My Hogwarts has a serious problem.

Chapter 367, Section 364: You're hiding something from me.

The internal political system of the British Ministry of Magic is different from that of the Soviet Magic Council, which Lynn once went to cause trouble and disband.

The Aurors, the only armed force in the entire British wizarding world, do not possess real power. They are not even qualified to participate in the Ministry's core meetings, nor are they subject to the direct jurisdiction of the Minister of Magic. They are merely a third-tier department, belonging to the lowest level in terms of administrative hierarchy.

While the position of Auror Supervisor is important, it is not a key position in the eyes of politicians.

Even in the UK, Aurors must undergo professional training and assessment before they can join the position.

At Hogwarts, especially in Gryffindor, the ultimate dream of many young lions, including Harry Ron, is to become an Auror in the Ministry of Magic after graduating from school.

But the noble, pure-blooded gentlemen looked down on such a dangerous, tiring, and thankless job.

At most, they would extend an olive branch to the newly appointed head of the Auror Command, and then those Aurors of humble origins and without any background would obediently become their lackeys.

That's how it is, at least in the eyes of those pure-blooded men.

However, in the Magic Council of the Soviet Union, the head of the Auror is the most powerful position within their political system.

The Auror Director Ivanov, whom Lynn killed, could even participate directly in the highest-level meetings of the committee and take direct orders from the Supreme Committee, without being subject to the control of anyone else.

It can only be said that the two magical governments have different focuses.

The British wizarding world has been at peace since Voldemort's defeat, while the Soviet Union has been in constant turmoil until its eventual split.

The Aurors of the British Ministry of Magic only use powerful dark magic and the Unforgivable Curse in the most critical moments. When Ivanov and Lynn fought, they didn't have any such reservations. They used all kinds of dark magic at will, as skillfully as drinking water and eating.

With Lynn securing the position of Auror Commander, Fudge's subsequent assistance in dealing with the pure-blood families would be essentially a freebie.

Lynn's next move was to seize all of these families' assets in the UK and then coerce them into relinquishing their positions on the school board.

These people certainly won't just sit here and be at Lynn's mercy.

Their means of resistance were limited to two: either sabotaging him in secret or directly harming Old John.

This is virtually impossible to succeed.

The Lynn family's investment company has grown to such a large scale that they must have many enemies in the magical world. If just anyone could lay a hand on them, even if Old John had ten lives, it wouldn't be enough to kill him.

When underhanded methods failed, they had no choice but to resort to official means.

The laws governing magic are extremely flawed in the commercial sphere, and this situation is entirely intentional on the part of these pure-blood families.

But if one's own interests are harmed, then the law is not unchangeable.

If even a department head like Arthur Weasley can rewrite laws at will, then of course pure-blooded men can too.

One of the reasons Lynn met with Fudge today was to guard against this.

He needs Fudge's help to rewrite the laws governing pure-blood families from within the Ministry of Magic, and then completely eliminate the possibility of forcibly expelling Lynn's company from the British wizarding world.

So this is not only helping Fudge, but also helping Lynn herself.

Capitalists are all black-hearted and wicked, so he has to make many preparations to prevent himself from being caught off guard.

Old John brought Lynn a freshly grilled steak, cooked perfectly well-done to his liking.

"I will bring someone over tomorrow and hand him over to you. You will arrange a clean identity for him in England, and then do your best to support him. You will try your best to meet his needs. After he comes to London, he will find a way to become an Auror."

"Yes, young master. Would you like some grape juice?"

As a competent butler, Old John naturally knew that some things should be asked, and some things were best left unsaid; he simply needed to do as Lynn said.

"Tired of grape juice? How about a Coke?"

The next day, after finishing his business at the company, Lynn did not go straight back to Hogwarts. Instead, he went to Abloss again, visited the elderly people with some gifts, and then returned to the school.

Hogwarts has already started, and the young wizards are clearly still immersed in the joy of the holidays, having no idea about the weekend break. Once they have 13 consecutive days of classes, they will know how happy the holidays are and how painful the make-up classes are.

On her first day back at school, Hermione talked to Lynn about Ron's missing pet mouse, something Lynn had obviously expected.

It was something he had planned in advance to have Peter leave Hogwarts, but he certainly couldn't tell Hermione and the others about it directly.

"This isn't necessarily a bad thing," Lynn said casually.

Hermione stared at him.

"Are you hiding something from me?"

Lynn blinked. "Really?"

"You're definitely hiding something from me! You always have this look on your face when you do this," Hermione said confidently.

Lynn coughed a few times. He and Hermione had known each other for almost five years, and Hermione remembered all his little habits when he spoke. Sometimes it was really not that easy to hide things.

"Okay, I admit I've been hiding some things from you, but these things are too dangerous, and it wouldn't be a good thing for you to find out, so..."

"You shouldn't be in any danger, right? Like last semester?" Hermione asked with some concern.

Lynn comforted her, saying, "No, last semester was actually an accident. Even if this fails in the end, nothing will change, and I won't be directly involved, so there won't be any danger."

Hogwarts, on the other hand, continued to develop as usual.

As we entered late October, the weather gradually turned colder, and the daily running exercises organized by the Department of Culture and Sports finally began.

Every morning at 7:5, the young wizards from each grade would gather at the Quidditch pitch and jog five laps around the pitch.

Five laps may seem like a lot, but on a 400-meter track, that's a full 2000 meters.

But these clever little devils certainly didn't just start running; they all used the same tricks they used in sports meets, like levitation spells, shapeshifting, and all sorts of other weird and wonderful things.

The student council does not prohibit these activities, but there is only one requirement: every student must personally take the initiative to run.

George and Fried were once caught using roller skates by pulling out the soles of their shoes, and were penalized 5 points for roller skating while running.

Since the start of the morning run program, each college has lost a lot of points, mostly because they were caught being late for the run.

Meanwhile, outside the castle, within the British magical community, Old John, at Lynn's behest, began the formal closing of the net.

But the fish in the net were not at peace.
