My Hogwarts has a serious problem.

Chapter 463, Section 460: Suicide

"If we hadn't had different positions, we might actually have become friends, Adrian."

Despite being held hostage by Lynn, O'Brien showed no sign of panic and calmly addressed Fox.

Fox looked at him and sneered.

"Is your way of treating a friend to the point of planning to kill him, then impersonate him to deceive his students and kill him as well?"

"I've already said, we just have different positions." O'Brien turned his gaze to Lynn, "Just because of you, my student."

"My student? He's my pride! I'm so lucky to have a student like him in my life. If it weren't for Lynn, I would have died in the Forbidden Forest at Hogwarts four years ago."

"Do you know his family background? Do you know what his real surname is?"

O'Brien, in front of Lynn, made no attempt to sow discord.

However, Fox shrugged.

"Of course I know who his great-uncle is. Isn't it Grindelwald, who once made a mess of your American wizarding world?"

Lynn looked at Fox with surprise. He had always thought that Fox did not know his identity, but he did not expect that Fox had known all along.

Facing Lynn's gaze, Fox said casually.

"Dumbledore told me about your situation back when I was still teaching at Hogwarts. But you are you, and Grindelwald is Grindelwald; I won't lump you two together."

Fox's parents were once saints under Grindelwald.

But it was because of this incident that he fell out with his parents, and ultimately, in order to support Grindelwald's cause, his parents died young.

So, Fox actually didn't have a good impression of Grindelwald.

Lynn had considered talking to Fox about it, but the two hadn't seen each other since they parted ways in their first year, so they hadn't found a suitable opportunity.

It turned out that he had known about these things in advance from Dumbledore.

Hermione, however, widened her eyes upon hearing this.

She had met Kira at Lynn's house before, so she knew that Lynn's background was not ordinary and that he should be descended from an ancient wizarding family.

But she never imagined that he was a descendant of Grindelwald, the first Dark Lord, who was famous in the early 20th century.

Hermione reads quite a lot of books, so she naturally knows very well who Grindelwald is and what kind of reputation he has in the wizarding world.

Lynn noticed Hermione's expression and whispered something.

"I'll tell you about these things when we get home."

Hermione nodded obediently.

Although sowing discord had no effect, O'Brien showed no sign of stopping.

"Since you know this boy is that man's descendant, you should naturally understand why Congress is going to such lengths to hunt him down. Every single thing that man did on American soil has been remembered by every American wizard. As long as one member of that family remains alive in this world, it's like slapping every American wizard in the face!"

Fox looked at him with a cold smile.

"I'm afraid things aren't as simple as you say. Even if Lynn is related to Grindelwald, you wouldn't make such a big show of it. After all, he's only in fifth grade this year."

"Fifth grade? Do you think this boy's displayed abilities are what you'd expect from a fifth-grade student at a magic school?"

Upon hearing O'Brien's words, Lynn turned and glared at him.

"What? Did I eat your American rice because I'm so powerful? What did I do to you?"

O'Brien smiled slightly but did not answer Lynn's question.

He was unwilling to talk, and Lynn and Fox did not force him at all. Anyway, the man was in their hands now. After they left the island, they could cast spells and force-feed him drugs as they pleased.

They flew towards the ocean in the sky above the island.

The anti-Apparition magic set up by the American Aurors has a very large range; even outside the island, the magic remains within its range.

The Aurors hung behind Lynn and his men, unhurried and seemingly unconcerned that they would take their leader away.

Lynn sensed something was wrong, and he frowned as he moved closer to Fox.

"Professor, something seems off. Why aren't they in a hurry?"

Fox frowned as he looked at O'Brien, who remained composed.

"You still have a backup plan?"

O'Brien said calmly.

"Fox, as I mentioned before, I actually admire you as a person, and I also admire your brilliant magical ideas. If you are willing to change your stance and join the Magical Congress of the United States, then we should become very good friends."

Fox rejected his offer without hesitation.

"impossible!"

"That's a real shame, but I'm very curious about the dark magic knowledge in your head. I really hope you're captured alive rather than killed."

The moment O'Brien finished speaking, a small box inside his wizard's robes suddenly opened a crack, as if it had received some kind of command.

A faint green light flew out of the box and stuck to his skin.

Lynn also sensed something was wrong at almost the same time.

He gripped O'Brien's body and tightened his grip quickly, while at the same time a tremendous force seemed to be wresting O'Brien's body from Lynn's grasp.

The force came so suddenly that Lynn almost lost his grip, allowing O'Brien to be taken away by it.

But he eventually realized what was happening and hugged him tightly.

Two immense forces clashed within O'Brien's body.

The outcome of the confrontation was quickly determined.

Neither Lynn nor that mysterious force won, yet both of them won.

Because O'Brien's body couldn't withstand their pulling force, he was forcibly torn in two from the middle!

Lynn was holding half of O'Brien's body, which was being dumped into the sea with various internal organs, while the other half was nowhere to be found.

Whether it was Lynn, Fox, or Hermione, they all stared blankly in mid-air at O'Brien's remaining half of his body.

Even the Aurors who had been hanging behind them not far away were all stunned.

None of them expected things to turn out this way.

O'Brien activated a small piece of the door key at last, but the door key couldn't be taken directly from Lynn's hand, or rather, it wasn't taken entirely.

It only took away half of his body, and his life.
