Fudge, along with a group of Ministry of Magic officials who supported Gump, died at the Leaky Cauldron. After the Battle of London, Lockhart quickly took over the Ministry of Magic of England.

There was no way around it; Lockhart himself was tough enough, had a huge reputation, had amassed a large number of loyal followers in the anti-Black movement, and enjoyed an exceptionally high international reputation.

With Gump gone and Fudge dead, the remaining members of the Ministry of Magic had no chance of resistance.

Furthermore, with the mysterious disappearance of old Piliwick from the Gump lineage, the loss of this key figure connecting all sides meant that the Gump lineage was doomed, and the Ministry of Magic quickly fell into Lockhart's hands.

Shouldn't it be two groups of people holding small sticks, chanting obscure and incomprehensible incantations, and firing slow and conspicuous beams of light?

How could it suddenly be so devastating?

The Muggle regime has never paid much attention to the magical regime, mainly because the threat posed by wizards is too small.

While wizards are undoubtedly more threatening individually than Muggles, in terms of sheer numbers, a group of wizards is no match for a group of Muggles.

If a war breaks out between wizards and Muggles, wizards will only be slaughtered!

This is almost a consensus among the Muggle regime, and some insightful people among wizards also see it clearly, such as Grindelwald and Dumbledore.

Most wizards are unable to see clearly; they only want to believe that Muggles are stupid. Voldemort is a representative of this type of people, and the Malfoy family and other families that insist on pure-bloodedness are even more exemplary.

The Muggle regime is not unaware of this, but it doesn't care! It has never cared before!

The Muggle regime stated that the number of wizards in the world is almost like that of rare animals, and they should be kept in zoos for protection!

The reason we haven't touched you for centuries is because you are self-sufficient and never cause trouble—even if a minor accident occurs (see Grindelwald in World War II and the village-level terrorists who caused Voldemort), we can quickly resolve it (see the Reversal of Accidental Magic Group).

Moriarty is a white-robed wizard in the eyes of Muggles, Gump is a black monster in the eyes of Muggles, and the Fairy King was captured in full on video, but the Fairy King is still locked in the dungeon in Slytherin Castle.

Because Moriarty and Gampo are enemies, we must first pacify the internal situation before dealing with external threats!

However, if the Muggle regime is not appeased, it would be adding insult to injury if it were to seek cooperation with Gamp.

Therefore, Lockhart did not reveal Gamp and the Immortal Organization, but agreed to cooperate with the Muggle regime.

Lockhart set conditions: cooperation should proceed gradually, and the number of people sent by the Muggle regime should not be too large.
