The mastermind behind Hogwarts
Chapter 597 Lilith, you're going to make me laugh to death.
Castorbuscher is a school full of oddities. Compared to the mystery and fantasy of Hogwarts, the wizards here, from professors to students, are more like scientists in the Muggle world.
Walking through the large wooden house, Moriarty thought that perhaps Ravenclaw's teaching methods would be very popular in Castulbsch.
Many wizards locked themselves in their research labs. Although we couldn't see what they were doing, Moriarty judged from the traces they left behind when using magic that their research subjects were related to plants and animals.
"If you have the chance, bring Marcus and Hagrid here to have a look."
The idea flashed through his mind, and Moriarty nimbly ran up the stairs.
Like Hogwarts, Castorbuscher's campus is protected from Apparition magic. Moriarty has seven floors to climb.
A few minutes later, Moriarty ran up.
When Moriarty reached the fifth floor, he noticed a sign hanging outside the research room that read "Malignant Research".
Upon reaching the seventh floor, the sign changed to "Terror Research, Do Not Enter".
As expected, Castrobuscher was not as simple as he appeared, Moriarty thought.
So what exactly is Lilith researching here?
Study yourself?
To be honest, I'd rather do it.
With that thought in mind, Moriarty walked step by step into the seventh floor, his brows furrowing slightly.
The lower floors are brightly lit and have fresh air.
The long, seven-story corridor was dimly lit, damp, and cold, with a strange smell permeating the air.
The ground appeared to be stained red with blood, then covered with a layer of ash over the years, leaving shallow footprints with every step.
Moriarty walked through one sealed research room after another, 701, 702, 703...
As Moriarty passed each research lab, he heard strange noises.
"Bang!" The sound of the laboratory door being slammed shut.
"Whoosh whoosh whoosh..." The sound of something crawling.
"Clang, clang, clang!" It sounded like a bell being struck, but the sound was sharp.
"Caw, caw..." It sounded like a crow cawing, but the sound quality was very unclear.
Moriarty ignored these oddballs and walked straight to the end of the corridor.
730…745…769…776,
777!
finally reached.
Moriarty stood outside the door of research room 777, listening to the sounds inside.
There was nothing there.
Moriarty pursed his lips. Silence was an anomaly here. Was Lilith inside?
He could only sense the magic, and through the door, he sensed a cold, sinister magic.
That's right, it's Lilith's magic!
That was the magic that allowed one to transform into a snake after using shapeshifting techniques.
Moriarty immediately knocked on the door and called out, "Lilith?"
"Open the door quickly, I've come to see you."
There was no movement inside.
The sensed magic seemed to tremble and quickly shifted from its original position.
Hiding?
Moriarty was somewhat confused.
Since Lilith is the only one inside, why is she hiding?
This reminds me of what Professor Polly said about Lilith's current condition not being very good.
Moriarty's brow furrowed even deeper.
"Bang bang bang!"
He pounded on the door and shouted, "Lilith, the shapeshifting magic has malfunctioned! You can't change back!"
Upon hearing this, Lilith inside the room trembled as if she had been electrocuted, and two lines of tears streamed down her delicate yet haggard face.
Yes, she can't go back to being her original form!
She was too ashamed to face Moriarty, for no one would associate with a snake.
Lilith curled up in pain as her body from the neck down transformed into a snake!
Not only that, Lilith is also bald.
Because she didn't want to become like Medusa with snake hair, she ruthlessly cut off all her hair.
However, it wouldn't be long before the snake hair grew back. Although the white snake hair was loyal to Lilith, Lilith didn't want to live with a snake head. It was like enchanted chives, long and thick, and impossible to cut off completely.
At this moment, Lilith had a human head and a snake's body. Her white snake scales formed a large net, locking her own magic power within her snake body.
"Lilith, you know I won't be stopped by a door, right?"
Moriarty stopped knocking. He wanted to give Lilith a chance; if she didn't open the door, he would break it down.
"So what if the transformation failed? You're giving up?"
"Where has Lilith Pilivik gone? She dared to break the Secret Act, could draw the Gryffindor sword, and confront the vicious Death Eaters in court!"
Outside the door, Moriarty was still encouraging Lilith. Hearing her beloved's words, Lilith seemed to be awakened with a bit of courage and controlled her snake body to wriggle towards the door.
"Shh, shh, shh."
Listening to the dull rustling sound of the snake's body sliding across the floor inside the house, it sounded like a giant python was crawling over.
Moriarty thought to himself, "It's huge. No wonder Lilith can't turn back."
This is a hurdle; once overcome, Lilith's power will experience a leap forward.
"Don't give up on yourself. In my heart, you're not the kind of person who admits defeat."
Moriarty offered further encouragement.
Lilith placed her trembling snake tail on the doorknob, her eyes showing a resolute look, but when she thought about her condition, she hesitated again.
The snake's tail retracted, and Lilith softly asked a question: "Moriarty...do you...like Medusa?"
Medusa?
Does Lilith look like Medusa now?
Moriarty unconsciously breathed a sigh of relief. Medusa had a human body and a snake tail, but retained human characteristics.
His biggest fear was that Lilith would turn into a complete snake, without any human characteristics.
If it were Medusa, there might still be a chance to save her.
"Lilith, I don't like Medusa."
"Snap!"
Lilith felt her heart shatter into a million pieces.
Moriarty said he didn't like Medusa!
I'm in a worse state than Medusa right now.
In other words, Moriarty doesn't like me!
From Lilith's perspective, the thing she feared most these past few days has finally happened.
"I don't like it... I don't like it..."
Lilith's mind went blank and she couldn't hear anything. She muttered to herself, feeling as if she had fallen into an ice cellar, her body felt light and her soul seemed to have floated away.
The magic of the snake's body weakened considerably, mirroring Lilith's mood.
Sensing this change, Moriarty was startled and quickly blurted out the rest of his sentence.
"I like you more than Medusa!"
"It doesn't matter whether you are human, snake, or half-human, half-snake."
The night we parted, you said if you couldn't find me, you'd hide away forever. But now, I've found you!
After saying that, Moriarty burst through the door and rushed inside!
Lilith, rejuvenated by Moriarty's confession, found her soul returned to its place, and there before her stood the man she had longed for.
"Moriarty!!!"
Lilith's eyes filled with tears as she rushed into Moriarty's arms.
However, the expected gentle comfort and encouragement from Moriarty did not come; instead, Moriarty's loud laughter was heard!
"Hahahahaha!"
"Lilith, you're going to make me laugh to death."
Moriarty held the massive snake in one arm and stroked Lilith's bald head with the other, grinning from ear to ear.
"Mo, Li, Ya, Tis, Lai, Te, Lin!!!!!!!!!!"
Lilith was so angry that she nearly lifted the roof off.
Her eyes gleamed red as she mocked my hair.
"Whoosh~"
Countless snake hairs sprouted from the top of their heads. The small white snakes, like their master, had red eyes and tightly coiled around Moriarty's hand.
"Prepare to die, Moriarty!"
Lilith, enraged, wrapped her snake tail around Moriarty's waist, intending to teach him a lesson, but she discovered that the snake's body below her neck had changed.
A long, slender neck.
Her collarbones were as delicate as white jade.
Snow-white, rounded shoulders.
Two slender and soft arms.
And below her neck, Lilith's entire upper body, down to her waist, was completely exposed to Moriarty.
(What will happen next? Hehehe, have a great weekend everyone~)
