My Hogwarts has a serious problem.

Chapter 335, Section 332: Student Council Office

Dumbledore accompanied Lynn for a stroll around the castle for a while before leaving. Afterwards, Lynn was accompanied by Filch, the former castle caretaker.

He had a sour face ever since he saw Lynn.

Lynn knew perfectly well what was bothering him. After the student council was established, the position of Filch Castle administrator became dispensable, and he was the one who lost the most power. Anyone would be unhappy in this situation.

Lynn made no attempt to comfort the Squib; no matter how unhappy he was, he had to obey Dumbledore's arrangements.

"Hogwarts Castle is very large, and many of the empty classrooms are actually abandoned. When students form clubs, almost every club can be allocated a classroom that they are satisfied with."

Although Filch was in a bad mood, he still had to do his best to complete the work that Dumbledore had assigned him. Otherwise, who knew if he would be forcibly dismissed from Hogwarts when he was no longer of any use?

He had lived here for most of his life, and if he were really forced to leave this castle, he really wouldn't know where to go next.

Lynn knew there were many empty classrooms, but he and Filch looked at many places and they were all eliminated because they were either not big enough, not fully equipped, or did not meet his expectations.

As they walked up to the seventh floor, Lynn inadvertently saw the tapestry depicting the giant beating Barnabas, and a brilliant idea suddenly popped into his head.

"We don't need to look for a classroom anymore. I suddenly thought of a place that perfectly meets my requirements."

Lynn said softly, then walked to the opposite side of the tapestry. Filch followed behind him, not looking at the wall Lynn was staring at, but at the comical tapestry.

"That's really stupid, teaching a troll to dance ballet," he muttered sarcastically.

Filch had been the castle caretaker for many years and knew almost all the secret passages in Hogwarts, but he was unaware of the existence of the Room of Requirement.

Even Dumbledore, as the headmaster, couldn't know all the secrets of the castle, something Lynn couldn't do even after obtaining the scepter.

If things had gone according to the original script, Dumbledore would have found a room full of chamber pots when he needed to urinate next year and was looking for a bathroom.

"The Room of Requirement is a room that can fulfill all your needs. For example, if we need a meeting room, we just need to walk around this wall three times and silently repeat to ourselves, 'I need a meeting room.'"

As Lynn spoke, he demonstrated to Filch, and soon a door appeared out of thin air in front of them.

He grasped the doorknob and opened the door, revealing a spacious room. In the center stood a long table that could seat more than thirty people, flanked by high-backed armchairs with intricate carvings. In the corners of the room were cabinets with teapots and teacups, filing cabinets for temporary storage of documents, and a magic blackboard for demonstrations.

Above the ceiling was a transparent crystal chandelier, inside which burned a bright white flame, illuminating the entire room.

On the left wall of the meeting room hangs a huge mural of a lion, a snake, a cypress, and an eagle, representing the four houses respectively, while on the wall directly opposite the entrance hangs the Hogwarts crest.

The wall on the right was blocked by a large, thick blackout curtain. Lynn walked over and pulled the curtain open, revealing a floor-to-ceiling window that ran the entire length of the wall, offering a clear view of the quiet forest behind Hogwarts Castle and the crescent moon hanging high in the starry sky.

The room was decorated and laid out perfectly according to Lynn's imagination.

Lynn snapped his fingers in satisfaction: "Perfect."

Filch's eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at the room before him. "Hogwarts has this room?! Damn it! Some young wizards must have discovered this place before and sneaked out at night to hide here! No wonder I sometimes spotted people wandering around at night but couldn't catch them!"

Lynn inwardly scoffed, thinking to himself, "You can't blame the Room of Requirement for being tricked by Harry and the others with the Invisibility Cloak."

He turned to Filch: "I'll ask Dumbledore's classroom for permission to use this room."

Filch said in a muffled voice.

"Dumbledore already told me about the classroom in advance. Once you've decided on the location, you don't need to report to him. I'll just have someone come and help convert the classroom you chose into the room you need. Now that you've found such a room, it saves me some time."

Lynn was satisfied with the Room of Requirement serving as the student council office, and Dumbledore had no objections either, so the matter was settled.

However, Lynn considered changing the specific plan. If each department and meeting room requested a separate room from the Room of Requirement, it would be very inconvenient for the student council's work to proceed, and there was a possibility that someone might accidentally enter the wrong room.

Therefore, Lynn considered that he needed a whole room, and then divided it into various offices and meeting rooms, which would undoubtedly be much more convenient than needing individual rooms.

However, how exactly to communicate with the House of Requirement requires specific design and planning. After all, this is not a simple room. Lynn can come up with a room in his mind based on the template in his memory, but he needs to slowly conceive of so many rooms.

On the second day of the semester, Professor McGonagall had already selected 20 student council officers from among the 40 students nominated by the students of various colleges and handed the list to Lynn.

"We're having a student council meeting at noon today. Professor, are you free today?" Lynn asked Professor McGonagall as she received the list.

Professor McGonagall looked at Lynn in surprise: "Am I supposed to attend your students' meeting?"

Now, the professors in the castle basically don't treat Lynn as a student. He can even skip any class and not do any homework assigned by any professor. This is exactly the kind of life that Umaru and the Weasley twins dream of.

Lynn shrugged: "You are our student council counselor, and this is the first meeting to determine the future student council bylaws and the allocation of positions. Of course, you should be here to witness it."

Professor McGonagall was also working as a student council counselor for the first time. Literally, she was a teacher who would guide students in their work, but in reality, she was completely clueless about what to do and what to tutor.
