The mastermind behind Hogwarts

Chapter 679 Why am I always the one who gets hurt, Ron!

Chapter 679 Why am I always the one who gets hurt, Ron!

The black snake, short and limp like a caterpillar, slowly crawled out of Ron's left ear.

The first one, then the second, the third, the fourth...

Ron’s ears were like a snake’s nest, from which ten small black snakes crawled out!

The screams of Draco and his two companions continued unabated; they had never seen anything so bizarre!

"What's that? Maggots?"

Simo curled up in bed, completely wrapped in blankets, with only one eye showing.

"Is this what Professor Snape meant by maggots eating his brain? Ron's brain's infested with maggots!"

"Don't talk nonsense," Draco said, mustering his courage to get out of bed and put on his clothes. "Ron must be under a curse. You guys keep an eye on him. I'm going to find Professor McGonagall."

After saying that, Draco dashed out, leaving Seamus and Dean staring at each other in disbelief.

"Dean, do you think Ron might turn into a giant worm and eat us up!"

Simo trembled and asked Dean nervously.

"I...I don't know, where did my wand go?" Dean's voice changed as he searched for his wand in the darkness.

"Ugh ugh ugh ugh~"

Ron suddenly convulsed, his facial skin shaking wildly as if it were separating from his bones.

Ron's facial expression was also terrifying. His eyes rolled back, his face turned black, his muscles stiffened, and he suddenly stood up!

"Ron! Ron?" Dean asked timidly, a sense of foreboding creeping into his heart.

"Ahhhhh!"

Without warning, Ron roared and lunged at his two roommates.

Dean tried to run away but Ron grabbed him by the back of the neck and pulled him back. Seamus was so frightened that he shrank under the covers.

In reality, Ron was controlled by the basilisk in his mind. The basilisk eggs hatched into baby basilisks, 10 of which crawled out of Ron's left ear and are now nowhere to be found.

But even more small snake monsters remained in Ron's head, taking over the brain's command!

To speed up the development of the other snake eggs, Ron kidnapped Dean and Seamus and slipped out of the dormitory.

Accelerated by the dark magic element, the snake eggs on Ron's body developed into full-grown snakes, even parasitizing him!

When Draco returned to the dormitory with Gryffindor Prefect Wood and Professor McGonagall.

The dormitory was empty, with only a mess on the floor.

"Something's happened!" Professor McGonagall frowned.

We finally managed to open the Hogwarts Tower of Wizardry, but it hasn't even been a few days, and another young wizard is in trouble!

"Wood, gather the Gryffindor students in the Great Hall. No one is allowed to go alone. I'm going to find Professor Dumbledore!"

On the other side, Ron, carrying Dean in one hand and Seamus in the other, ran towards the Gryffindor common room.

That's right, it's about running.

Ron, controlled by the basilisk, has no control over his body. The basilisk has taken over his brain and is giving Ron the order to rush out of the common room.

"Bang!"

Ron, like a bull, crashed into the entrance to the common room, which was the portrait of the fat lady at the door.

The poor fat lady suffered an undeserved misfortune. She was sleeping when Ron savagely rammed into her and smashed her to pieces!

Ron rushed out of the common room and disappeared into the castle.

Professor McGonagall arrived late, waving her wand: "Restore immediately."

The portrait of the fat lady was gradually restored and hung back on the wall.

"Waaah!" the fat lady cried. "How terrible! A demon broke out! He didn't even know the password before he stepped over me."

Professor McGonagall walked toward the castle with a livid face. She went to find Professor Dumbledore, while Wood and the other little lions ran over and stood guard at the door.

Principal's Office.

Professor McGonagall gave the password and successfully entered the office. She anxiously began to speak:

"Albus, something's happened in one of the dorms. Ron, Dean, and Seamus have disappeared!"

But after she finished speaking, she was shocked to find that there was another person in the office besides Dumbledore.

To be precise, it's a ghost.

Tom Riddle!

Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts.

Dumbledore smiled slightly, but his eyes held worry: "Minerva, the three children have been found. Professor Tom helped them and took them to the university hospital. But there's something I don't understand: what happened to the three children?"

As Dumbledore spoke, his sea-blue eyes looked at Tom.

Professor McGonagall looked at Tom with equal surprise, wondering how Tom had been able to find Ron and his two companions so quickly.

Tom remained unfazed, showing no remorse whatsoever for having implanted the snake eggs in Ron's brain.

"At 12:11 tonight, I came out of the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom and heard running sounds upstairs."

"I floated upstairs following the sound of running, and saw Ron Weasley carrying Seamus and Dean, running down like a madman."

"I noticed that Ron was not in a good mental state, so I used a minor Sleeping Charm on him and then immediately reported it to Professor Dumbledore."

Tom exchanged a glance with Dumbledore as he spoke, and Dumbledore nodded slightly.

"Next, Professor Dumbledore personally escorted Ron and the other two to the university hospital to receive treatment from Madam Pomfrey."

Tom slowly recounted the whole story, without a hint of guilt.

In fact, Tom's account was correct. He had sensed it as soon as the snake egg in Ron's brain began to hatch. In order not to affect Lalpo's overall plan, Tom had no choice but to knock Ron unconscious.

The basilisk in Ron's brain was originally implanted by Gorgon. Tom ordered the basilisk to relinquish control over Ron.

This allowed Ron to stay safely at the school hospital.

After knocking Ron unconscious, Tom went to the headmaster's office, which led to the scene that unfolded after Professor McGonagall entered.

Professor McGonagall and Professor Dumbledore both believed Tom's words, but this only made them more confused.

Everything seemed fine, so how did Ron get into trouble?

All three professors expressed their confusion, but Tom was feigning it. He deliberately suggested, "I think the key to this strange thing lies with Ron. He may be being controlled by someone else."

"You mean?" Dumbledore's eyes hardened.

"Yuri Gamp," Tom said calmly.

Gorgon was unaware that the snake eggs in Ron's brain were ripened by Gump, but that didn't stop her from shifting the blame onto Gump.

Dumbledore remained noncommittal, though he had also thought of Gump in his mind.

"Minerva, go back to the Gryffindor common room. No matter what happens, make sure the children are safe."

"Tom, you can go back now. I believe the children will thank you for everything that happened tonight."

After seeing McGonagall and Tom off, Dumbledore sat down and rubbed his temples. He decided to talk to Moriarty about the matter.

Of course, we'll have to wait until tomorrow.

The next day, early in the morning.

Moriarty was taken to the school hospital by Professor Snape early in the morning.

Ron, Seamus, and Dean lay on the hospital bed, listless and pale.

They had woken up and told Dumbledore what had happened in the dormitory, but Ron said he didn't remember; it was Seamus and Dean who told him.

"That's how it happened..." Dumbledore told Moriarty about the strange events that had occurred the previous night.

Upon hearing this, Moriarty's first reaction was that Ron had been controlled by Gamp again.

So he moved a chair and sat down in front of Ron's bed.

Ron trembled involuntarily upon sensing Moriarty's arrival.

The thought of his beloved goddess Hermione being pampered in the arms of this man filled Ron with inexplicable anger.
