The second day of the sports meet began as scheduled.

From that day on, all the competition events became significantly more entertaining than before.

Students in grades five through seven are generally over 15 years old, their physical functions are more fully developed, and they know more magic.

At the start of the fifth-grade competition, George, who was participating in the high jump, transformed his trouser leg into a small jet booster using a transformation technique, and immediately broke the high jump record.

George definitely cheated, and Hermione knew about it and was told by Harry and the others not to tell anyone.

"That thing on his leg wasn't something he conjured himself; it was something Mr. Weasley kept at home. George and Fried wrote to their father asking him to send it over, then used a shrinking charm to put it on his leg, and used a transformation charm to enlarge it during the match, so they could evade the referee's scrutiny."

Hermione didn't hesitate for long in front of Lynn before spilling everything out to him like beans, and then she let out a long sigh of relief.

"I only found out because I secretly saw them training with this thing. Harry and the others begged me not to tell you, but I think this kind of thing is against the rules. Go to the referee and cancel their scores. I'll explain to them later."

Lynn shrugged.

"Why cancel it? I'm not the referee. Why should I report them if they haven't been caught cheating?"

Hermione stared at him.

"You're the student council president! You initiated this sports meet, shouldn't you do something about them cheating like this?"

"Hermione, you sometimes get too caught up in your own thoughts." Lynn tapped her on the head.

"Work is work, and friends are friends. Now that I'm sitting in the audience, my role is George's friend. Whether they cheated should be supervised and judged by the referee. Even if I knew the result, I wouldn't interfere. You sometimes need to understand this. No one is absolutely impartial. If you were a disciplinary committee member patrolling and found Harry and Ron fighting in the hallway, would you put them in solitary confinement?"

Hermione said confidently, "Yes! I've wanted to arrest them and make them reflect on their actions for a long time!"

Lynn was speechless; it was clear that Hermione's patience with those two troublemakers had its limits.

"Let's use another analogy. If you caught Umaru stealing steak from the kitchen, would you punish her according to school rules?"

While completely engrossed in watching the game, Umaru suddenly snapped to attention and heard Lynn mention her name. She tilted her head and looked at him in confusion.

Lynn straightened her head again: "It's none of your business. Just watch your game."

At this point, Hermione finally hesitated and whispered.

"Stealing food from the kitchen isn't a big deal, is it? You won't get locked up."

"It's normal to feel guilty when you're dealing with friends and want to make excuses for them. I don't think we should make a big deal out of minor mistakes that don't involve principles. Everyone has friends, including disciplinary committee members. Sometimes, showing favoritism isn't an unforgivable mistake."

Lynn watched as George, empowered by the thrusters and various magic spells to reduce his weight, leaped so high he almost flew into the sky, his eyes gleaming.

"And their idea, or Mr. Weasley's idea, is really brilliant. I think the combination of technology and magic is the future of the wizarding world."

Hermione didn't quite understand Lynn's last sentence, but Lynn didn't care whether she understood or not; he stroked his chin.

"This reminds me of something. I've been investing in these two brothers, but I haven't yet decided on a research direction for them. This direction has great potential."

George didn't cheat too much; he only used propulsion in the high jump and long jump to help himself get first place.

Furthermore, he didn't brazenly lend it to other Gryffindor students afterward, otherwise Lynn certainly wouldn't have pretended not to know about it.

By the afternoon, after all the individual competitions had been completed, the accumulated scores of each college gradually became clear.
