My Hogwarts has a serious problem.

Chapter 485, Section 482: Insomniac Elderly and Young People with Bad Ideas

"It seems that the headmasters who have come to Hogwarts are not ordinary people. One has ulterior motives, one is a former Death Eater, and another is a wizard whose appearance alone shows that he is not an ordinary wizard."

Fox shook his head and sighed.

Dumbledore said, "It doesn't really matter to us what their identities are, whether they are Death Eaters or something else. As long as the game is played according to the rules, no one will do anything to them. But we are afraid of people with ulterior motives."

Lynn shrugged and looked at Dumbledore: "Have you set up the age spells around the Goblet of Fire, Professor?"

"It's a simple little spell, not complicated at all, and it's already working."

Lynn glanced at Dumbledore, then at Fawkes, and said with a meaningful smile.

"Tonight, there will probably be many people who don't want others to see them throwing their names into cups during the day, so they'll take advantage of the night to do so."

The three pairs of eyes met, and all narrowed their eyes into slits.

"Professors, are you interested in these students?" Lynn asked.

"As people get older, they tend to have trouble sleeping at night," Dumbledore sighed. "Since you can't sleep, it's good to find something to do."

Fox shrugged: "I'm not young anymore, and I have severe insomnia."

So, as night deepened, the young wizards returned to their rooms to sleep, and a curfew was imposed on the castle.

Two insomniac elderly men and Lynn, a young man full of bad ideas, crept down into the auditorium and quietly looked at the wooden goblet on the high platform, which was flickering with blue and white flames.

Just as midnight struck, the auditorium doors creaked open from the outside.

A furtive figure cautiously slipped in, then successfully passed the age restriction spell drawn by Dumbledore, and threw the parchment with the name and school written on it into the Goblet of Fire.

In the dim light, no one could see his face clearly, but it was obvious that he was wearing a dark green robe.

Currently, there is only one school in Hogwarts where the school uniform is dark green. Whose student is this person? Lynn and his two companions, who witnessed this scene from the shadows, all knew the answer perfectly well.

The night was deep, but it passed quickly.

The next morning, countless young wizards who hadn't slept well all night arrived early at the Great Hall to eat breakfast and see who would be participating in the warrior election.

George and Fried confidently took their own specially developed age-enhancing potion, adding several months to their age, exceeding the prescribed 17-year-old limit, and then attempted to jump into the circle drawn by Dumbledore like diving athletes.

However, just when they thought they had succeeded and were about to throw the parchment with their names on it into the Goblet of Fire, a sudden force sent them both flying, crashing heavily onto the floor of the auditorium.

At the same time, both of them grew thick white beards on their chins, making them look so comical that the students in the auditorium burst into laughter. Even George and Fried themselves laughed when they looked at each other.

The magic used by Dumbledore was clearly not something these young wizards could fool with their tricks. The students who went to the Goblet of Fire and threw their names in were all of the age standard.

Lynn spent the entire day in the Great Hall, with Hermione sitting beside him. It wasn't until an hour before the banquet began that he finally knew what he wanted to know.

"A total of 23 students from Iphamoni came, but only 22 of them actually put their names in."

Hermione heard Lynn's words and picked up a piece of parchment; she was the one who always kept the records.

"If the data you gave me this morning is correct, then only 22 people have thrown their names into the Goblet of Fire today, and one person still hasn't shown up."

Lynn shook his head and spoke.

"No, he actually arrived a long time ago, but he registered very discreetly, throwing his name in late last night."

Hermione looked puzzled.

"He came in the middle of the night? Why would he do that? Is it something shameful?"

Lynn chuckled softly.

"If it's just a regular registration, there's nothing shameful about it."

Lynn didn't tell Hermione much about anything else; he didn't want her involved in these dangerous matters.

By 5 p.m., the sky outside had gradually darkened, and a damp, cold drizzle began to fall.

Harry and Ron had just returned to the castle from Hagrid's hut, and they were trying to get information out of Hagrid about the Triwizard Tournament events and who might become Hogwarts champions.

However, Hagrid kept his mouth shut this time, refusing to reveal a single word to them. It also seemed that he had taken a liking to Mrs. Maxime, the principal of Beauxbatons, and had even groomed his hair, shaved his beard, and sprayed himself with cologne!

This greatly frustrated Harry and Ron, who thought Hagrid had become a lovestruck fool.

Students from the four schools reunited in the auditorium tonight, taking their seats at long tables as they awaited the start of dinner.

The Halloween dinner seemed to last much longer than usual, perhaps because with two consecutive days of banquets, the students didn't seem to enjoy the elaborately prepared dishes as much as they usually do.

The people in the hall kept craning their necks to look, and every face showed anxiety. Everyone was restless and kept standing up to see if Dumbledore had finished eating.

Harry, like them, couldn't wait to finish what was on his plate so he could find out who had been chosen as a champion.

Finally, the golden plate returned to its original spotless state, and the noise in the auditorium suddenly rose considerably.

Dumbledore immediately stood up, and the Great Hall fell silent once more. Karkaroff and Mrs. Maxim, flanking him, looked just as nervous and expectant as everyone else, while Mrs. Piccolo remained expressionless, making it impossible to discern her inner emotions.

Ludo Bagman grinned and winked at the students from various schools, while Mr. Crouch looked dejected, almost indifferent to the event.

"Alright, time is almost up. In one minute, the Goblet of Fire will spit out the note that it has chosen the champion," Dumbledore said, looking at the expectant students in the Great Hall. "After the champion's name is announced, I want them to walk to the front of the Great Hall, then along the faculty desk, and into the room next door, where they will receive their initial guidance."
