The mastermind behind Hogwarts

Chapter 557 Men Understand

The house is always ready to grant any request.

Moriarty looked at the two men and two women who had followed him—Lilith and Fleur, Jericho and Krum—and a satisfied expression appeared on his face.

Fleur and Krum wield considerable influence in their respective schools, and the first half of the plan will require their appeal to complete.

Jericho was undoubtedly his right-hand man, capable in both literary and martial arts, able to handle both the legitimate and criminal worlds, and able to stand on his own. He was very confident in entrusting both the first and second halves of the plan to him.

Lilith, this ambitious girl, is someone we can rely on for now.

To them, Moriarty explained the first part of his plan.

One thing surprised them.

That's what Moriarty confidently stated: "Umbridge's appointment to Hogwarts was a mistake by Gump! Of course, it's also related to Fudge's lack of capable subordinates. For us, this is a breakthrough."

"In the upcoming Defense Against the Dark Arts class, the number of truants will only increase—but young wizards come to learn magic, and if Umbridge doesn't teach them, they'll naturally find someone else."

"The older students have already laid the foundation for the Defense Against the Dark Arts system, so they can go about their own business. It is the younger students who have the greatest need for Defense Against the Dark Arts."

"It'll definitely be a lower-grade student who comes knocking, so we just have to agree to their request!"

"If Umbridge can't teach Defense Against the Dark Arts, I will!"

"I will form a small organization, go underground, and secretly teach students from three schools."

Moriarty glanced at Fleur and Krum, "Now is the time for you to mobilize your classmates, the more the better."

Fleur and Krum nodded vigorously, while Lilith frowned slightly: "But? This won't fool Gamp. The biggest secret among students is that they have no secrets."

"Alright then," Moriarty smiled, "It's meant to be discovered by Gamp!"

"This is the second half of my plan."

Clearly, Moriarty hadn't revealed the second half of his plan. Lilith said, "Okay, I'll reluctantly accept the first half of your plan, but why did you choose lower-grade students?"

"Let me leave something for Hogwarts," Moriarty said with a smile.

Jericho raised his hand and said softly, "Um... I don't want to interrupt, but is there anything I can do?"

Seeing Jericho's "get me a task" expression, Moriarty's smile deepened: "Then the choice is yours, Jericho. Will you choose to complete the first half of the plan, or the second half?"

Jericho didn't answer immediately, but lowered his head and began to think seriously.

Lilith and Fleur's memories end. Look at Hermione and Hannah, then at Moriarty.

If they didn't trust Moriarty's character, they would have suspected that Hermione and Hannah were hired by Moriarty to put on a show.

Moriarty smiled and told the two younger girls, "This is feasible. Let's find a place to talk about it this Saturday."

Hermione and Hannah left happily, both pleased to learn from Moriarty and looking forward to seeing him once a week.

Fleur said to Moriarty with concern, "If nothing unexpected happens, you will be dueling with Knight Lancelot this Saturday."

"It doesn't matter, I'll take care of it." Moriarty waved his hand. "I have some experience in knightly duels, so don't worry."

"Hmph," Lilith chuckled teasingly, "Be careful not to capsize in the gutter. You know Lancelot's family background. She's spent most of her life wielding swords, and now she has a wand."

"I'm more concerned about the long-standing feud between her family and the Arthurian dynasty than Lancelot's strength," Moriarty said thoughtfully. "Do you think there are other grudges involved? Lionheart is clearly an optimist; the grudges of his ancestors couldn't possibly have that much of an impact on him."

"Why don't you ask Professor Binns, Lord Barrow? Maybe he can give us the answer," Lilith suggested.

Professor Binns did not leave the castle after stepping down; in fact, he is now part of Hogwarts Castle, currently living with the ghosts.

Barrow the Blood Man had great respect for Moriarty and offered to deliver the message, which took four days.

Professor Binns did not respond until Saturday.

"History has been edited out. It will take me several years to sort it out so that I can find the original version from the fragments of mythological details."

This is Professor Binns' answer.

Moriarty and Lilith were present at the time and were stunned by what they heard.

The historical accounts have been edited to show that the feud between the Arthurian and Lancelot families is not the green-tinged version that people often tell.

The "mythological details" further illustrate that this hatred is too bizarre and too powerful.

As for Professor Binns's statement that it would take several years, Moriarty and Lilith exchanged a glance, thinking, "We might all graduate by then!"

"Thank you, Professor."

Goodbye.

The two were about to leave when Professor Binns suddenly called out to them, "If you had a time converter, you could greatly shorten this process."

Moriarty noticed that the old ghost used the word "process".

It seems this hatred has lasted for a very long time.

Having figured things out, Moriarty left.

"Let's go watch the duel," Lilith suggested. "Lionheart will be the first to go, and you might be the second."

"Um."

The duel, or rather, Lancelot's test, was set at the Quidditch pitch.

When Moriarty and Lilith arrived, the Gryffindor team was leaving the field in an orderly fashion, led by Wood.

"Still so diligent, Oliver."

"I want to prove to everyone that hard work can beat genius!" Wood waved his arms with high spirits.

The other team members seemed rather uninterested, but Draco's eyes were bright, though he looked away guiltily when he saw Moriarty.

After the two groups parted ways, Lilith complained, "Does Wood not even realize he's a genius?"

"He's a hard-working genius," Moriarty said with a smile.

Upon arriving at the duel venue, the students had already formed a huge circle, with Lionheart and Knight Lancelot standing face to face in the center of the circle.

The Weasley twins shouted loudly:

"The first duelist, Mr. Lionheart Pendragon's physical data: height 160cm, weight 85g."

"Lancelot Knight's physical stats: Height 180cm, Weight 110g, Bust/Waist/Hips... um..."

"What is it?"

"Speak!"

"Go on!"

The older students suddenly became excited and started making a lot of noise.

George blushed, his buttocks turning red. Fred covered George's mouth and dragged him into the crowd. That guy who gave them the information was really wicked!

As Moriarty walked in, he said to Jericho beside him, "You gave them this information, didn't you?"

"Huh?" Jericho stuck out his tongue. "How did you know?"

"Nonsense! Among Hogwarts students, besides the two of us, who else could tell a girl's body stats at a glance!"

"Hehehe."

Jericho smiled and exchanged a knowing look with Moriarty.

"here we go!"

Only two members of the Sword Club in the crowd cheered loudly for Lionheart.

Lionheart gripped the sword in the lake firmly in both hands; he didn't even need his wand.

In contrast, Lancelot lived up to his name, raising his sword above his head like a true knight and walking gracefully toward Lionheart.

Knight Lancelot, not forgetting that she was now the headmistress of Beauxbatons School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, held a wand in his other hand.
