The mastermind behind Hogwarts

Chapter 352 Idols and Secrets

Chapter 352 Idols and Secrets (Bonus chapter for the first hall master, He Jiajun!)

After the first round of matches, there is a one-week break.

Moriarty received a reward of 10,000 points from the system, and at the same time found that every time he returned to the Slytherin common room or appeared in public places in the castle, he would instantly cause a cheer and a commotion.

The classroom was not spared either, with more and more foreign young wizards running from the corners to Moriarty's front.

The girl asked Moriarty for his autograph and contact information.

"Moriarty-senpai, please go out with me, please!"

A few minutes before the Spells class, a Lolita student from the magic academy spoke to Moriarty.

At the same time, she clasped her hands together, raised them above her head, her face flushed, and squeezed her legs together.

Moriarty was speechless. Confessing is fine, blushing is understandable, but why are you crossing your legs? And in white stockings no less…

After seeing off the Japanese female student, a French female student arrived.

Her figure was graceful, and her smile was serene.

With a unique romantic flair, she stretched out her snow-white arm and placed a pink envelope on Moriarty's table.

"Looking forward to your reply~"

There was a lip print on the envelope, cherry blossom colored. Moriarty smelled the sea and lowered his head in thought.

"Sir," Keith said admiringly, "could you teach me a few tricks? I also want to win the favor of the senior and junior students."

Lilith chuckled and said, "No, don't learn that. If you do, you'll probably not only get the favor of the younger female students and older female students, but also the younger male students and older female students."

In the middle of the conversation, a tall, burly Durmstrang boy with a thick stubble on his lip passed by the classroom, saw Moriarty, and his eyes lit up with surprise.

He then strode over and bowed deeply to Moriarty.

"Mr. Moriarty! I've decided to become a great mage like you!"

Moriarty sized up the senior student Durmstrang, who was dressed in a black robe and held a staff with a holy air.

The staff's material was unknown, but Moriarty couldn't detect a trace of magic in it.

After the senior left, Lilith said meaningfully, "Oh dear, yet another one."

The other little snakes covered their mouths and chuckled. Besides the girls idolizing Moriarty, the boys were not to be outdone and regarded Moriarty as their idol.

Ever since Moriarty unleashed two cataclysmic spells, his outfits have become a hot topic.

The boys all imitated him, each wearing a black robe and holding a long staff.

Whenever they met Moriarty, they would greet him with respect, nodding and some even bowing deeply.

"Seriously, Moriarty, have you ever considered creating a cult?" Lilith said, half-jokingly and half-seriously. "Let's start now, Lord Moriarty!"

"I prefer being the one in control behind the scenes to being the leader of a cult."

For the first time, Moriarty truly opened up about his feelings.

Lilith's eyes lit up, and she said, "I'm the exact opposite of you. I want to step into the spotlight, achieve something, and make everyone look up to me."

She spread her arms and drew a circle, exclaiming, "Look, this is my achievement!"

"Oh, it sounds like you're just making empty promises to yourself."

"Hey~" Lilith patted Moriarty's arm. "You spoilsport."

Professor Flitwick entered the classroom and began the lesson immediately. He gestured for the little snake and the little eagle to quiet down.

Although the second round of the competition was still three days away, secrets always spread like wildfire, and the details of the second round were being spread like wildfire among the young wizards.

It's unclear who leaked the information, but the claim that the competition would be a 1v1 round-robin tournament received the most support.

Perhaps for this reason, Professor Flitwick has taught some powerful spells in his last two classes.

While the students were practicing independently, Lilith and Moriarty discussed the match details. "I think it'll mostly be a 1v1 round-robin tournament. You think about it."

"The first round of the competition was a team event, which tested the overall strength of the five schools."

"The second round is an individual competition, which will test the players' individual skills."

"Perfectly reasonable."

Moriarty nodded in agreement, and Penelope leaned closer, winked at him, and said, "I have an idea about the match; would you like to hear it?"

"You say it," Moriarty said, looking at Penelope, who often expressed a different opinion.

"Is it possible that the various pieces of information about the competition were deliberately leaked by the school?"

Penelope gave a sly smile, like a little fox, but spoke like a hunter.

"The school deliberately spread rumors, waiting for them to spread. The game with the most popular vote is the one we want to see the most, making it easy for the school to choose."

"That makes a lot of sense," Moriarty nodded. "All five principals are shrewd people, so it's not impossible for them to set up such a scheme. But whatever, I'll be number one."

Moriarty's confidence was by no means arrogance; among the contestants, only Michaela could pique his interest.

When night fell, Moriarty waited until midnight, cast a Disillusionment Charm on himself, and walked into the corridor on the first basement level.

Moriarty walked slowly down the corridor, observing each classroom, and later explored the entire castle.

Instead of finding any trace of Violet, they witnessed a series of interesting events.

The Weasley twins went out for a night stroll at midnight and played hide-and-seek with some of Ilfamoni's students until 2 a.m., when they returned to their Gryffindor dormitories.

Thanks to them, Moriarty learned the password for the Gryffindor common room this week: Pig Nose.

Cedric, accompanied by a senior from Beauxbatons, sneaked into the Hogwarts kitchen at 12:30.

When they came out, Cedric's face was flushed, as if he had done something he shouldn't have.

Moriarty couldn't help but lament that Cedric had been corrupted by the Weasley twins.

At one o'clock in the morning, Sordaya sneaked into the restricted section of the library, his eyes greedily scanning a book that recorded the Illusion Spell.

At two o'clock in the morning, Moriarty saw Nine on the eighth floor, seemingly searching for something, but he found nothing.

Half an hour later, Jiu Neng left, looking rather dejected.

If there's anything special about the eighth floor of the castle, it's that it's the Room of Requirement.

Strange, why would Nine want to find the House of Requirement?

At three in the morning, the castle was deathly silent. Everyone was asleep, but Moriarty was still waiting. Perhaps Violet would appear soon?

Moriarty returned at four in the morning.

Four o'clock is when Violet sleeps the most soundly, and she will only wake up if you tickle the soles of her feet.

Although he didn't find Violet, Moriarty was still uneasy.

The fact that nine people can find the House of Requirement seems to indicate something, yet it's like a dark cloud obscuring a glimmer of light.

For three days in a row, Moriarty wandered around at night, hoping to catch Violet.

But to no avail. On the fourth night, when Moriarty was beginning to suspect that Keith was lying to him, which was 3 a.m. on the day of the second round of the competition.

Violet walked into an empty classroom on the basement level!

Moriarty perked up and added an illusion spell to enhance the magic's effect, making himself even less likely to be detected.

At this point, Violet is very likely possessed by her mother, the Princess.

The Princess may be even stronger than Dumbledore, so Moriarty won't let his guard down.

As Moriarty quietly approached the classroom door, he heard a clear, authoritative female voice say, "There's no chance in the second round. The third round begins..."

"Who is it?"

The woman's voice changed, and her stern shout sounded like a demonic voice in Moriarty's ears!

"Such powerful perception!" Moriarty hurriedly retreated, and he saw Violet walking towards the door, her pupils radiating a sharp golden light.

It's the Princess Consort!

"Dimoaka," Moriarty chanted the spell.

"Splash—"

Violet pushed the door open, but there was no one outside.

Moriarty flew away when he saw Violet's pupils turn gold.

"Who is it?"

Another person came out of the classroom.

Violet said coldly, "I didn't see it. But I know who it was."

"The only people in the castle who could disappear before I even realized it are Albus Dumbledore and Moriarty Slytherin!"

(As mentioned in my author's note, I would add two extra chapters for the first Hall Master. And I keep my word! Here's the first chapter!)
