My Hogwarts has a serious problem.

Chapter 489, Section 486: Private Interview

The person in charge of testing the wands was, of course, Mr. Ollivander, who had already taken control of the entire British wand market.

Interestingly, none of the four people he was testing had their wands purchased from him; instead, Krum and Lynn's wands were made by his old rival, Gregorovich.

The wand testing didn't take long; Ollivander quickly confirmed that everyone's wands were normal and undamaged.

After posing for a photo with the four wizards and the headmaster of the magic school, along with two judges from the Ministry of Magic, Lynn took Skeeter to his student council president's office, announcing that they were going to conduct a solo interview.

But once she arrived at Lynn's office, Skeeter seemed quite uneasy; she could clearly sense something was wrong from Lynn's smile.

Lynn looked at her and didn't waste any words, but directly offered generous terms.

"Ms. Skeeter, would you like to advance further in the Daily Prophet? Or rather, achieve a higher position than you currently hold?"

Skeeter felt a chill run down her spine; this was the first time Lynn had so bluntly told her that he could control her position.

At the same time, Skeeter clearly realized that this might be a wonderful opportunity for her.

Lynn looked at her meaningfully: "I know you are an illegal Animagus, and the animal you transformed into is a beetle. A lot of the sensational news you have is what you overheard by disguising yourself as a beetle."

"Bang!"

Skeeter looked at him in horror, and hurriedly stood up from her chair, causing the chair beneath her to fall over in her panic.

She could no longer look Lynn in the eye; the boy in front of her was terrifying, as if he could see right through her, inside and out.

She had never told anyone that she was an Animagus, not even her closest relatives.

Skitgen had no idea how Lynn had learned about this, or even that his transformed animal was a beetle.

"Don't be afraid," Lynn said softly, "I didn't use Legilimency, nor did I specifically seek to know your secrets. It's just that sometimes I know things that others don't."

Skeeter, of course, did not know that Lynn's words meant that he had read the entire script of the play. Instead, he thought that Lynn was admitting that his prophetic talent had greatly improved and that he had seen all her secrets.

She looked at Lynn cautiously: "What do you want me to do?"

Lynn stared at her with a serious expression.

"I need you to keep an eye on someone for me, but this person is extremely dangerous. If he discovers you, you could very well lose your life. So you need to think carefully before agreeing to do this. If you're willing to take that risk, I can promise you'll be the boss of the Daily Prophet in the future."

Skeeter looked away at Lynn: "What if I don't want to take that risk?"

Lynn shrugged and casually said, "Of course I won't do anything to you, but I guess you'll have to find a new job, Ms. Skeeter. Perhaps a job in Azkaban would be quite nice."

This blatant threat made Skeeter's face turn pale. She could tell, of course, that Lynn wasn't joking with her, and she knew perfectly well that he had the ability to do so.

She had no choice in this matter. Agreeing to Lynn and working for him was her only way out.

Such threats put Skittleyon under no psychological pressure. He didn't change his opinion of her as a good person despite her relentless flattery.

Whether judging from the original work or her current behavior, Rita Skeeter is a thoroughly opportunistic and unscrupulous person who will stop at nothing to gain attention and fame.

In the end, Skeeter left Lynn's office looking dejected, as if he had lost something extremely important.

Before the first competition began, the atmosphere at Hogwarts was very peaceful, and the young wizards in the castle continued their classes as usual.

For most people, the three-way battle for supremacy is of no concern whatsoever.

Before the match officially began, Lynn found Hagrid.

"I haven't thanked you yet for helping me with the Malfoy thing last semester."

In Hagrid's hut by the Forbidden Forest, Lynn held the tea Hagrid had handed him and took a small sip.

"Don't worry about it, it was just a small favor. The Malfoy family lost power later on, so even if I hadn't helped them, they wouldn't have done anything to you. But you really should consider whether some magical creatures are suitable for classroom teaching while you're taking the Magical Creatures Protection class."

"You're right. The current blasting snails are perfect for classroom teaching," Hagrid said confidently.

He clearly didn't understand what "suitable" meant. This was suitable for him, but it was obviously inappropriate for the students. However, Lynn hadn't come here to teach Hagrid how to conduct classes. After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Lynn asked indirectly.

Have any large, magical animals migrated into the Forbidden Forest recently?

Hagrid, seemingly oblivious to Lynn's deeper meaning, spoke casually.

"It's not the season for magical creatures to migrate yet. We'll have to wait until the weather gets colder, at which point many magical creature species that are not usually seen in the Forbidden Forest will appear."

Seeing his oblivious nature, Lynn decided to stop hiding her feelings and asked directly.

"Have any more dragons appeared in the Forbidden Forest recently?"

Hagrid was a bit thick-skinned, but not really stupid. He was taken aback at first, but then he understood what Lynn meant.

"You're asking me about the Triwizard Tournament, aren't you?" he said with a wink and a smile.

Lynn naturally didn't deny it, nodding and saying, "I heard the first competition event is related to dragons."

Hagrid looked smug, his vanity greatly satisfied that even someone like Lynn had to come to him for information.

"I don't know where you got this information from, but initially, they did plan to use dragons as the first competition item. However, the Ifamoni Magic Academy unexpectedly joined in, which gave them a better option later."

As Hagrid spoke, his eyes began to flicker, and his expression became inexplicably somber.

"They contacted a group of even larger beings and reached an agreement with them, so the dragon option was temporarily replaced by something else. But you don't need to worry about it, Lynn. Whether it's a dragon or something else, it shouldn't be a problem for you, because even if it's terrifying, it won't be as scary as the basilisk back then."

Like the other students at Hogwarts, Hagrid had great confidence in Lynn, having witnessed his true strength firsthand.
