The mastermind behind Hogwarts
Chapter 459 Voldemort's Doomsday
It was 11 p.m., outside the alchemy classroom.
Harry stared at the dark entrance, which resembled the gaping maw of a savage beast, exuding an eerie and terrifying aura from the inside out.
"Ron, why do we have to come at 11 o'clock to borrow that stone? When you agreed to borrow it from Professor William, didn't you consider that Professor Nicolas Flamel might already be asleep?"
Harry cursed himself for being stupid. He hadn't thought this far when he agreed to Ron's request that afternoon, and only realized something was off when he got here!
Ron lowered his head and said in a muffled voice, "I... I didn't think that much at the time. Professor William asked me to do it, and I agreed without thinking."
Now he's hesitant, lingering at the entrance and unwilling to go in.
Harry sighed, Draco's assessment of Ron coming to mind: "Simple-minded like a goblin, and jealous like a goat."
"Sigh, why did I agree to him in the first place?"
Harry rubbed his scar. For some reason, the scar felt particularly uncomfortable tonight, as if something was about to happen.
Harry was already thinking of turning around and leaving, but his personality prevented him from abandoning Ron, so he left the choice to Ron.
"So, you tell me, shall we go in? Or, shall we go back?"
Ron glanced at Harry, then at the dark entrance. The long underground staircase resembled a wide black snake, and Ron couldn't help but shudder.
However, Ron thought of Professor William's usual care and guidance towards him.
"Even though he's a Slytherin, he treats me better than my own brother!"
Ron was determined to help Professor William this once.
With his gaze fixed on the alchemy classroom, Ron declared firmly, "Even if it's a dragon's lair inside, I'd brave it for Professor William!"
Harry took a deep breath. "Okay, Ron, I'll help you."
The two entered the underground passage one after the other, completely unaware that a dark shadow was following them, and a rat was running incessantly at the shadow's feet.
Nothing happened along the way. Harry and Ron ran into the alchemy classroom, and Ron took out his wand and said, "Flash."
A sliver of light appeared from the tip of the staff, illuminating a small patch of light in front of the two people.
"One of the spells Professor William taught me," Ron boasted to Harry.
Harry nodded, thinking: Neville's glow-in-the-dark charm can light up a whole classroom, and Draco learned this charm when he was 4 years old.
Wow~
Ron spun around on the marble floor, excitedly saying, "This is the biggest classroom at Hogwarts! Normally, we can only enter here when we're in our second year."
Harry didn't want to explore the classroom; he just wanted to finish his task quickly and get out.
"I'll go borrow that stone from Professor Nicolas Flamel."
"Hey, hey! Wait a minute!"
Ron saw Harry heading straight for the small door behind the podium, so he ran over and grabbed Harry.
"Wait, Harry, shh—you can't wake Professor Nicolas Flamel. We're out here at night, which is against school rules, you understand?"
Harry pulled his hand away from Ron's and growled, "Then how do you plan to complete Professor William's task! We don't even know what that rock is called!"
Ron's eyes darted around, and he chuckled a few times: "We can search for it secretly, take it secretly, and no one will know. Professor William certainly won't betray us."
"You! Steal?"
Harry stared at Ron in shock. Ron seemed unfamiliar to him, and his scar suddenly stung with pain.
In a daze, Ron's figure overlapped with that of the person who often appeared in his dreams!
"what!"
The scar stung painfully, and Harry clutched his forehead, taking several steps back.
Ron said impatiently, "Don't make a fuss, okay? Hurry up and look for it. We can't keep Professor William waiting. It's just a rock; it's easy to find."
He had already begun searching the desks, not even glancing at Harry.
Harry rubbed his scar, mustered his spirits, and searched for the stone on the podium.
A glimmer of light rose from the tip of the staff. Harry scoffed. Who doesn't know a glowing charm?
They were so engrossed in their search that they didn't notice Professor William and Scabbers the rat quietly entering.
William stood quietly at the classroom door, completely shrouded in a black cloak with his face hidden under the hood.
"I was right after all. Those alchemically made desk soldiers will only attack adults who break in, not the little wizards."
The rat, Spotted, flattered, "Alchemy pales in comparison to your dark magic, Master."
"Hmph," William scoffed hoarsely, "Alchemists won't attack children, even in the dead of night. Typical Moriarty and Dumbledore."
"Hogwarts has become an old man, they've ruined Hogwarts! Peter, you know what to do, right?"
"clear."
The rat, spotted, scurried to the small door behind the podium, to prevent the Lemaîtres from suddenly coming out.
William leaned against the door, looking completely confident that the Philosopher's Stone was within his grasp.
A few minutes later, Ron, standing on the sixth row of the tiered desks, excitedly exclaimed while holding a stone, "I found it!"
"Great," Harry looked up, sweat trickling down his face. "We can go back now."
"Ron, give me the stone."
William finally spoke. He stepped out of the shadows, extended his right hand to Ron who was running towards him, and wore an approving smile on his face.
"Professor William!" Ron exclaimed excitedly.
"How could I let you act alone? I've been following you the whole time, and I must say, you are the two first-year students who performed the best in this assessment. Professor Nicolas Flamel and I will give you full marks."
Voldemort started using sweet talk again, making Ron ecstatic, and even dispelling some of Harry's doubts about William.
Ron, completely unsuspecting, placed the stone in William's hand, boasting that he had cast a glowing spell.
William showed no impatience whatsoever, and smiled broadly.
however.
The instant the stone touched his palm, William felt as if his hand was on fire, a searing heat traveling from his palm into Voldemort's soul!
"ah!!!"
Voldemort yelled and frantically shook his hand, trying to get rid of the stone, but no matter how he shook it, the stone was stuck to his palm as if it were glued on.
"Sizzle, sizzle, sizzle!"
Black smoke billowed from William's body, and Voldemort's soul felt as if it were being roasted in a furnace, causing Voldemort to scream in agony.
"This isn't the Philosopher's Stone! Aaaaaah! No!"
William's face contorted as Voldemort desperately tried to escape the heat, to the point that his soul appeared on the surface of his body.
Ron and Harry saw William tear his cloak and clothes, revealing another face on his chest!
Harry swore he had never seen such a hideous and terrifying face.
The face was as white as chalk, with bright red eyes that shone, and below them were two long, thin nostrils like snakes.
"Harry Potter!"
"Ron Weasley!"
"Voldemort said sharply."
"This body is unusable; I need your bodies!"
"Don't even think about it, Voldemort!"
Moriarty's voice suddenly rang out.
A "click" sound followed.
The small door to the podium was pushed open, and Marcus opened his briefcase, from which a leopard cat jumped out.
The black and blue leopard cat pounced and bit the mouse, Spotty.
At the same time, the classroom was brightly lit, and Voldemort saw six people standing on the podium.
"Moriarty!!!"
Others may not recognize him, but Moriarty was someone Voldemort hated to the core.
"Where's the Philosopher's Stone?"
"What about Nicolas Flamel?"
Why are you here?
Voldemort was completely bewildered; the situation before him was entirely beyond his control.
Moriarty said casually, "I have a good relationship with the Lemaîtres. Tonight they went to a safe place, and it's just the two of us here."
"Voldemort, your end is nigh."
Moriarty said casually, waving his hand, "Go!"
Marcus, Jericho, Soldaya, Percy, and Tonks charged toward Voldemort.
Tonks was the fastest; she flew over on her flying broomstick, Champion 1991S.
Tonks intends to extend this hunting method to the Aurors, and today is a test.
"No!!!"
Voldemort's voice grew sharper, and he exerted even deeper control over William, wisps of black energy emanating from him.
William lowered his head, looking as if he was about to die, but now he held the wand in his left hand.
Tonks, with his sharp eyes, waved his wand: "Expelliarmus!"
"Clatter!"
William's wand was knocked away, Voldemort's eyes glowed red, and two Imperius Curses silently struck Harry and Ron.
Moriarty had anticipated this. William was already a master of silent spellcasting, and Voldemort, disregarding William's life, could cast spells at lightning speed.
Before Harry and Ron could even react to what was happening, they were taken into control.
Moriarty bent one of his index fingers and beckoned it toward the ground.
A large snake emerged from beneath Harry and Ron's feet, binding them tightly like a thick rope, leaving only its head exposed.
"Pop~"
The giant snake spat out two blue bubbles at its two heads, instantly activating Voldemort's Imperius Curse.
"What is this? A snake's kiss?"
Lilith's expression was strange. Just now, Harry and Ron's first kiss was almost taken away by a snake.
During the chat, Voldemort was already on the verge of collapse from the beating by Tonks and the others.
Percy was the most ruthless, because Voldemort had bewitched his little brother.
"Stop, Percy," Tonks stopped Percy from using a Crucifixion Charm. "That body belongs to William."
Taking a breath, Voldemort caught his breath: "Damn Moriarty!!!"
"Stop talking nonsense, you're going to die."
Moriarty gestured to the air behind William, where Tom, who had been imbued with the Disillusionment Charm, was.
Tom smiled slyly, "Main Soul...hehe..." His eyes widened.
"Splash!"
Tom transformed himself into a giant water ball and pounced on Voldemort, who was caught off guard and sucked into the water from behind.
"Mmm... glug glug..."
Voldemort had no nose but had a mouth, and he choked on a mouthful of water.
Moriarty unleashed his water elemental magic, controlling the flow of water to prevent it from entering William's mouth, nose, and ears, and also supplying William with oxygen.
"It's up to you, Tom!"
Moriarty walked over to the water balloon and splashed some water.
Can Tom devour Voldemort's main soul?
Moriarty's study of the soul was not profound.
This is also a valuable opportunity for experimentation.
At this moment, Lilith and the others also came over, constantly watching the water sphere that was more than five meters high. Voldemort was already floating inside it, emitting black smoke.
"Is he the one who was monitoring Voldemort last night?"
Lilith asked Moriarty if she could touch the water balloon, but then gave up the idea.
