The mastermind behind Hogwarts
Chapter 410 Sirius's Prison Escape
Chapter 410 Sirius's Prison Escape
Moriarty took the wand and casually remarked, "Now you're acting like a man."
Neville got up from the ground, used a spell to dispel his inner demons, and felt refreshed.
More importantly, the stuttering that had bothered me for years when I was nervous has also been corrected.
"This is just a small interest payment. When I become a true wizard, I will come back and kill you!"
Neville glared at Bella and then looked at her again.
Moriarty clapped his hands with obvious admiration. "So, Neville, how long will it take you to become a true wizard?"
Neville thought about it seriously for a moment and said, "Three years."
"I hope you get what you want," Moriarty said with a smile. "We should leave now; this woman is a nuisance until then."
Here, Moriarty implies testing or examining someone.
Neville frowned. "Is it because she'll tell on us? We entered Azkaban without permission, and the Ministry of Magic..."
"Indeed," Moriarty's smile deepened, "Do you have a solution to this problem?"
Neville shook his head. "I don't have a wand yet, and I'm not even a Hogwarts student."
"I'll teach you," Moriarty said softly, pointing his cedarwood wand at the agonizing Bella. "In the magical world, the Imperius Curse has always been a standard feature of dark wizards. It's a simple and practical spell that everyone knows."
Neville listened intently, then said with difficulty, "But I don't think the Imperius Curse is good—I don't like controlling other people."
“I didn’t ask you to control others,” Moriarty said, looking at him. “What I’m going to teach you is the Oblivion Charm! It’s easier to learn than the Imperius Charm, and in some situations, it’s even more useful.”
"Like now, I've completely forgotten everything!"
Moriarty erased Bella's memory of today, then cast a spell on himself and Neville, before striding out of the cell.
Neville hurried after him, then looked up and asked Moriarty, "When can I learn the Forgetfulness Charm?"
"Once you get to Hogwarts, I'll have someone teach you," Moriarty said casually. "Or you can come to my castle and study in your own home, it's up to you."
Neville counted the three options; he decisively said, "I'll stay home and study my spellbooks first, then visit Slytherin Castle. If possible, please allow me to ask you some questions after I enroll!"
Moriarty did not reply. He turned a few corners in the prison and once again arrived at Sirius's cell door.
"What happens next is none of your business. Just stay here and don't wander off unless you want to kiss a Dementor."
Moriarty gave a brief instruction, then pushed open the cell door and went inside.
Neville stood motionless in the doorway like a javelin.
"Bang."
The cell door closed from the inside, and Neville tensed up instantly.
What will happen inside?
The atmosphere in the cell was extremely tense.
Sirius Black discovered Moriarty as soon as he arrived.
He closed the door, blocking Moriarty in the doorway.
Sirius Black stared at Moriarty with his dry, bloodshot eyes and asked softly, "Who are you? What are you doing here?"
Moriarty did not answer, but instead walked around Sirius Black.
The Black family has excellent genes; the men are all handsome and the women are all beautiful.
Even after ten years in prison, with poor food and sleep, and the punishment of Dementors, Sirius Black's good looks remained intact, and his mind remained clear.
But while his spirit was tenacious and resilient, his body couldn't take it. Sirius Black was over 1.8 meters tall, but he weighed less than 100 pounds.
Bella was skin and bones, and Sirius wasn't much better off.
"Who are you!" Sirius Black said fiercely. "Tell me or I'll call the guards!"
The guardians were naturally Dementors. Sirius thought that no one but himself could escape the Dementors, as Animagus were extremely rare.
But to Sirius's surprise, his words seemed to open the door to evil, and Moriarty glanced at him lightly.
Then a surge of magic burst forth, the prison door slammed open, and a beam of ice arrows shot out, striking a group of Dementors.
The Dementor instantly turned into seven ice sculptures.
Another gust of wind appeared out of nowhere, blowing the seven Dementors, frozen into ice blocks, into the cell.
"Bang!"
The cell door slammed shut again.
Neville at the door could hardly believe his eyes, thinking he was seeing things. What on earth had happened?
Sirius was also incredulous. Before he could react, the ice around the Dementors began to melt.
Within seconds, the seven Dementors appeared unharmed in front of Sirius.
not good!
Sirius was about to transform into an Animagus when he discovered that he was powerless to resist and couldn't move at all!
At that moment, Sirius saw Moriarty smile slightly at him, and he was instantly terrified.
Sirius felt a chill run down his spine and up to his head, then quickly spread throughout his body, making him feel cold all over.
Despite it being summer, Sirius felt as if he were in an ice cave.
Moriarty did all of this!
Bring the Dementors in, then seal your magic...
Sirius's trump card against Dementors is his Animagus form. He has always maintained his sanity by using his black dog form to avoid having his soul drained by the Dementors.
But at this moment, Animagus is completely ineffective!
So what's next?
Sirius's eyes widened.
The Dementors had noticed something amiss; a person was standing in front of them, and this person was emanating a faint aura of fear.
Seven Dementors surrounded Sirius Black, but ignored Moriarty standing nearby.
Knowing that Moriarty wasn't invisible, Sirius watched this scene in horror and astonishment. Did this person have no emotions?
In fact, Moriarty simply used Occlumency to make himself indifferent to everything.
The Dementor was getting closer and closer, and Sirius could see its mouth beneath its cloak!
Finished!
Sirius thought in despair that the Ministry of Magic must have discovered he had escaped the Dementors' punishment, which was why they sent this person.
"James, Lily, I can't avenge you!"
Sirius closed his eyes in despair and uttered his last words.
Moriarty chuckled and flicked his fingers, sending a chilling blast of air down from the sky, freezing the seven Dementors into ice sculptures once more.
After waiting a few seconds, Sirius didn't receive the Dementor's kiss. He opened his eyes, his expression gradually turning to surprise.
Before Sirius could react, Moriarty pulled out a newspaper with a picture of the Weasleys on it and shoved it in front of Sirius.
"What's this?" Sirius Black stared wide-eyed for a moment, then exclaimed, "Weasley? A rat!"
When he recognized that the mouse was missing a toe, he let out a fierce roar.
"Peter Pettigrew!!!"
Neville, standing outside the door, shuddered, wondering what kind of deep-seated grudge this person held.
The sound reached Azkaban, and some prisoners on the periphery, still conscious, began to peer inside.
Hordes of Dementors also gathered toward Sirius's cell.
Another team of five Aurors is also on their way.
Moriarty knew they would be drawn here soon, so he pushed the newspaper into Sirius's arms and then pushed him to sit on the bed.
"Can we have a proper talk now?"
Sirius Black stared intently at Scabbers the Rat, his eyes filled with rage and hatred.
Moriarty knew that Sirius was only after revenge, so he said...
"You'll find out who I am soon enough, and you'd better not be too surprised."
There's a reason for that. Why did Moriarty rescue Sirius Black? It was to see Mrs. Malfoy!
And Mrs. Malfoy happens to be Sirius's cousin!
In other words, Sirius Black still has to call Moriarty his brother-in-law!
Of course, none of that matters. What matters is that Sirius is now consumed by revenge and may not necessarily return to the Black family home.
Moriarty analyzed, "I know you just want to arrest and kill that traitor, Little Pettigrew, but you can't do that."
"Have you ever considered that after eleven years of being imprisoned here, you're no match for Little Petrarch?"
"If you attack rashly, you will only let Little Petr get away."
"Even if you can kill him, you'll still be a murderer! You're only wrongfully imprisoned now, but once you've killed someone, you'll become a real criminal!"
"Have you ever thought about what would happen to Harry Potter, James and Lily's only son, after you killed Peter Pettigrew?"
Harry Potter seemed to be Sirius's only remaining rational thought. He abruptly looked up, his lips trembling, "Harry? Harry Potter? Where is he?"
"I regret to inform you that he is not doing well. You should know that Lily Potter has an older sister, and Harry lives with her aunt."
"A Muggle family!!!" Sirius completely lost his temper, crumpling the newspaper into a ball.
His mind is in complete turmoil right now.
The true culprit who betrayed his brothers must be killed and avenged by his own hands.
But his godson was still waiting for him to rescue him!
The demons and angels within Sirius are at war!
In the end, Harry prevailed, and Sirius gritted his teeth and said, "Take me to Harry."
"It seems you've made up your mind," Moriarty smiled slightly, "but you can't look for Harry right now..."
Before he could finish speaking, Sirius Black interrupted him with a furious roar: "Why?"
"If you talk to me like that again, I'll have a Dementor give you a kiss, one every minute!"
Moriarty pointed his wand at Sirius's nose and shook it gently twice.
Moriarty admired Sirius Black, but that didn't mean Sirius Black could question him.
Use your dog brain to figure out why I'm here!
"I can save you from Azkaban, I can help you find Little Pettigrew, I can reunite Harry Potter with you."
"With my testimony, the Ministry of Magic and Wizengamor won't dare utter a single word. You can clear your name and be released from prison."
"I am your benefactor, you should gratefully kiss the back of my feet—of course, I don't care, instead of getting angry at me."
Sirius was stunned. He lowered his head and said, "Yes, I understand. I will do as you say, sir."
Moriarty opened the cell door. "The Dementors and Aurors are coming soon. Come with me."
Seeing the door open, Neville turned around and said, "Sir, the Aurors are here!"
"I understand. Hold on tight to my robe, you're one too—Big Black Dog!"
Sirius looked completely bewildered. A big black dog?
I?
My own Animagus isn't a black dog, is it?
Sirius quickly agreed and held on tightly with Neville.
Just as the Auror was about to run over and the Dementor was about to glance over.
Moriarty used Apparition to take the two of them with him and disappeared.
