Chapter 55 Reveals the Secret Room (Please add to your favorites!)

From then on, Moriarty would occasionally bring a few snakes into the House of Requirement. After numerous experiments and continuous improvements to the runes, Moriarty solved the problem of short-distance spatial teleportation.

As March arrives, the weather in Great Britain becomes peculiar; some places are experiencing the dead of winter, while others are already welcoming the blooming of spring flowers.

Despite being a magical school, Hogwarts is inevitably affected by nature. Marcus tells Moriarty that the magical creatures of the Forbidden Forest have become active.

Some of the bolder ones gloriously completed the task of procreation, then strutting through the woods with their tails wagging, becoming a unique sight in the forbidden forest.

Jericho told Moriarty that his revision wasn't going well—the June exams were fast approaching.

Since the Quidditch tournament ended, Jericho, the American cowboy, seemed to have lost his enthusiasm for life and become lazy.

Lilith tells Moriarty that she has learned the Disillusionment Charm!

The trio agreed to go on another nighttime stroll, and Moriarty suggested the House of Requirement as their meeting place.

Moriarty led Jericho and Marcus to the eighth floor, but they did not see Lilith.

"Come out, Pirivic!" Jericho called out in a low voice, "Pirivic?"

"Shut your hoarse voice! I'm here."

A clear, melodious voice came from the corridor. Lilith had dispelled the illusion spell and slowly revealed herself, speaking to Jericho, who was going through puberty.

Moriarty glanced at Lilith with interest. "The Disguise Charm allows the disguised person or object to become like a chameleon, its color and texture matching the surrounding environment. I didn't expect you to be the first among us to learn the Disguise Charm; you certainly have talent."

A flicker of joy flashed in Lilith's eyes: "This time I've taken the lead over you!"

Jericho curled his lip: "Tch~ If Mr. Moriarty hadn't been busy learning the Great Memory Charm and the Permanentization Charm, how could he have let you be the first to learn the Disillusionment Charm?"

"A large-scale memory spell? A permanent fixation spell? What are you guys doing?"

Seeing the puzzled look in Lilith's eyes, Jericho felt a little smug, but he still asked Moriarty, "Sir, may I tell her?"

A portal of light appeared in the stone wall, and the four stepped inside, looking around at the interior decorations—a huge round table, a dozen plush chairs, a white carpet and a silver ceiling, with several chandeliers emitting a soft glow.

"Ah, so this is the little room where you and Tonks have your dates every day?" Lilith casually pulled out a chair and sat down, leaning back elegantly as she looked at Moriarty. "You finally decided to bring us along?"

Jericho stared at Lilith in astonishment. How did she cultivate such an imposing aura?

"Please have a seat, young master." Marcus pulled out a chair for Moriarty, and after Moriarty sat down, he stood respectfully behind him.

"Knock, knock, knock." Moriarty tapped the table with his knuckles. "Lilith, you need to take every word I say seriously from now on."

Lilith became serious, and then Moriarty explained to her the mission he was currently undertaking, as well as the plan to reveal the secret chamber.

After hearing Moriarty's explanation, Lilith was speechless with shock. She pursed her lips and, after a long while, said, "If this plan succeeds, and as long as you don't make any major mistakes in the next thirty years, I dare say you can choose between the position of Headmaster of Hogwarts or Minister of Magic!"

Marcus and Jericho exchanged a glance, their eyes gleaming with excitement.

Moriarty remained expressionless. "What if the plan fails?"

"Then..." A complex and regretful expression appeared on Lilith's face: "Under pressure, the Ministry of Magic will expel you from Europe! And that's the lightest punishment!"

Remember Milison Bagno? That old woman will definitely bite you hard before she steps down!

Moriarty suddenly leaned close to Lilith, their noses almost touching, and a blush quickly rose on Lilith's cheeks.

Moriarty looked her straight in the eye and said in a very low voice—almost as loud as a mosquito's buzz: "Bring your little gang! That's what I want."

Lilith stopped blushing and instead became icy. She stared at Moriarty for a while, then gave a barely perceptible nod to the blond little head.

Moriarty then sat back down: "Well then, you can go now. Good night, sweet dreams, Lilith."

Lilith gave a faint "hmm" and left.

"Jericho, go and call Willian, Leon, and the rest of the players."

"Marcus, go and mail out the things I've prepared in my dorm room."

Moriarty gave instructions to Jericho and Marcus with his eyes closed.

The two dared not delay and quickly split up to carry out their tasks.

William and Leon were still awake. When they heard that Moriarty was looking for them, they immediately put down what they were doing and came to the Room of Requirement.

After everyone was present, the group discussed things until very late. No one knew what they talked about, but all that was known was that the next morning, in the Slytherin common room, all the Slytherin players, dressed in silver-green wizard robes and wearing wizard hats, waited at Moriarty's dormitory door.

William and Leon have informed all the little snakes to change into the same robes as the players, and if not, to use Transfiguration to turn ordinary robes into Slytherin robes!

The Slytherin students' solemnity made many people feel that something big was about to happen, and the news quickly spread throughout the school, even attracting the attention of the ghosts.

At 10:00 a.m. sharp, Moriarty walked out of his dormitory. Today he was wearing a medieval wizard's robe and the wizard's hat that Lilith had given him.

Moriarty's white robes and the Slytherin staff he held made him appear as gentle and refined as jade. He led the snakes out of the common room and into the Great Hall.

"The owls are coming!" Moriarty raised his staff, and a large flock of owls, led by Poseidon, flew into the Great Hall and landed on the four long tables. Almost every student received a small package.

When Bill Weasley at the Gryffindor table opened the package, he found a small card and a scale inside.

The silver card read: "I, Moriarty Slytherin, cordially invite Bill Weasley, a seventh-year student of Gryffindor, to the Chamber of Secrets in Slytherin!"

For millennia, people have speculated endlessly and been wary of the monster imprisoned in the secret chamber. Now it has been discovered that a thousand-year-old serpent monster is imprisoned there! (If you wish, I hope you will call her by her name—the serpent monster's name—Shiva.)

Bill sensed something was wrong. What was wrong with Percy? But shouts were coming from the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw dining table!

Tonks released his Patronus Michelle, and the white rabbit said in an adorable voice, "Besides Mr. Moriarty, who else would lead a group of the four houses on a tour of the Chamber of Secrets in Slytherin? I dare say the Basilisk isn't scary at all. Her name is Shiva? I'd like to be friends with her!"

Penelope's face flushed with excitement: "You self-proclaimed geniuses with extraordinary intelligence! Come with me! I heard from Mr. Moriarty that he's stumped by a difficult problem. Let's see if our academy's geniuses can solve it!"

Bill ran even faster.
