Chapter 335 The competition begins, Round 1!

Moriarty and Lilith walked toward the fifth long table, skirting around the young wizards as much as possible to avoid bumping into them.

Where did Violet go?

Moriarty noticed that Violet was missing from the auditorium. Everyone else was celebrating, so where could Violet have gone?

"We've arrived," Lilith said softly, in a way that Moriarty could hear but not so much that others would notice.

Moriarty saw Jericho and the twin-tailed girl greet Michaela and Winnie.

After exchanging pleasantries, such as "greeting each other" and "congratulations on becoming representatives," the fifth long table was filled with a joyful atmosphere.

The Japanese students were overjoyed. What an honor it was for a young nobleman from Europe to come and exchange ideas with them!

Michaela and Winnie received a warm welcome and countless compliments.

Lilith felt like vomiting when she saw the Japanese students fawning and groveling.

"Did you deliberately show me their disgusting appearance?" Lilith turned to look at Moriarty.

Although she was invisible, Moriarty guessed that she must be wrinkling her nose and looking at him with a reproachful gaze.

Moriarty pulled Lilith to the wall, choosing a spot where they wouldn't be easily discovered but could still hear Jericho's voice. The two leaned against the wall.

Moriarty said, "Historically, the Japanese have a morbid worship of Western countries. I don't think they'll miss the chance to get close to Michaela. Just watch, Michaela won't be leaving anytime soon."

"What bad luck," Lilith said sullenly, crossing her arms and legs, tossing her hair, and adding, "I'm telling you, Winnie, seeing her boyfriend surrounded by girls has made her jealous."

Jericho promptly turned his head to the side and started telling jokes to the girl with twin tails.

With a tone of intense anger, Michaela turned and walked away without looking back, Winnie following behind him.

In Michaela's view, it was already a great honor for Jericho that a seventh-grader like herself, and the strongest student at Beauxbatons, would condescend to come to Jericho.

As long as you subtly hint at your willingness to join forces, Jericho will come running over like a lapdog.

However, Jericho had completely outmaneuvered him!

Michaela and Winnie were met with a rebuff.

Meanwhile, Dumbledore returned to the front of the Great Hall, to the most prominent position.

Dumbledore said casually, looking at the young wizard below with a doting gaze.

Old Deng treated every young wizard as his own child.

"I guess you haven't had enough fun, haven't had enough fun," Dumbledore said kindly, like an old man, "but I have to interrupt you because I'm about to announce the rules of the competition."

"Oh Merlin, what a fast pace!"

This immediately caused a stir.

"Aren't you really going to give our representatives more time to adjust?" the male student leader stood up and said. "You know, this is their first time participating in a competition like this."

Many people nodded in agreement.

There are also those who object.

Michaela said loudly, "Don't confuse me with you. While you are enjoying the comforts of campus life, I have already ventured out into Eastern Europe on my own and I am adept at handling any unexpected situations that may arise."
