The mastermind behind Hogwarts
Chapter 595 Lilith is in trouble?
Late at night, as Lockhart was talking with Principal Dawn, a thunderbird flew out of Ifamoni, carrying Moriarty, Ishcher, and Jericho, and flew towards distant South America.
On the Thunderbird's back, Jericho stroked the golden, fluffy bird's back. Feeling the touch of his fingers, the Thunderbird tensed up, showing signs of trembling.
Jericho was utterly puzzled. As a native-born wizard from the beautiful country, he knew a fair bit about the Thunderbird, this magical creature.
A distant relative of the phoenix, a powerful overlord of the sky, and sometimes capable of going toe-to-toe with the fire dragon.
Even a Thunderbird like this would tremble when touched.
What happened to this poor guy?
Jericho couldn't help but look at the two people riding on the bird's head, Moriarty and Ischl!
Although Jericho didn't know what had happened in the first half of the night, judging from the Thunderbird's unusual behavior, it must be related to Moriarty and Ischl.
Jericho had been classmates with Moriarty for five years, and he had never seen Moriarty show any affection for the Thunderbird.
If Marcus used the Thunderbird as his mount, Jericho would have no doubt, but Moriarty?
Hmm... that's weird.
Especially that incredibly beautiful Daenerys Targaryen… the way Ishtar looked at the Thunderbird…
It reminded Jericho of the look in her eyes three years ago when Tonks cooked snake soup and stir-fried a round-faced, fat Scottish chicken.
No, it's even more terrifying than that look!
If Tonks's gaze represents the enjoyment of all the delicious food, then Daenerys Targaryen's gaze represents the consumption of everything.
Jericho involuntarily shuddered and looked at the Thunderbird, which was flying with great sympathy.
Poor guy.
Jericho's emotions were sensed by Ishcher.
"Hey, your friend is giving me weird looks."
Ishcher leaned close to Moriarty's neck and said with a wicked grin.
Moriarty stated that there's nothing a barbecue can't solve when it comes to winning over a big-eater beauty; if there is, just have another one.
One meal of beef and horse barbecue, and one meal of thunderbird barbecue.
This brought the two of them closer.
So Moriarty's tone became less serious: "What you're saying is easy to misunderstand. Jericho is just afraid you'll eat him. It's perfectly normal for a human to be afraid of being eaten by a dragon."
"Are you afraid I'll eat you up?"
Ishcher chuckled, her beautiful eyes reflecting the roar of a dragon; with a single glance, her alluring yet fierce aura was palpable.
Moriarty suddenly remembered that Ishcher had not yet revealed her dragon form; that was her most terrifying and powerful form.
"What's wrong? Why are you suddenly not saying anything?"
Ishcher asked, puzzled, then smiled and said, "Were you frightened by this Dragon Mother?"
"Unless you can give me some surprises," Moriarty said casually, his words vague. Ishcher didn't know what he was talking about, so he changed the subject.
"Where are we going?"
"The direction is south, could it be... that they're taking me to Antarctica to eat penguins?"
Ishcher's beautiful eyes lit up. She had forgotten that it was hundreds of years ago when she had eaten hundreds of penguins. The taste was icy cold, just like the feeling of humans eating ice cream.
"It's time to get down to business," Moriarty couldn't help but interrupt Ishcher's reminiscence, otherwise he would lead this perfectly good female dragon astray. "We're going to South America to meet someone."
"oh."
Upon hearing that he was going to meet someone, Ichchel immediately lost interest.
"South America... let me think," Ishcher suddenly frowned, "The goblin clown seems to come from South America? There are too many goblins like little mice on that continent, which I really dislike."
"Fairy King..." Moriarty recalled Professor Polly's information. The Fairy King seemed to have another name, the Dragon Tamer. Did Ishcher know the origin of this name?
After listening to Moriarty's words, Ishcher narrowed her eyes, her beautiful golden-black eyes reflecting a captivating brilliance.
"When it entered the Black Forest, it did indeed shout that it would tame the dragon race."
"But after I, the Dragon Mother, lashed it away with my tail, its mouth was as if it had been welded shut, completely sealed."
"Hahaha..." Moriarty let out a hearty laugh. Ishcher stood up at this moment, her two long legs standing straight, just as she had said, perfectly aligned.
Noticing Moriarty's gaze shift downwards, Ishcher said slowly, "You seem to be looking for my dragon tail?"
Moriarty looked away; he didn't want to be whipped down by the Dragon Mother's tail.
"Chirp!"
The thunderbird let out a loud cry.
We've arrived at our destination: Rio de Janeiro.
Below lies a vast tropical rainforest, with lush green land and towering trees blocking out the sun.
A restless atmosphere permeated the warm grassland.
Moriarty saw several centaurs chasing after the thunderbird, each of them carrying a longbow.
"We've arrived. The centaurs have very special eyesight; the animals of the grasslands can't see the thunderbirds, but they can."
"Is the person you're looking for a horseman?"
"No, of course not, but if she were here, that wouldn't be wrong."
Moriarty shook his head and then nodded.
He came to Rio de Janeiro to find Lilith, but if Professor Polly is also there, then Ishcher is right.
But Ishcher didn't know Lilith or Professor Polly, and couldn't understand what Moriarty was saying.
"Riddler, what a boring guy," Ishcher muttered as she jumped off the Thunderbird.
The Thunderbird let out a cry of relief, and Moriarty, with a smile in his eyes, jumped down as well.
Jericho patted the bird's head. "Thank you for your hard work. May there be no Dragon Mother in heaven."
Thunderbird nodded as if it understood, tears glistening in its eyes. Compared to its companions, it was the luckiest one.
The three landed, their feet sinking into the soft grassland. Moriarty, who possessed the wood element, felt a strange sense of peace.
The snakewood wand, growing in such an environment, must bring itself a great surprise.
Moriarty thought this, but it was just a thought. The Fairy King's lair was probably in South America. Even with Professor Polly and the centaurs there, Moriarty was still worried about leaving the snakewood wand there.
Thinking of this, Moriarty looked up at the approaching centaurs. "Where is Polly? The people of Hogwarts are looking for her."
The centaurs stopped and stared at Moriarty and his two companions in astonishment.
A few minutes later, Professor Polly walked over slowly, surrounded by a group of centaurs.
Instead of wearing the wizard robes that Hogwarts professors usually wear, she wore a pair of black leather armor and four long boots that made her round thighs look muscular.
"So you were here, Professor Polly."
Moriarty stepped forward, and Professor Polly nodded. "I returned to Brazil the night you left Hogwarts, but I knew you would go back sooner or later. Are you ready?"
"I can only say that I'm working hard," Moriarty said, holding up a piece of shimmering green light in his right hand. "Look, the wood elemental relic is in hand."
Professor Polly's gaze was instantly drawn to it, a flicker of excitement crossing her eyes. The element of wood was incredibly appealing to her, who had been born on the grasslands.
"And this... the Dragon Mother of the Dragon Clan, the Thunder Element Relic is in her possession, and she is now our companion."
Moriarty then introduced Professor Polly and Ischcher to each other.
"Professor Polly, a researcher of the Divine Symbols, is in charge of investigating the Fairy King."
Ishcher glanced at Professor Polly briefly; to her, Professor Polly was just a fairly capable centaur.
A divine symbol?
Never heard of it, so what if it's a god!
But Professor Polly's eyes widened as she sensed the immense power emanating from Ishcher, and she involuntarily moved closer to Moriarty.
"Your gains are greater than I imagined. We now have five of the eight elemental magic relics."
Moriarty nodded slightly: "The relics of light and darkness are in the hands of the Immortal Organization, and the whereabouts of the earth elemental relics are unknown. I heard Salazar's ancestor mention that three hundred years ago, a Hufflepuff student was researching earth elemental magic. Perhaps this is the breakthrough."
"Let's not talk about that now. You need to see Lilith," Professor Polly said, a worried look on her face. "She..."
"What's wrong with her?" Moriarty couldn't help but raise his voice.
When they parted that day, he had a premonition that something might have happened to Lilith!
Because Lilith was in a strange mood that day, with a resolute look on her face as if she were saying goodbye.
Could it be her?
