"With pleasure, my lady."
Moriarty took Mrs. Malfoy's hand, pulled her up from the sofa, and stood side by side with her in front of the diary.
They each extended their free left and right hands, pinched a corner of the diary, picked it up together, held it up to their eyes, and pressed their eyes against the small window.
This movement caused Madame Malfoy's forehead to touch Moriarty's forehead. Madame Malfoy instinctively flinched, and then felt herself lean forward.
She saw the window getting bigger, and she felt her body leave the ground, her head falling forward into the gap in that page.
"Ah~ Moriarty!"
The sudden loss of balance made Mrs. Malfoy cry out in surprise. She was surprised that her first thought was of Moriarty, but then she immediately felt a warmth coming from her right hand.
She saw Moriarty smile faintly at her, touch her right hand, and softly say, "Let's go in together."
Mrs. Malfoy had never heard Moriarty speak to her in such a gentle tone. Just as she was about to savor the memory, Moriarty pulled her along into a world of swirling colors and light.
The next moment, she felt her feet land on solid ground.
She trembled and could not stand steadily, her hands resting on the arms of the person next to her, her cheeks almost pressed against Moriarty's chest.
Damn it! She and Moriarty are way too close!
Mrs. Malfoy realized that she had had too much physical contact with Moriarty today, so she quickly stood up straight and withdrew her right hand from Moriarty's left hand.
Moriarty let Madame Malfoy do as she pleased, and his interest shifted to the present place.
They stood in a doorway, from which lay a spacious room with silver carpets and medieval tapestries hanging on the walls.
There were four beds in the center of the room, old-fashioned and elegant four-poster beds, with green silk curtains hanging on them.
A tall, handsome young man sat on the innermost bed, coldly staring at Moriarty and Madame Malfoy.
Moriarty glanced at the nameplate on the bed rail.
Tom Riddell.
Add to that her stunningly beautiful face, black hair, and black eyes.
It's definitely me.
"Ding-dong~ The host has been detected to have discovered Voldemort's first soul fragment. The host is rewarded with three exploration lottery draws."
Moriarty was intrigued by the system's explanation and asked, "Soul Fragment Number 1?"
The system explained: "Yes, Voldemort's soul split seven times, giving birth to eight soul fragments."
Six of them were made into Horcruxes, one inside Harry Potter and one inside Voldemort himself.
This system designates the soul fragment within Voldemort's own body as the main soul.
Tom Riddle's diary, Marvolo Gaunt's ring, Slytherin's locket, Hufflepuff's cup, Ravenclaw's tiara, Nagini, and the Soul Shard from Harry Potter are designated as Soul Shards 1 through 7, respectively.
Moriarty nodded to indicate that he understood. Harry Potter had a fragment of Voldemort's soul residing within him, and it seemed that he would need to find this seventh fragment through some means.
However, right now, it is the first fragment of the soul that attracts Moriarty's attention more.
Young Voldemort was really handsome, fitting the characteristics of a Slytherin.
Making him carry on the family line wouldn't be considered a disgrace to Slytherin.
Moriarty observed Tom with great interest, but there was one thing he never revealed.
That means, in terms of seniority, Tom is a generation younger than Moriarty.
If the two meet, Tom should call Moriarty "Uncle".
This is why Moriarty always called Voldemort "Little Tom".
But for little Tom at this moment, he is trying to combine Moriarty and Rupert Hagrid.
Is that handsome, otherworldly boy with gray hair and gray eyes not far away, Rupert Hagrid?
He preferred to believe Merlin had been resurrected rather than believe it.
So, he was just being played?
A crimson glint flashed in Tom's eyes.
I, Voldemort, destined to rule the magical world, was actually tricked by a boy!
Anger and shame nearly made Tom stand up and give Moriarty a Cruciatus Curse, to demonstrate his skills in casting spells without a staff and without sound.
But when Tom saw Moriarty's gray hair and gray eyes, he hesitated.
After thinking for a moment, his gaze shifted several times, finally turning to terror as he looked at Moriarty:
No, this person isn't Hagrid; he looks more like old Salazar!
Tom decided to remain silent for the time being and observe Moriarty's actions from the sidelines.
This resulted in Moriarty and Tom looking at each other without saying a word.
However, Mrs. Malfoy, ignoring the increasingly tense atmosphere in the room, stepped into the room in her little boots.
"The Slytherin dungeon's dormitory!" Mrs. Malfoy circled the room briefly, a hint of excitement on her face. "It's my first time in a boys' dormitory."
Moriarty continued, "This is the dormitory layout from fifty years ago; our beds were placed in the four corners."
Tom's eyes narrowed as he caught the key information: fifty years ago.
In other words, these two people are from fifty years in the future?
Tom glanced at Moriarty and Mrs. Malfoy again, this time focusing more on Mrs. Malfoy.
Mrs. Malfoy was dignified, and even when she occasionally showed girlish joy, it was incomparable to that of an ordinary woman.
This woman...does she look a bit like Mrs. Black?
Tom, accompanied by his friend Abraxas Malfoy, saw Mrs. Black from afar.
Mrs. Black shared the same pride as the blonde woman before her.
It seems to be a pureblood.
Tom's aversion to Mrs. Malfoy had lessened considerably, but he still couldn't figure out Moriarty's true nature, so he chose to continue observing.
After Moriarty's explanation, Mrs. Malfoy gave a soft "Oh" and turned her gaze to Tom's face.
She looked at Tom, then turned to examine Moriarty more closely this time than she had before.
Moriarty, with a composed expression, let Mrs. Malfoy look at him for a while. When Mrs. Malfoy still didn't look away, he raised his eyebrows.
"I must have an ancient runic magic book on my face that you've been looking at for three minutes and still haven't put down."
Mrs. Malfoy smiled faintly and shook her head, saying, "No, you don't have runes on your face, but two words are written all over it."
"you say."
"Doesn't look like it!"
"Doesn't look like it?"
"Hmm." Mrs. Malfoy raised her head and looked down at Tom, then glanced at Moriarty.
"You two are both descendants of Slytherin, which means you're related! But you don't look alike at all."
Tom was shocked upon hearing this, and his eyes contracted sharply once again.
Mrs. Malfoy's words kept replaying in his mind:
You two are both descendants of Slytherin!
They are all descendants of Slytherin!
Descendants of Slytherin!
Descendants!
Tom has just opened the Chamber of Secrets and become the heir to Slytherin. His confidence and vanity are off the charts, and he is in a state of extreme arrogance and excitement.
But he was struck down by a single sentence from Mrs. Malfoy.
It took Tom a lot of effort to come to his senses.
Descendants!
Descendants of Slytherin!
They are all descendants of Slytherin!
We are both descendants of Slytherin!
Tom muttered these words to himself.
But Moriarty gave a dismissive snort. "If you knew Tom Riddle's background, you wouldn't say such a thing, my lady."
Tom was struck dumb.
life experience……
He is a descendant of the Gauntlet family, the last branch of the Slytherin family.
A very illustrious background.
But if there is one flaw, it is his Muggle father.
Tom suddenly tensed up. He stopped scrutinizing Moriarty and Mrs. Malfoy as he had before and silently withdrew his gaze.
He had a premonition that Moriarty knew about his past and was going to reveal it!
Sure enough, Mrs. Malfoy followed up on Moriarty's words and asked, "His lineage? Isn't he from the Gaunt family? Old Malfoy always used to bring that up."
Moriarty glanced at Tom and chuckled, "Tom Riddle is indeed from the Gaunt family, but his father—Old Tom Riddle—was a Muggle."
Therefore, he can only be considered a descendant of the Gaunt family.
If you absolutely must be considered a descendant of the Slytherin family, then you can only be ranked after me.
My bloodline is purer than his, and I am of a higher generation than him.
"Seniority?" Mrs. Malfoy opened her red lips in surprise, then quickly covered her mouth with her hand, asking curiously, "You've never mentioned this before. So, between the two of you, who is older?"
Moriarty gave Mrs. Malfoy a strange look. "Are you sure you want me to answer that question? Who's older?"
Mrs. Malfoy felt embarrassed by Moriarty's gaze. She quickly understood the meaning behind his words, and two alluring blushes appeared on her fair cheeks.
"Honestly, you know perfectly well that's not what I meant! I can't exactly ask, 'Which of you two is older?'"
