences! There are Ministry of Magic officials and four headmasters at Hogwarts right now, and you dare to kidnap a student so brazenly! You're ignorant and reckless, courting death!"

His shouting was loud and offensive, quickly attracting the attention of Bain, who was already in a bad mood, not far away.

Bain stomped his feet, his face grim, and walked up to the boy, kicking him in the stomach without hesitation.

"I'm warning you, Colt! Don't say such things in front of centaurs, or I can't guarantee your safety. Even if Ferenze and the others protect you, I'll still chop your chest to pieces!"

The male wizard felt his stomach churning from the kick, and he stretched his neck and gagged, almost vomiting up his bile.

Bain was also stopped by the other centaurs guarding the area. They were genuinely afraid that their hot-tempered tribesman might kick the wizards' foals to death.

After Durmstrang's male wizard was hit again, he became docile.

Tied to a tree, he glared at the centaurs with resentment, but dared not utter another word.

Meanwhile, Little Buri, perched in the tree, had already set her sights on her first target: the Durmstrang wizard.

Aniston's brother and Fleur's sister Gabrielle are both too young, not even old enough to attend magic school, so they can't help Umaru.

Therefore, of the three people who are currently tied up, he is the only one who can fight.
