Moriarty looked over at Simon, who was being held down in a chair by two bodyguards, staring blankly at the ghoul.

Lend me Simon?

Although it is true that one must repay what one borrows, it is still a basic pride and gentlemanly courtesy of a pureblood.

But, do we still need to pay back for dealing with Tokugawa?

Moriarty believed it was unnecessary.

Of course, on the surface, Moriarty appeared to agree readily.

"Deal, my lord. We have reached an agreement."

The Tokugawa patriarch's expression softened, and he reviewed the terms of the agreement: "You help me resolve the crisis on the cruise ship, and I'll take you to the magic institute and lend you Simon for three days—is that enough time?"

Moriarty hesitated for a moment. There was still a week until the start of school on September 1st. Excluding today, he could stay in Japan for six days.

"I need to borrow Simon for six days. During those six days, he must stay with me at all times."

Moriarty's words left the Tokugawa patriarch furious but unable to speak out. He sighed, "Surely I can send bodyguards to follow him."

"Sure, of course," Moriarty shrugged, saying magnanimously, "That's your prerogative, but hopefully your bodyguards can keep up with me."

The Tokugawa patriarch, unable to grasp the deeper meaning behind Moriarty's words, said stiffly, "Then, please step in and resolve the crisis on the cruise ship."

"OK." Moriarty casually replied, flicked his wrist, and the cedarwood wand sprang into his hand, which he then waved at the four ghouls.

"brush!"

The ghoul's skin was covered with a layer of frost, and a blizzard suddenly appeared above its head, freezing the ghoul into an ice sculpture.

Moriarty tapped the ghoul four times with his wand, detonating the water elemental magic contained within the ice and snow.

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!"

The four ghouls exploded one after another, leaving not even a trace behind.

"Ding-dong~ Host detected killing Tokyo Ghoul, 300 points gained."

Although the ghouls ate a lot of people, these people were all Muggles and their points were not very high.

It's better than nothing, I suppose.

Moriarty thought indifferently, slightly turning his head to scan the hall and observe the crowd's reactions.

Ninety-nine percent of the guests were dumbfounded, not because of the magic, after all, they had witnessed the appearance and battle of the shikigami.

Rather, it was because Moriarty effortlessly eliminated the terrifying ghouls, the entire process taking no more than twenty seconds.

The head of the Tokugawa family stared at Moriarty, his face grim and his eyes filled with disbelief.

Thinking back to what he had said and his imperious tone, the Tokugawa patriarch's legs trembled.

Simon was the funniest.

The Hebrew connoisseur pointed at Moriarty and shouted.

"Look, it's a small wooden stick!"

"Wizard! Wizard! Grandfather was right, you are a wizard!"

"The magical world is real, I saw it!"

Simon tried to stand up, but his two loyal bodyguards held him down by the shoulders each time, pressing him back into his seat.

Moriarty glanced suspiciously at the two bodyguards; their reactions were too bland, but Moriarty found no suspicious location.

Simon's shouts continued, and Moriarty waved his magic at the crowd, "Forget everything."

The Oblivion Spell, improved by the Master of Oblivion Lockhart, was truly different; Moriarty effortlessly erased the guests' memories of his use of magic.

"You all stay here, I'm going to destroy the giant squid."

Moriarty glanced at the head of the Tokugawa family, who nodded repeatedly.

"Phantom appearance".

Moriarty vanished instantly and then reappeared on the railing of the port side of the cruise ship.

Looking down at the sea, based on the information transmitted by the ice raft, Moriarty located the giant squid's position, which was between the 3rd and 17th windows on the second row of windows on the right side of the cruise ship.

It was a long distance. Moriarty flew overhead, and the giant squid's head was underwater.

He released the magic of water elements towards the sea, like a trickle flowing into the ocean.

Moriarty had devised a plan to deal with the giant squid:

Strictly speaking, giant squid are not magical creatures.

It is simply enormous in size and possesses incredible power.

However, they do not possess magic or any special abilities.

Once it encounters a magical creature of equal weight that also possesses magic, the giant squid can only flee.

Once you understand the giant squid's weaknesses, it becomes much easier to deal with.

Moriarty continued to unleash water elemental magic. After becoming a level 50 mage, his magic power increased almost fivefold, and it was completely free of impurities.

The pure water elemental magic mixed with the seawater and quickly took over, turning the 300-foot radius of the cruise ship into Moriarty's domain.

"Gentle Blue Whale!"

Moriarty waved his cedarwood wand, and waves surged from the surface of the water. Magic gathered underwater, constantly changing shape, and finally transformed into a blue whale.

The blue whale swam toward the giant squid, which then emitted a defiant cry.

"Heh." Moriarty sneered, and the blue whale opened its mouth wide, blowing out a series of bubbles.

The bubbles that fight the Fallen Raven are both a protector and a purifier.

This time, it was an explosion!

Moriarty used the properties of water to transform bubbles into ice magic.

The bubbles flew to the giant squid and, with the help of the water's flow, covered its entire body.

"Bang bang bang..."

The giant squid's flesh was bombarded by a series of ice explosions. Unlike the ghoul's skin, the squid's skin was not tough, and small pits were blasted into its flesh, leaving it a bloody mess.

The giant squid screamed in pain, loosened its grip on the cruise ship with its eight tentacles, and lunged at the blue whale.

The cruise ship regained its stability, and Moriarty seized the opportunity when the tentacles extended, waving his wand and slashing down at the eight tentacles.

"Whirlwind Cut!"

Clusters of whirlwinds transformed into wind blades, flying into the sea. The smooth, sharp blades struck the tentacles, slicing the eight tentacles into several pieces.

Gushes of blood gushed from the massive wound. The giant squid convulsed in pain, writhing wildly underwater, sending up a surge of bloody water.

The giant squid let out a mournful cry, spewed out a cloud of black ink, abandoned its intention to continue fighting, and fled into the depths of the Pacific Ocean.

Moriarty was too lazy to give chase. He released the blue whale, withdrew his water elemental magic, and after casting a forgetfulness spell on the people on the deck, he returned to the hall on the ninth floor.

The head of the Tokugawa family, accompanied by Simon and bodyguards, came to greet them.

"Sir, thank you. Please accept the Tokugawa family's friendship."

The head of the Tokugawa family already knew that the giant squid had been driven away, as the cruise ship had regained its stability and resumed normal operation.

He smiled and extended his right hand.

Moriarty didn't answer; he thought it was dirty.

"I'm taking the person with me to fulfill my promise."

Moriarty gestured with his chin toward Simon, indicating that Simon should be released.

The head of the Tokugawa family ordered his bodyguards to release Simon, and Simon ran to Moriarty's side.

"Hey, Wick! You didn't tell me you were a wizard! And you made me tell you about the magical world—you know it better than anyone!"

Simon may have social bullying, like the Weasley twins.

Moriarty glanced at Simon, and the Tokugawa patriarch clapped his hands with a smile. "So your name is Wick? That's wonderful, Mr. Wick. I cordially invite you to my treasure appraisal event."

"The appraisal event is cancelled," Moriarty said firmly. "Now, turn the ship around and take us to Tokyo."

"But...but we only left Tokyo Port at noon," the Tokugawa patriarch said sheepishly.

I don't want to say it a second time.

"Fine," the Tokugawa patriarch snorted, a hint of anger in his eyes, "then what about my treasure appraisal committee?"

"I'll take care of it on the way back," Moriarty waved his hand and walked into a room. "I won't interfere in your private affairs."

After confirming that there was only one shikigami wielding large scissors in the Great Song Shikigami Token, Moriarty immediately lost interest in the five treasures and the Treasure Appraisal Meeting.

He now believes that Simon may be the reason why ghouls and giant squid attacked the cruise ship!

Moriarty rested in his room for a while, and at 7 p.m., the appraisal meeting was held.

Moriarty admired the treasures for a while, and Simon, true to his family's expertise in appraising treasures, offered insightful commentary on the five artifacts.

At 9:40 p.m. sharp, the cruise ship returned to port.

Moriarty led Simon out of Tokyo Port, followed by two bodyguards—the same two expressionless bodyguards who had been watching over Simon.

Moriarty could shake them off with a single illusion, so he ignored them.

Stepping out of Tokyo Port, perhaps feeling free from the Tokugawa family's control, Simon pleaded with Moriarty.

"Wick, my friend, can you come with me to Haneda International Airport? My wife and daughter are taking the 12:30 flight tonight."

Moriarty agreed, as he could learn more about Simon through the family.

However, as they walked out onto the street, Moriarty saw a woman approaching from ahead.

The woman wore a pure white long trench coat over a black turtleneck sweater and a black lace mini skirt, paired with red high heels and long stockings, her figure graceful and elegant.

His face seemed to be deliberately concealing his good looks, with half of his face covered by a large mask.

However, judging from her eyebrows and eyes, she is definitely not unattractive, and her long, wavy hair makes her even more sexy.

However, overall, it seemed somewhat out of place on the streets of Tokyo.

In Tokyo in August, the temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius. Moriarty and Simon both became wary of the woman's attire.

"Ding-dong~ Host detected that the Tokyo Slit-Mouthed Woman has been discovered. Mission issued."

Task 1: Forcefully kiss the Slit-Mouthed Woman!

"To die beneath the peony blossoms is to die a romantic death, even as a ghost. For now, ignore what she says, host, don't speak, just kiss her!"
