The next day, the sun shone brightly.

Moriarty and Lilith got up slowly, went downstairs and asked the uncle, only to find out that Quirrell had gone to Shengbosaran.

"Breakfast is ready for you two." The man placed the Sovarangi meat rolls, curry bread, and whey milk on the table. Lilith ate in small bites, saying to Moriarty, "I slept really well last night; the hotel must have added soundproofing. Hey! What's that?"

Lilith watched in horror as a small black snake crawled up Moriarty's wrist.

"Don't be afraid, these are the ghost snakes I released yesterday. These adorable little creatures are keeping watch for us and have made contact with the local snakes."

The little black snake transformed into a line of ink-colored text on Moriarty's wrist. After reading it, Moriarty gradually understood what was going on, and the text gradually disappeared.

Lilith asked curiously, "What are they saying?"

"A bunch of vampires have their eyes on us. After breakfast, I'll find a secluded, dense forest to deal with these idiots. You stay at the hotel."

Moriarty gave a faint, sinister smile. He never had enough points; in the blink of an eye, a bunch of blind vampires would die. Sure enough, 777 was a number that brought good luck.

Seeing Moriarty's smile and hearing his words, Lilith knew what he was up to. She suspected this wasn't the first time Moriarty had done this, but she still cautioned, "This is Athens, not London. Quirrell said there are more vampires—that's not good news. You must be careful. Also, I won't stay in the hotel like a caged canary; I'm going with you!"

"I know you're worried about me," Moriarty said coldly, looking into her eyes, "but you need to face reality. If you come with me, you'll only be a burden! If you stay here, they won't be crazy enough to attack the hotel, and you'll be safe. That's the biggest help you can give me."

Lilith stared stubbornly at Moriarty. She admitted that Moriarty was absolutely right, but she was just unwilling to accept it.

"Don't worry," Moriarty said, finishing the last piece of his pizza. "I'll go to Shengbosaran to get Quiro first, and then we'll begin."

Lilith nodded silently, muttered "Be careful" under her breath, and went back to her room.

Moriarty, on the other hand, changed into a retro tailcoat and a luxurious cashmere coat. After instructing the uncle not to leave the hotel, he headed towards Sanbosaran.

Unsurprisingly, Quirrell was spotted at the vampire bar. He was dressed in a black robe, hiding in the crowd, eavesdropping on the conversations of the passing travelers.

And then there's the wanton Mrs. Kova, who, as always, clung to men.

As usual, Moriarty ordered a Long Island Iced Tea, and then, as if afraid that no one would notice him, he readily ordered a drink for each customer!

Laughter erupted from the bar: "Cheers to the generous little British rascal!"

Moriarty didn't care about this at all; people's character was irrelevant to him. His only target was those greedy fools.

Lady Kova tried to get closer to Moriarty again, but Quirrell pushed her away. Quirrell really wanted to leave with Moriarty, but when Moriarty invited him to team up to fight vampires, Quirrell happily agreed.

"I never imagined I'd be adventuring alongside you, a great Slytherin! Perhaps I can even write a novel like Mr. Lockhart!"

Quirrell, who wasn't possessed by Voldemort, had a wizard-like demeanor. After the two clinked glasses and drank, they swaggered out of Shengbosalan, seemingly wandering aimlessly through the streets, but actually keeping an eye on what was behind them.

With Moriarty possessing the serpent, finding a few foolish vampires who roam during the day would be a piece of cake.

Quirrell then showed off his shapeshifting skills, turning his black scarf into a raven that flew in the sky to monitor the ground.

After walking northwest for about an hour, we arrived at the foot of a mountain, which Quirrell said was Mount Ares in Athens.

Quirrell's travels had given him a wealth of experience, and he analyzed, "This mountain is only a little over 100 meters high, with lots of rocks and few trees, which is not conducive to the running of large animals. I think this can limit vampires, but it's a good place for us to use shapeshifting."

Moriarty, on the other hand, summoned black snakes—some of his own ghostly serpents, and others of the local species.

"There are eight vampires following behind, all of them are mixed-race. It's possible they have a leader, so let's take care of these minions first, four of us each."

Moriarty devised a strategy, which Quirrell readily agreed to. As they ascended the mountain path, the eight vampires who had been following Moriarty seemed to have discovered their plan and launched an attack!

Seeing the four vampires flying towards him, Moriarty first activated his passive magic, Tide.

A slight chill slowly crept in, and the air became humid, but the vampires didn't notice.

Then Moriarty pointed his staff at the ground: "Rock Giant!"

The rocks quickly gathered, pressed together, and assembled into three five-meter-tall stone giants, which clenched fists as large as adult men's heads and smashed them at the three vampires.

The vampire at the forefront had no time to dodge and was slammed to the ground. He took off his black cloak, revealing pale skin with a large red patch on his arm. He bit his lip and let out a piercing scream as he rushed toward Moriarty at incredible speed!

"Shatter to pieces!" Moriarty uttered a spell, which was dodged.

"Obstacles everywhere! Obstacles everywhere! Obstacles everywhere!"

Moriarty cast three obstacle spells in quick succession, forcing the vampire to change direction multiple times to dodge them. Finally, the third spell struck the vampire's foot, slowing his attack.

"Heart-Piercing Bone-Splitting!" A beam of red light shot out from the tip of the staff, striking the vampire swiftly and accurately!

"Ah—" The vampire's scream rang out, as piercing as fingernails scraping across a blackboard. Moriarty wanted to cover his ears, but he discovered that this vampire actually had the ability to attack!

"Quirk, be careful. These vampires have high magic resistance. Ordinary magic has no effect on them." Moriarty immediately told Quirrell his discovery. He noticed that Quirrell had also used Polymorph—stone projectiles rained down on the four vampires, but with little effect.

At this moment, the other two vampires who attacked Moriarty transformed into a swarm of bats, flapping their wings and creating a bloody dance that entangled the rock giant.

The last vampire suddenly drew a silver sword from under his black cloak and leaped to stab Moriarty in the throat!

Moriarty gripped his staff tightly with both hands, swung his arm in a wide arc, and used the staff to deflect the silver sword. The vampire was so surprised that he bared his fangs; he had never seen a young wizard use a wand as a weapon before.

But Moriarty quickly aimed his staff at the vampire and shouted, "Water Arrow!"

A sharp water jet shot out from the tip of the staff, striking the vampire on the head and sending him flying.

Even an adult wizard would die instantly if hit in the head by an ice arrow, but this vampire merely shook his head, his eyes turning blood red, and charged at Moriarty once more!

However, Moriarty knew that this vampire had been given a layer of tidal energy.

"Quirk, hold on! I'll lure them away." Moriarty gave himself a "Swift as the Wind" buff and activated the speed-boosting function of his Kara Boots, running towards the mountaintop. The two wounded vampires chased after him without hesitation, and the swarm of bats that had destroyed the rock giant also flew up.

Moriarty ran all the way to the mountaintop, raised his staff high, and the water elemental magic merged with the moisture and coolness in the air. "Crying Under the Snow!"

The little girl's sobs and pitiful wails rose up, the two sounds as heavy as a funeral march, pounding on the hearts of the four vampires.

The vampire whose head was blown off has been frozen into an ice sculpture. The other three vampires have been given a layer of tidal energy, which slows their movements and causes them to suffer from splitting headaches.

The vampire struck by the Cruciatus Curse began to hallucinate, picking up a large rock and licking it incessantly, as if he were embracing a virgin.

"Whispering Serpent!" Moriarty commanded the serpent to envelop the vampires, then hurried off to help Quirrell.

Quirrell was at a disadvantage; his robes were torn, he had twisted his ankle, and he was about to be bitten on the neck by a blood bat!

"Shatter into pieces!" Moriarty drew his cedarwood wand, shattering the blood bat. He planted the wand in the ground, and magical light flashed as it began to automatically draw an ice magic circle.

Moriarty, meanwhile, used his cedarwood wand to continuously cast spells, repelling the four vampires. He then grabbed Quirrell and pulled him backward.

"Their magic resistance is too high!" Quirrell complained, sweating profusely. "Ordinary spells can only restrict their movements, and we don't have much time to cast that many spells! I'm afraid only the Killing Curse can kill them!"

"Then I'll give it a try. It's just a killing curse, nothing to me!" Moriarty lowered his voice and began to brew his killing intent.

In some ways, the Killing Curse is very simple; as long as the caster possesses immense magical power and a deep-seated killing intent, they can unleash this instant-death curse.

Quirrell, terrified, looked at Moriarty with worry: "Don't do that! It will destroy your soul!"

Moriarty seemed oblivious. His eyes narrowed, and he raised his wrist, pointing his cedarwood wand at the lead vampire: "Avada Kedavra!"

The voice was soft, but it was filled with murderous intent!

The wand emitted a dazzling green light and trembled violently. Moriarty was using the Killing Curse for the first time, and his heart was pounding. For a moment, he felt his body become very heavy, but he returned to normal in an instant.

The effect was obvious: the vampire flying at the very front fell to the ground with a thud and died silently.

At the same time, the ice magic circle was ready, and Moriarty said in Parseltongue, "Ice Serpent Dance!"

In an instant, a fierce wind howled. While the passive magic tide restored Moriarty's magic power, it also added three layers of tide to the three vampires, freezing them in place. Although the freezing only lasted for a moment before they returned to normal, they quickly panicked.

The blizzard overhead swallowed the three vampires, and twelve ice snakes with bloodshot eyes opened their mouths and devoured the vampires!

With the danger averted, Moriarty plopped down on the ground, feeling extremely exhausted after using two large-scale ice spells and a killing spell in quick succession.
