The mastermind behind Hogwarts

Chapter 69 Heading to the French Ministry of Magic Headquarters!

Chapter 69 Heading to the French Ministry of Magic Headquarters! (Please, please!)

Madame Kova's mind was filled with embarrassing memories, and Moriarty found memories of the "red-haired boy" deep within her mind.

Without a doubt, besides Bill Weasley, what other British boy would have such striking red hair?

Around August of last year, Bill arrived in Athens and stayed at the Senburg Hotel.

Like Moriarty, he also gathered information in Shengbosaran. Mrs. Kova had her eye on him, but Uncle Uriah protected Bill, and a few days later, Professor Randy began to appear around Bill.

This led Mrs. Kova to abandon her plan to turn Bill into a vampire; Randy Cullen was a fairly well-known name in the half-vampire community.

The surname Karen comes from Professor Randy's wizard father, while Professor Randy's mother was the renowned French pureblood vampire, Countess Sophia Swann.

Professor Randy and Bill stayed in Athens for about a month, during which time large numbers of hybrid vampires were active throughout Greece.

Last September, Professor Randy and Bill left Greece.

Moriarty knew that at that time, Professor Randy was teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts, while Bill had not returned to Hogwarts and had once again disappeared.

After reading Mrs. Kova's thoughts, Moriarty sketched out a mind map.

The center of the mind map is undoubtedly Bill. It is now confirmed that Bill is very familiar with Professor Randy. As for the reason, Moriarty has other guesses.

However, they all came to Greece for the same reason, and judging from the increase in the number of vampires, this matter is related to vampires.

Uncle Uriah must have met Bill and Professor Randy, but he kept it a secret.

There are only two reasons why a shrewd businessman might keep a secret: money and fear.

If the old man had been bribed with a large sum of money, he would have sold the secret at a high price after seeing Moriarty's wealth, but the old man did not.

This shows that the man wasn't keeping the secret because of money; therefore, only fear remained.

Moriarty's strength earned the uncle's respect, but not to the point of making the uncle fear him. The person behind Bill or Professor Randy, however, terrified the uncle so much that he dared not reveal the news of Bill's presence in Greece!

Bill has Dumbledore behind him, and if Professor Randy has someone behind him, it can only be his mother, Countess Swann, but Moriarty doesn't think Bill can attract Countess Swann's attention.

On the contrary, given Dumbledore's gentle nature, he would make some vampire friends.

It's possible that Professor Randy followed Dumbledore's instructions to protect Bill. This also explains why Bill arrived in Greece first, and Professor Randy later.

Moriarty pieced together the fragments, trying to reconstruct the whole incident: first, Bill may have discovered a secret about vampires, then he reported it to Old Man Dumbledore, who used his connections to send Professor Randy to help Bill investigate.

They focused their search on Greece, but obviously found nothing. Since Bill hadn't returned to school, where had he gone?

The answer is obvious; it can only be France!

If some secrets cannot be answered even in Greece, where black magic is prevalent, then Bill can only seek the help of Professor Randy's mother—the vampire countess.

Pureblood vampires are strictly ranked. Apart from the legendary progenitor of vampires, the Grand Duke of Vampires is the strongest, while the Duke of Vampires has not appeared for thousands of years. Thus, the Count of Vampires has become the most powerful representative of the long-lived and immortal races.

Moriarty decided to set off immediately for France!

A trip to Western Europe was originally part of the itinerary, as it holds countless treasures—Nico Flamel, Beauxbatons School of Witchcraft and Wizardry—waiting for Moriarty to discover. It's just that the schedule has been moved up.

Lady Kova died completely, and Moriarty melted her body and wand with ice and snow, leaving behind a silver key.

"Ding-dong~ The host has been detected to have found the coffin key of a half-vampire. You are rewarded with one exploration lottery draw!"

Congratulations, host, on completing the mission and earning 12000 points!

Moriarty learned from Mrs. Kova's memories that coffins are a symbol of a vampire's identity and status. Every pure-blooded vampire has a coffin, while half-blooded vampires rarely have one.

Moriarty dismissively let the silver key float in the air, while Lady Kova seemed to hide everything inside her body.

After shaking his head slightly, Moriarty woke Quirrell. It took Quirrell a long time to come to his senses. He seemed to be in great shock, and his speech became somewhat stuttering. He collapsed to the ground like a lump of mud.

Upon seeing that the person before him was Moriarty, Quirrell crawled to Moriarty's feet: "You, you saved me...twice! If you...have, need, need anything, anytime, anywhere...just tell me, uh, I!"

Quirrell is not in a good condition to travel, and Moriarty will not waste his time on him. He spent 7000 points from the system shop to exchange for a blessing spell: Divine Prayer.

Divine Prayer: The caster adds an angelic aura to the target by chanting (which can be done silently, and takes about half an hour). The target will receive the divine protection of the angel, protecting them from the invasion of evil magic that brings negative effects, such as curses, poisons, necromancy, soul stealing, and parasitism.

Note: 1. The duration of protection for the target depends on the caster's condition. If the caster can maintain a strong condition, the angel's protection will continue indefinitely.

2. Divine Prayer cannot withstand physical attacks.

Moriarty took Quirrell back to the Senburg Inn, gave the old man a sapphire, told Quirrell to rest and recover, and then cast a divine blessing on him.

"Detected that the host cast a blessing spell on Quirrell, effectively preventing Voldemort from possessing Quirrell. The host has completed the mission and is rewarded with 5000 points. The host now has 11800 points. We wish the host a speedy rise to become the mastermind behind the scenes!"

Moriarty left Quirrell's room. With his protection, Quirrell would not be possessed by Voldemort. As for whether Quirrell would still go to Albania, whether he would live or die then, that was none of his concern.

Upon returning to room 777, Moriarty saw Lilith sitting on the edge of the bed, holding a letter in her hand, with a little owl pecking at her hair on her shoulder.

"Moriarty~" Lilith stood up, wanting to rush into Moriarty's arms, but stopped herself. Her eyes were red and filled with tears: "My family sent me a letter. In three days, they want to invite Cornelius Fudge to the manor. This means that the family has given up supporting Barty Crouch and is now supporting Fudge's candidacy for Minister of Magic. As the eldest daughter, I have to be there!"

So... I can't travel with you anymore!

Moriarty comforted Lilith, saying it was better that she didn't travel with him. He worried that his trip to France might lead to a breakdown in his talks with Madame Swann, and taking Lilith along would undoubtedly put her in danger.

"So you have to write to me when you go to France, okay?" Lilith looked like an abandoned cub, her eyes full of longing and reluctance, pouting as if she wanted to say everything: "Our trip isn't over yet, take me with you next summer!"

"This is far from over. I have a feeling we'll find some clues at Hogwarts, so you don't have to worry about me abandoning you," Moriarty said, a thoughtful glint in his eyes.

The next morning, Lilith left. Moriarty found Mrs. Kova's coffin, and inside he found an egg and the rest of the contents were dirty things, which Moriarty burned to ashes.

Moriarty brought the egg back to the hotel and asked the old man to come out and examine it. The old man smiled and held the egg to observe it.

"My Merlin! This is a Class A prohibited item, a Chimera egg!" The man nearly dropped the egg. He quickly put it down, his eyes wide with astonishment: "Where did you get this?"

"An unexpected delight." Moriarty smiled slightly. Marcus had told him that the Chimera was originally from Greece.

It is an extremely bloodthirsty and violent magical creature. It has the head of a lion, the body of a goat, and the tail of a fire dragon! Like the fire dragon, it is a level 5 "X" magical creature.

Moriarty stored the egg in his system space, checked out of the room, said goodbye to the uncle, and headed to France after lunch.

While also arriving in France by plane, Moriarty drank a transformation potion at the airport, turning into a tall man with striking long white hair and emerald green eyes.

Without Lilith by his side, Moriarty chose to head to the French Ministry of Magic headquarters located beneath Place Furstenberg!

A new day begins, and I'm making all sorts of requests!
