The mastermind behind Hogwarts

Chapter 286 Six Days and Seven Nights at the Magic Institute

Chapter 286 Six Days and Seven Nights at the Magic Institute (Part Two)

"She's walking towards us." Jericho's tone was filled with delight as he stared at the high school girl's twin tails with great interest.

"You've never seen twin tails before, have you?" Moriarty glared at Jericho.

Lilith glanced at Jericho with displeasure. "Should we ask Helena to talk to us after school starts?"

"I think it's very necessary." Moriarty pretended that he really wanted to talk to Helena about Jericho.

Jericho waved his hands repeatedly: "I'm not watching anymore. No matter how good it is, I'm not watching anymore. I'm just scared of you two."

In the blink of an eye, he had found an excuse for his behavior, and said to his companion with a smile, "The girl with twin tails doesn't know us, but she came straight at us. What does that mean? It means she has ulterior motives."

"We can all see it, so let's not say it out loud," Lilith retorted.

"Alright, then I'll tell you something you don't know," Jericho chuckled, "I bet you guys the twin tails' target is Moriarty."

"Tsk," Lilith glanced at Moriarty, a strange smile flashing in her eyes, "Maybe it really is."

"So, Miss, hurry up and take some action," Jericho urged with ill intent.

Lilith wasn't fooled. She scoffed, "You American cowboy with ill intentions. Looks like I'll have to talk to Helena. What's going on in your head?"

As they talked, the girl with twin ponytails walked to the back of the classroom, her red eyes scrutinizing Moriarty and the others, and asked, "Who speaks Japanese?"

Lilith and the others were stunned for a moment because they didn't expect the twin-tailed girl to be speaking Japanese.

On second thought, it seems that Japanese people have no problem speaking Japanese.

However, they don't speak Japanese and can't understand the question about twin tails.

The Slit-Mouthed Woman's eyes lit up, and she translated, "She asked us, 'Can you understand Japanese?'"

Everyone suddenly realized what was happening, but Moriarty had already spoken first.

"We don't speak Japanese, please speak English."

Simon looked at Moriarty with suspicion. "Your entire conversation with the head of the Tokugawa family was in Japanese. Did you think I didn't see it?!"

Considering Moriarty's behavior throughout the journey, Simon knew that Moriarty must have had a reason for doing so.

There wasn't any deeper meaning behind it; Moriarty simply didn't want to interact with the girl with twin tails.

The girl with the twin tails could speak English, and in fluent London accent said that the sofa here originally belonged to her, but now it had been occupied by Moriarty and his group.

The implication was that Moriarty should quickly give up the sofa.

Jericho stared wide-eyed at the arrogant twin tails.

He used to think that Lilith's spoiled princess temper was already bad enough, but after seeing the twin tails today, he finally understood what a real spoiled princess temper was!

That's too domineering.

The slight goodwill that the twin-tail watch had initially brought was completely gone.

Jericho adopted an arrogant expression and spoke slowly and sarcastically:

"Big sister, is your name written on this sofa?"

Don't you understand the concept of first come, first served? Where do you get the confidence to expect us to give you our seats?

Based on the fact that you used to sit here?

This is disgusting! Don't take your school's bad habits as your life motto. We have no reason to tolerate this!

The girl with twin ponytails immediately turned gloomy, and she waved her hand, attracting a group of magic students from behind her.

"Throw them out of the school!"

The Slit-Mouthed Woman translated the Twin-Tailed Woman's words completely.

Jericho scoffed and looked at Moriarty for his opinion: "Sir, may I use magic to teach these extremely arrogant students a lesson?"

Moriarty leaned back on the sofa. The students all looked mature beyond their years, not like twelve or thirteen-year-old boys and girls. You could easily believe they were middle-aged men.

No wonder people often say that junior high and middle school students in Japan don't seem like students at all.

If it were a kind and mature older man, we could sit down and have a talk, but these people are fierce and repulsive, they don't look like students at all.

If he weren't sitting in a magic school classroom, Moriarty would have thought he had wandered into gang territory.

"There are 10 minutes left before the lecture starts, you only have 10 minutes."

Moriarty calmly told Jericho, who nodded in satisfaction, stood up, and gave a confident smile, "Ten minutes is enough."

"Wait, wait," Simon exclaimed in surprise, "Using magic outside of school? Aren't you afraid of violating the regulations of the British Ministry of Magic?"

He and his wife exchanged a glance. For business reasons, they had been to England, where the power of the British Ministry of Magic had left a deep impression on them.

"So what if it violates the rule that minors cannot use magic outside of school?"

"Since when have Aurors from the Ministry of Magic dared to come to our homes and arrest people?!"

Lilith said proudly that she had practiced spells with her family's old wand since she was a child, and no Auror dared to go to Pilivik Manor to capture her.

Moriarty chuckled. "You recited the name of that regulation word for word. I think the Pilivik family must have been involved in the formulation of this regulation."

"That's right," Lilith nodded gently, "but it also involves tracking threads, which I don't know much about."

"I'm about to have a duel with someone, can you guys pay attention to me for once!" Jericho waved his hands, hoping to get their attention when he saw his two friends talking about the "trace" issue.

"Hey, hey~" Lilith said with a laugh, "You have 9 minutes left."

Jericho hurriedly turned around, only to find himself surrounded by shikigami!

The students pushed away the sofas and coffee tables in the classroom, leaving a wide open space where about twenty different shikigami surrounded Jericho.

A Japanese student in a purple robe stared at Jericho with ill intent: "American kid, you better give up your seat, or we'll make sure you spend the rest of your life in a wheelchair."

Jericho frowned. "I don't understand what you're saying, that's true, but that won't stop me from giving you a lesson you'll never forget."

"Disarm you!"

He suddenly stretched out his hand, the magic wand flicked into his hand, and shot out a beam of red light, which hit the nearest shikigami wielding dual swords.

"Bang!"

The dual swords were knocked away, and the shikigami was carried back a few steps by the inertia.

Jericho smirked: "So the Disarming Spell works on shikigami too. I've been wanting to verify that for a while now."

Seeing Jericho's relaxed demeanor, Lilith and Moriarty started chatting about lighthearted topics.

"The Japanese students look too old; you can't tell what grade they're in at all. Those in purple and pink robes don't seem to be a match for Jericho."

Moriarty explained, "You have a point. The pink robe is equivalent to the third year, and the purple robe is equivalent to the fourth year."

Even at Hogwarts, Jericho would be capable of defeating some fourth-year students.

Just as the two judged, Jericho unleashed a series of spells, and he also applied the movement techniques of a Quidditch player to the game.

Jericho's attacks are unpredictable, often unleashing magical spells from unexpected directions and tricky angles.

"Flames are raging!"

"Sand and stones flying everywhere!"

"Disarm you!"

"Torn apart!"

"Pfft, pfft, pfft..."

The sound of shikigami shattering filled the classroom, and the number of shikigami decreased sharply within three minutes.

The girl with twin ponytails stared intently at Jericho, her red eyes gleaming with a strange light.

Feeling utterly humiliated, the purple-robed students exchanged a glance and joined forces to cast a spell, causing their shikigami to double in size.

A large bear, a blue wolf, a demon warrior, and a monster that looked like a monkey pounced on Jericho.

"Imprisonment of the Void!"

A ruthless glint flashed in Jericho's eyes as he raised his wand and aimed it at the bear's back.

He mobilized one-third of his magic power and rushed forward, trapping the air directly behind him as if it had vanished.

Having lost the support of the air behind it, the air in front of it acted like an incredibly powerful pusher, giving the bear a hard shove!

The bear was pushed flying, its massive body crashing into the blue wolf, the demon warrior, and the monster, pinning them to the ground.

"Without your shikigami, you're nothing but a bunch of useless trash!"

Jericho scoffed loudly and used Swift Restraint on the several dumbfounded purple-robed students.

The students were tied up tightly with ropes. Jericho glared menacingly at the students watching. The other students lowered their heads in fear, none of them wanting to fight Jericho.

Jericho nodded in satisfaction and turned to Moriarty, saying, "Ten minutes have just passed, sir. How was my performance? Please give me a score."
