The mastermind behind Hogwarts

Chapter 463 Zhang Qiu is captured!

"Ahem, hello everyone."

A clear, pleasant voice rang out from the stands.

The students searched for the source of the voice, while the older Slytherin snake had already recognized it.

"Is it Professor William?" Lilith asked in surprise. "Is he able to get out of bed and move around?"

"I'm William Romölt, the commentator for this match!"

It really was William.

He was wearing a thick fleece coat, and his face was a little pale, but his eyes were very bright.

The students started talking, and William said, "It's great to see everyone again. Although I haven't fully recovered, I still have the energy to commentate on a match."

He smiled wryly and said, "I've stood on the field countless times as a player, feeling the intense struggle from the bottom of my heart. Now I'm here with you as a commentator."

The students applauded enthusiastically, especially the little snake.

"Professor William, you are the best Quidditch player!"

"Um... thank you," William said humorously, "though I haven't been a professor for more than a few days either."

Professor Lu Ping, who was also in the stands, smiled.

"Let's see the players enter!" William steered the conversation to the match, "Slytherin vs. Ravenclaw!"

"As the first game of the year, both teams were giving it their all. We saw Marcus lead his team onto the field, and Jericho and Soldaya, the main players who have maintained their seven-time consecutive championships, were still on fire. Um... by the way, I was the initiator of the consecutive championships."

"Ah, this feels so good. I feel like my injuries have healed quite a bit."

William was very happy.

"On Ravenclaw's side, led by Roger, the focus is more on the new Seeker, Cho Chang! This second-year student from China has successfully earned a spot on the team with her outstanding skills, and this is her first game!"

"And the Slytherin team has a new member: Harry Potter!"

As William explained, Harry flew out on a flying broomstick.

He was riding a Nimbus 1990S.

He flew quickly towards his teammates.

Marcus and his group lined up and hovered in the air.

Harry couldn't brake in time and accidentally overtook his teammates. He had to take a few steps back before returning to their midst.

"Huh~"

A chorus of boos and good-natured laughter erupted from the Ravenclaw stands.

Harry blushed as he looked at Cho Chang, who had done an excellent job, executing a beautiful tail flick and flying into the middle of her teammates.

"Harry Potter's position is also a Seeker, and he's one of the two first-year players selected this year. Moriarty chose him!"

Many people cast glances toward the Gryffindor stands, searching for Draco, which stirred a deep sense of jealousy in Ron.

"Hmph, Malfoy and Harry," Ron thought resentfully, when a sudden thought popped into his head.

"Pray to Merlin, may they all fall to their deaths!"

Ron was startled by the idea and quickly shook his head.

The match has already begun!

While Harry was still in a daze, Jericho had already breached the opponent's goal.

Roger looked dejected. "Mr. Moriarty isn't playing, but there's still Jericho!"

Zhang Qiufei rushed over and shouted to his teammates, "Don't give up! I can catch the Golden Snitch, I definitely can!"

Jericho orchestrated another attack, successfully bringing the score to 20-0.

"As expected of the Slytherin team, they broke down the opponent's mental defenses in just two goals!" William exclaimed excitedly. "At this point, the Ravenclaw players almost gave up on the attack; they pinned their hopes on Cho Chang, praying that she would catch the Golden Snitch!"

"Family members, watch your attitude."

Tonks walked over, made a light comment, and sat down next to Moriarty with his long legs crossed.

"Dear naughty junior, you've been staring at that girl on the field. Don't think that just because you're sitting alone in the corner, no one will notice!"

Tonks blinked her watery eyes and playfully sat on Moriarty's lap.

Moriarty casually put his arm around her waist. "My dear Nymph, do you think Cho Chang can win?"

Tonks followed his gaze and shook his head.

"Then we'll wait and see," Moriarty said with a mysterious smile.

Ten more minutes into the game, Jericho scored seven goals and Soldaya scored two. Willian exclaimed, "At this rate, Ravenclaw's only hope is the Golden Snitch!"

The pressure was on Zhang Qiu, who kept flying around the court, hoping to find the Golden Thief as soon as possible.

Harry had a hard time keeping up with her.

"Her steering was so steady, and her drift was so beautiful!" Harry stared at the graceful figure ahead, mentally reviewing the moment.

"I'm just as fast as her, but every time I catch up to her, she always manages to outrun me with a drift!"

Harry gritted his teeth and turned around, widening the distance between him and Cho Chang once again.

Suddenly, a golden shadow flashed across the sky!

"The Golden Snitch!"

"The Golden Thief!"

Cho Chang and Harry reacted simultaneously, accelerating their dive.

"Look! They're almost equally fast!" William roared, coughing as he did so, but he was in high spirits. "And the Golden Snitch? It suddenly took off as soon as it got close to the ground! Oh no!"

No sooner had she finished speaking than Cho Chang made a beautiful feint, suddenly lifting her broom handle, leaping over Harry, and soaring into the air!

"Wow~ Wow~ Wow!" William exclaimed with exaggerated intonation, "I feel like I see Moriarty's shadow in Cho Chang, huh? Isn't that right? This is Moriarty's most classic move!"

Hearing this, Zhang Qiu smiled sweetly. She had watched Moriarty use this gesture for a year, and along with Moriarty himself, it was deeply engraved in her mind.

Zhang Qiu used it with ease just now.

Now, she is only an arm's length away from the Golden Thief.

Zhang Qiu happily stretched out her arm!

"My Merlin!"

William stood up and shouted, "Cho Chang caught the Golden Snitch! Ravenclaw wins! Score 140-150! Ravenclaw!!! The whole arena cheers for Cho Chang, wow!"

The stadium seemed to explode instantly, and everyone jumped up to cheer for Zhang Qiu.

They didn't see Harry clumsily land on the ground. Although his innate instincts prevented him from falling, he also failed to pull up the broom handle while diving.

"We lost!"

Harry stared wide-eyed in horror as the world outside his glasses blurred.

"I've shattered Slytherin's invincible myth!"

Harry stared blankly as Cho Chang flew happily through the air.

"Harry Potter, get off here! We want to see Moriarty!"

"Harry Potter, get off here! We want to see Moriarty!"

The increasingly loud noise shattered Harry's eardrums. He looked up and saw many classmates roaring in dissatisfaction.

Almost all the little snakes thought that Harry was to blame for losing the game.

Pansy screamed, "Bott deliberately lost the match! To embarrass us Slytherins!"

Harry lowered his head in shame. Jericho patted him on the shoulder. "It's okay. Everyone has a first time. Besides, we don't lose the championship so easily. We'll win it back next time!"

"Really, Senior Jericho?" Harry looked at Jericho with hope.

William's commentary provided a good answer to Harry's question, saying, "Slytherin has lost their first match since 1988, but the Slytherin players shouldn't be discouraged. If they can beat the other three teams in their next match, they will be forced into a deciding game, and they are still the favorites to win the championship!"

"Phew," Harry said, his gloom lifted, "I'm alive again."

"By the way, where is Mr. Moriarty? May I ask him for some tips?"

Harry and Jericho walked off the pitch. Jericho, having seen something, led Harry around a corner. "Don't look for him. I'll teach you. Actually, I'm better than him."

Harry was eager to see what was happening over there, so he turned his head to look.

It's Zhang Qiu.

Moriarty was standing at the exit.

Zhang Qiu ran happily towards Moriarty, opened her arms and hugged him, her face showing a passionate expression.

Moriarty had no idea, no preparation, and no concern that at least fifty people were watching.

He lowered his head, lifted Zhang Qiuguang's smooth chin, and kissed her deeply.

After a long few minutes—or maybe half an hour—or a few sunny days—they finally parted ways.

A burst of cheers and whistles erupted from the crowd. Zhang Qiu shyly buried her face in Moriarty's chest, and Moriarty grinned at her.

He pointed outside, implying that they would be taking a long walk on campus and, if they had time, they could talk about the game.

Zhang Qiu was taken away by Moriarty, who acted as if the victor rightfully took the prize, and she was that prize.

Moriarty said to Cho Chang, "I'm going to have a good time with my prize tonight."

Many girls around them watched them walk away with envy, but Hermione pouted unhappily and whispered to Hannah beside her, "I bet he's a womanizer. He kissed our Penelope a few weeks ago, and today he kissed our Cho Chang! Who's next?"

Hermione didn't react with indignant displeasure. After a long silence, she asked in confusion, "Hannah, what are you doing? Ugh~"

On the other side, Harry saw Cho Chang leave with Moriarty, and for some reason, he felt a little uneasy.

"What are you thinking about, kid?" Jericho asked curiously.

"Oh, no, it's nothing," Harry said, declining.

"Very good. You'll need to undergo special training from now on. Next week you'll face Gryffindor, and you don't want to lose, do you?"

Jericho gave a devilish smile.

After finishing his special training, Harry was too exhausted to think about Cho Chang.

(More female characters have been added to the side stories, hehe *^_^*)
