My Hogwarts has a serious problem.

Chapter 456, Section 453: The Mother Tiger

Lynn sat on the ground, stunned. His face was no longer calm and rigid, but filled with doubt and disbelief.

Hermione was now nestled in his arms, burying her face in his arms, as if belatedly realizing how bold her actions had been and feeling too ashamed to show her face.

Did he just confess his feelings like that?

Lynn looked completely bewildered. After Hermione's kiss, he had returned to normal and was unable to reconnect with the thought process of himself just a few seconds earlier.

Right there in this cave, with pursuers chasing them from outside and the ever-dutiful "Scepter" acting as a third wheel, he confessed his feelings to Hermione, his childhood sweetheart of over five years.

Lynn certainly didn't have amnesia; he remembered exactly what he had just said.

Lynn didn't lie in that state; he was even more honest than he was in his normal state.

Lynn's feelings are complicated right now.

To be honest, he really likes Hermione; there's no denying that.

Although he usually acts a bit like a straight man, he's not stupid and can tell from her daily behavior that Hermione actually likes him too.

But he really didn't plan to start dating so early.

Even after being reborn in England for so long, Lynn's thinking is still rather old-fashioned, just like in her previous life; one could even call it pretentious.

I always felt that Hermione was only 15 years old this year, which is the age of a middle school student who hasn't graduated yet. Lynn looks the same age as her, but in fact, considering his memories from his previous life, he should be of the same generation as Hermione's father.

This made Lynn's old-fashioned views on love feel a bit awkward. She felt like she wasn't a good person, and inexplicably felt guilty for being a creepy uncle who had abducted a minor girl.

But when faced with something that one subconsciously hopes will happen, but is too proud to admit, people will always find a way to justify accepting it.

Lynn quickly found a reason to dispel her guilt.

As Grindelwald said, he wasn't a time traveler; he was reborn.

He's a bright and promising 16-year-old contemporary youth, very young, it's just that when he was reborn, Meng Po was busy trimming her nails and forgot to give him soup.

So this isn't an old cow eating young grass; it's a childhood sweetheart relationship that has blossomed into marriage, a perfect match!

The reason she found was quite appropriate, and Lynn accepted the explanation with satisfaction. Then she happily scratched Hermione's smooth chestnut curls.

"Alright, alright, we've already kissed, what's there to be shy about? There's no one else here."

The scepter, which was still diligently digging a hole, shook its shovel tip in grievance. It turned out that in Lynn's mind, it didn't even count as a person.

Hermione looked up, staring at Lynn's expression with suspicion.

He had a smug look on his face.

"Are you back to normal?"

Lynn smiled at her, then made a face.

"Your expressions are so rich and your emotions so full; you've completely captivated me."

Hermione's face turned bright red, and she pinched the soft flesh on his arm: "That's really awful. What do you mean by 'sucking out the soul'?"

Suddenly her expression turned serious, and her gaze was like a knife as she stared at Lynn.

So, are you going to admit it now or not?

Lynn blinked, looking completely bewildered.

"What debt are you talking about? When did I ever owe you money?"

Hermione's eyes immediately reddened, as if she was about to cry.

"Don't play dumb with me! I'm asking you, now that you're back to normal, are you still going to admit to confessing your feelings to me just now?!"

Lynn shrugged.

"Those were words spoken by another version of myself; how can they represent the current me?"

Hearing his shameless words, Hermione's tears welled up and streamed down her face. She said in a tearful voice.

"Lynn, you scumbag!"

She struggled to stand up from Lynn's embrace, but Lynn held her tightly, still smiling and carefree.

"The person I was before is the person I am now, so the person I was before doesn't count. I have to say it again with the person I am now."

He stared intently into Hermione's tear-filled, stunned eyes and said with utmost seriousness.

"I like you, Hermione. Will you be my girlfriend?"

Hermione stopped struggling, at a loss. She stared blankly at Lynn, trying to keep her mouth pursed, but she couldn't bring herself to smile. In the end, she could only bury her face in Lynn's chest again, hiding her tearful smile, and punched his chest with her fists, her voice still trembling with sobs.

"You'll just bully me like this!"

Lynn pulled her out of his arms, then used his sleeve to wipe the snot and tears from her face, and asked with a smile.

"You don't like it? Then I'll take back what I just said? Let's pretend nothing happened?"

Hermione immediately threatened him with a fierce look in her red, tear-filled eyes.

"You dare!"

"No, no, you're a tigress who can eat people, how could I dare?"

Lynn raised his hands in surrender, saying he dared not, but his face was all smiles, showing no sign of fear whatsoever.

"Nonsense!"

"Where are you talking nonsense? Just a minute ago you were trying to bite my upper lip off."

"I, I, I had no experience."

Lynn and Hermione flirted and teased each other in the burrow for quite a while, which made the [Scepter] next to them get tired of watching and it went on strike, turning back into its iron bar state before Lynn and Hermione finally stopped.

Although ending her single life and confessing her feelings to Hermione was a cause for celebration, Lynn hadn't forgotten the situation they were in.

Now that his strength has been restored, he naturally won't continue to hide in this place.

Of course, Lynn was also arrogant enough to think he was strong enough to take on hundreds of people at once, but these wizards couldn't all be together all the time. If they wanted to find someone on the island, they would inevitably split into small teams of a few people each.

Lynn believed he had been living a quiet and law-abiding life at Hogwarts, without bothering anyone. Yet these people had unreasonably tricked him into coming here and were ready to kill him without a word.

Even a clay Buddha has some temper, let alone Lynn, who has always considered himself not to be a particularly magnanimous person.

They've driven him to the point where he has to dig a hole to save his life. Even if he doesn't like killing, he can't just let things go with these wizards on the island.

Lynn did not bring Hermione out with him, leaving her to remain hidden underground, and also leaving the scepter behind to protect her.

He then returned to the island, searching for his first goal.
