My Hogwarts has a serious problem.

Chapter 475, Section 472: The Pensieve

"Dark magic is a spell that the Ministry of Magic explicitly forbids wizards from using on humans. Only in special circumstances will the Ministry grant Aurors the authority to use dark magic in retaliation when hunting down the most vicious criminals. The most recent instance of the lifting of the ban on dark magic for Aurors occurred in the first half of this year, when Auror Supervisor Phillips Lyon led the Aurors to capture all the dark wizards who had escaped from Azkaban."

Moody told them about the taboos of black magic.

"Therefore, to avoid any unpleasant consequences, I do not intend to use these unforgivable spells in front of you, not even on people, but only on small animals used for spell experiments. So how can I let you witness these dark magics from an observer's perspective without getting hurt? The Pensieve is a good choice."

After explaining the teaching method to be used in this lesson, Moody glanced at all the young wizards below.

"So, who's brave enough to try it first?"

The students below were completely silent, as if their tongues had been gagged and their throats were locked. For a long time, no one raised their hand to respond to Moody.

Moody frowned and shook his head.

"You can't do it like this. If you were a Gryffindor student in my school days, you would all be rushing to the podium like you're on steroids."

As he spoke, he picked up the roster.

"Since no one is willing to volunteer, I'll take attendance myself."

Moody looked at the names on the roster and finally called out.

"Neville Longbottom, you're the one. I know your parents and admire them greatly. I believe you must be a brave man."

But Neville did not show the bravery that Moody had expected.

With a long face, he dared not refuse the professor's words, stood up from his seat, and slowly moved towards the podium.

But Moody was clearly not going to give him a chance to stall for time, grabbing his arm and pulling him to the front of the stage.

"Come here quickly, child. Everyone else will have to experience this just like you. We don't have much time."

Neville stood in front of the podium, half-coerced. He was so frightened that his face turned pale, and he stammered, "What do you mean?"

"Will the process be very painful, Professor?"

"You are merely observing a scene from a memory. It's just observation. The people and events within it will not cause you any harm. So feel free to lower your head and bury your face in the basin."

Neville stared at the silvery substance floating in the stone basin, unable to bring himself to bury his head in it.

Just as Moody's face showed impatience, as if he was about to offer him a little help, Neville finally closed his eyes and resolutely buried his face in the stone basin.

Suddenly, the entire Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom tilted over, and Neville felt himself being thrown forward, headfirst into the basin!

But his hair didn't hit the bottom of the basin. He fell into a cold, dark substance, as if he were sucked into a black vortex, and finally fell from the sky onto a damp grass.

Neville hugged his arms tightly in fear and looked around.

He was now in a dark forest, with a pitch-black sky above and tall bushes all around him.

It looks like it rained recently; the ground is damp, and there are sticky mud puddles everywhere.

"He's here."

A familiar voice suddenly rang out behind Neville, startling him so much that he trembled and immediately turned around.

But there was no one behind him, only a thicket of bushes growing wildly.

Neville called out in a trembling voice.

"Professor Moody? Is that you?"

However, no one answered his question; only the rustling of leaves in the damp, cold night wind could be heard.

Just then, a faint glowing light gradually approached Nawi's direction from the depths of the forest.

When the glowing light was less than twenty meters away from Neville, he realized that it was two wizards dressed in black robes.

"Greetings, gentlemen. Do you know where this is?" Neville swallowed hard, wanting to understand the current situation from the two wizards.

But the two wizards seemed not to see him at all, passing right through his body and stopping in front of the bushes.

Neville stared in astonishment at all this, but the two wizards who came later seemed to be arguing.

"Is this the place, Charlie?"

"You have to give me that thing first before I can tell you how to find it here!"

"You have no bargaining power with me, Charlie!"

"Then just kill me! If you kill me, you'll never get it!"

"You think I wouldn't dare!"

"Then come on! Use a spell on me!"

"The soul leaves the body!"

Under Neville's horrified gaze, one of the wizards was truly enraged. He cast a spell on his companion, and the man's eyes immediately went glazed over.

"You forced me to do this! You forced me to do this!" The person who used the spell was breathing heavily, as if he had done nothing but also as if he had given some kind of command to the person under the spell.

The man with a blank expression knelt on the ground like a puppet, humbly licking the muddy boots of another wizard.

"Arrogant Charlie, now you finally can't yell at me anymore, can you? Go, get that thing out of me!"

However, before the wizard could finish speaking, two bright red spells suddenly shot out from the bushes behind Neville.

The spell pierced through Neville's body and struck the two wizards precisely.

The Stunning Curse worked; the two wizards who arrived later collapsed to the ground, powerless. Behind Neville, Moody and another dark-skinned wizard with a gold earring appeared without warning.

"The plan is going very well, Kingsley." Moody walked past Neville.

"Now we can add another charge against him: illegally using an unforgivable curse on a person." Kingsley followed behind him, heading towards the two wizards lying on the ground.

"After we send them both back to the ministry, we can go to the bar and have a good drink."

Just as they were grabbing the two wizards from the ground and talking to them as they prepared to leave, a sudden burst of dazzling fire erupted between Moody and Kingsley!

Neville heard only an angry roar and the sound of an unknown incantation before the scene around him quietly turned into wisps of gray mist that dispersed and disappeared.

In the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, Neville abruptly lifted his head from the Pensieve, breathing heavily, and looked at the young wizards staring at him as if from another world.
