The mastermind behind Hogwarts

Chapter 531 Grindelwald's Appearance

Chapter 531 Grindelwald's Appearance

"Gellert Grindelwald!"

When Lilith heard Moriarty say the name, she suddenly realized and slapped her forehead.

"I should have thought of that sooner."

Lilith said with a smile.

"But how are you going to convince Grindelwald—to get him out of Nurmengardry?"

"If you do that, you might not even be able to leave Austria."

Lilith looked into Moriarty's eyes, and swallowed back the worry that was on the tip of her tongue.

She knew that Moriarty was always successful.

But Grindelwald was different from ordinary wizards.

Although he has been out of power for more than 40 years, his name remains a taboo.

Many eyes are on Grindelwald!

Moriarty patted Lilith's hand to soothe her worries.

"How could I not know how dangerous Grindelwald was?"

He is considered one of the most powerful dark wizards in history, second only to Voldemort.

"But the reason for this belief is simply that Voldemort's brutality far surpasses that of Grindelwald."

"In terms of pure strength, Grindelwald might very well be able to defeat Voldemort."

As someone who stands at the pinnacle of magic, Moriarty offers a fair assessment.

"Grindelwald's strength is not his reliance."

"His ambition and ideals are what make him so charming."

Moriarty changed his tone.

His gaze became serious and profound.

"I do not wish to refer to Grindelwald as a 'dark wizard' or 'dark lord'."

"Grindelwald himself may very well believe that everything he did was for the benefit of all humanity, and therefore he was not evil."

Lilith nodded repeatedly, "That's right, I think so too."

“I even think the people have been a little unfair to Grindelwald,” Lilith shrugged. “But history is written by the victors, the winner takes all, there’s nothing we can do about it.”

"That's why I think so highly of him," Moriarty said with a smile, looking at Lilith. "Even today, some of his ideas remain appealing, and some of your thoughts probably originate from that, right?"

Lilith's face flushed slightly.

She glanced at Moriarty with a mixture of delight and embarrassment, then lowered her head.

"I thought you didn't care about my thoughts."

"How could that be?" Moriarty said gently. "I remembered your theory of 'wizard supremacy' from the first time we met."

"But my ideas are different from Grindelwald's ambitions," Lilith explained urgently. "I have no intention of ruling Muggles like Grindelwald!"

"That's so stupid!"

"The scale of wizards and Muggles is completely different!"

Lilith said with some frustration.

Although she was proud to be a witch.

However, it must be admitted that wizards have no way to rule over Muggles.

Lilith moved her eyes and noticed Moriarty watching her with great interest. She awkwardly straightened her hair.

"Go on," Moriarty encouraged.

"Alright then," Lilith said haughtily, "let me explain..."

Lilith straightened her slender waist, cleared her throat, and said, "In layman's terms, I think this is the ideal state for wizards and Muggles."

"Muggles worship wizards, and wizards become the patron saints of Muggles."

"This aligns with my belief in the supremacy of wizards."

"And wizards no longer need to worry about the threat from Muggles."

Moriarty knew that Lilith had only given a general direction.

The specific details still require a long period of implementation.

But that's still quite remarkable.

Most wizards never even considered a life exposed to Muggles.

"So, Moriarty?" Lilith stared at Moriarty with sparkling eyes. "What are your ideals?"

Lilith was particularly curious about this.

She watched Moriarty grow stronger and stronger, gaining control of most of the British wizarding world, and having wonderful stories with many girls...

But they never knew what Moriarty's goal was.

Moriarty smiled mysteriously: "I'll tell you when I have the chance."

"Tch~" Lilith stuck out her tongue and rolled her eyes. "Who cares?"

Moriarty stood up, waved, and said, "Alright, get ready, we're going to Nurmengard."

"What?!" Lilith's eyes widened. "You're still going to see Grindelwald!"

"It's not me, it's us." Moriarty pointed at Lilith.

"Why did you bring me along?"

"Because your idea is derived from Grindelwald's, perhaps he will come out of retirement to help Dumbledore out of respect for you."

Moriarty joked as he took Lilith's hand and led her downstairs.

"Sigh~" Lilith was being led away, and she asked, "But you still don't know the exact location of Nurmengard!"

"Good question, so let's find someone who knows the exact location first."

A while later, Moriarty appeared in the castle hall carrying Violet.

"What are you doing, Master~"

Violet rubbed her sleepy eyes, pouted, and said, "I'm feeling sleepy."

"Wake up, I need to find the Polish saint."

Moriarty's hands started to wander.

He knew that only in this way could he awaken the little vampire who slept during the day.

"Mmm~ It feels so nice and tingly."

Violet opened her eyes, regaining her senses.

"Polish saints? Oh right, back in Italy, I contacted Polish saints to attack my master."

"Let me think... I arranged for Victoria to do it, I'll have her do it again."

Moriarty licked his lips; the little tail was getting more and more tempting.

They're almost at harvest time.

"Go quickly. I'll come back to find you."

Lilith remained expressionless throughout, until Violet ran off to find Victoria, at which point she turned her gaze to Moriarty's hands.

"Ahem, should I go wash my hands?" Moriarty touched his nose. Mmm, smells delicious.

"No need, don't even think about holding my hand." Lilith turned her head away.

"I refuse," Moriarty leaned in, grabbed Lilith's hands, and grinned wickedly. "No one can order me around."

Before Lilith could even react, Victoria walked over.

"Master, I have obtained the address of Neumontard. It is in the suburbs of Vienna, Austria."

"That's wonderful! You're always so thoughtful."

Moriarty was full of praise, but he hadn't yet explained why he wanted to find the Polish saint.

Victoria took care of it.

"Let's go."

Moriarty pulled Lilith away.

"You're going to use Apparition? Think it through, this is international travel!"

Although Lilith said she was unwilling, her little hand was still firmly held by Moriarty.

"No, although my magic is enough to allow me to Apparate to Austria and back. But I don't use Apparate."

Moriarty shook his head.

"There are many eyes on Vienna, and anyone who goes to Neumorgad will be spotted."

"This time, I used a typhoon to send us there."

"hold me."

Lilith was taken aback: "Huh?"

"Don't just stand there, hold me tight!" Moriarty said matter-of-factly, "You don't want to be swept away by the typhoon, do you, Miss Pilivik?"

"Hmph, where did you learn that weird accent?"

Lilith appeared reluctant, but was actually excited, and hugged Moriarty tightly from behind.

"Apparition".

Moriarty and Lilith instantly arrived in the English Channel.

"We've been coming here a lot lately," Lilith complained, looking down at the sea.

Moriarty didn't have time to answer; he was busy manipulating wind elemental magic.

A few seconds later, Moriarty created a small whirlwind.

The whirlwind around the two of them began to gradually expand.

In just a few minutes, a massive tornado formed.

The wind howled and raged, carrying the two of them toward Austria.

That night, in the countries of Central Europe.

They simultaneously detected a gale-force wind of level 8 approaching the border.

When the Muggle government prepared to evacuate the crowd, it discovered that the strong winds were merely moving rapidly high in the sky and had not affected the city or the people.

Before dawn, Moriarty and Lilith successfully arrived in Nurmengard.

Moriarty gazed at a dark, sinister, towering fortress on the hilltop.

"Hurry up and act, if you're lucky you might make it to the concert in Vienna."

The two cast illusion spells on themselves and entered Nurmengard one after the other.

They saw all the other prisoners in the prison die along the way until they reached the room on the top floor.

Moriarty knocked gently on the door.

"Dear Mr. Grindelwald."

"I am Moriarty Slytherin, and she is Lilith Pilivik."

"Please open the door if you'd like to talk to us."

After waiting for four minutes, the door opened.

An elderly man with a hunched back walked out.

He was wearing a white robe that was almost blackened, and slippers that revealed his big toes.

He had very little hair left and looked bald.

His eyes were filled with turbidity, but when he stared at Moriarty, a glint of light flickered in them.

For Moriarty, he felt an overwhelming aura of dominance.

The person before me is none other than Gellert Grindelwald!

(The image of the elderly Grindelwald is used here because, according to the timeline, he should look like this - see the scene in the seventh book where Voldemort interrogates Grindelwald about the location of the Elder Wand.)

(As for whether Grindelwald will revert to his appearance from Fantastic Beasts 2, stay tuned!)
