The mastermind behind Hogwarts

Chapter 197 The Juniors and Seniors in the Small Cafeteria

"Oh! Oh... this is so sudden," Tonks stammered in surprise, "you caught me completely off guard."

"You have plenty of time to prepare," Moriarty said softly. "There's still an afternoon before the dinner begins."

"Alright then," Tonks placed her hand on Moriarty's other hand, like a princess letting a prince hold her hand, her eyes brimming with immense joy.

She said, "Since the junior student sincerely invited me, I will reluctantly agree. However, you have to promise me one thing."

Tonks tilted her head up in a coquettish manner, her hair turning into a bubble-pink color, which, combined with her delicate rosy heart-shaped face, made her look like a red heart in Moriarty's eyes.

Moriarty glanced around at the cutting boards, knives, and several large pots, and guessed, "You're not going to ask me to let you cook these dishes, are you?"

"Hmm... Can I finish them?" Tonks's usually powerful voice softened, like a kitten yawning, gently and softly brushing against Moriarty's ear like a feather.

"At least finish this dish," Tonks said, using magic to float the half-cut Buddha's Hand in front of Moriarty, and said in a sweet voice, "Junior, little brother~"

"Alright, go on. I have every reason to believe that you'll be able to open Hogsmeade's first restaurant in the future." Moriarty squeezed Tonks's small, fair hand and instructed, "Don't make your hands rough."

"Okay, you can go now." Tonks pushed Moriarty out of the room. "Next up is kitchen time."

Moriarty shook his head with amusement. What was Tonks doing, juggling multiple roles?

As a Quidditch player, she aspired to become an Auror in the Ministry of Magic, and now she's a magical little chef.

If Moriarty remembers correctly, Slytherin Castle has many cooks' clothes, which Luke keeps in a dressing room.

Moriarty envisioned a black and white dress with a short hem that barely covered her hips, and Tonks could perhaps use a pair of stockings to encase her long, slender legs.

Moriarty's eyes narrowed with pleasure at the thought of Tonks in her cook's outfit. Tonks's heart fluttered under his gaze. She tugged at Moriarty's sleeve, trying to change the subject: "You invited me to be your dance partner, but what about Lilith, Penelope, and Gemma Farley?"

"We are not them, and we can't put ourselves in their shoes to consider things from their perspective," Moriarty said calmly. "Besides, they are still young girls, and I give them the right to throw tantrums."

"Hey!" Tonks nudged Moriarty. "I've always thought of them as little sisters."

"So you're a big girl now." Moriarty's gaze roamed unabashedly over Tonks, then he leaned closer and whispered in her ear, "Of course, you also have the right to throw a tantrum with me, always."

"That's not what I meant." Tonks shrank back, Moriarty's breath tickling her neck, making her skin tingle and her heart itch.

"So what do you mean, huh?"

"Are you really inviting me, junior? It's not too late to take it back now; I don't even have a decent dress." Tonks looked dejected.

"Don't worry, I'll get everything ready for you."

"But……"

"There aren't that many 'buts'. If you feel you owe me money, then think about how to repay it."

"I'll cook for you."

"Cooking is not enough, far from enough."

The cheerful voices of boys and girls echoed from the Hufflepuff Canteen, quickly turning into intimate whispers.

Before long, they parted ways. In the time that Moriarty had returned from Hufflepuff's Dining Room to the Slytherin Dungeon, news of Moriarty finding a dance partner, Tonks, had spread throughout the castle.

The young wizards thought they were a perfect match, but the mischievous boys were curious to see how the girls would react.

But the expected crying and fuss did not occur among the girls. They calmly accepted the fact as if nothing had happened, continuing to admire Moriarty while searching for dance partners for their companions.

Therefore, the young wizards rarely see lone girls, which makes it difficult for them to invite them out, except for the Gryffindor lion cubs, of course.

Their courage is not only reflected in the face of the unknown.

They are equally bold and courageous when facing the opposite sex, like the Weasley twins.

George and Fred invite Angelina to be their dance partner in the Gryffindor common room.

Angelina was baffled. How could one person be a dance partner for two?

So the twins and Angelina started a discussion.

Later, Lee Jordan also joined the discussion. He seemed to want to invite Angelina as well.

For the first time, Angelina felt confident in herself; she had never imagined that she would be admired by others.

But she was annoyed: "Merlin, you want me to dance with the three of you? We might as well all four of us do aerobics together."

Unfortunately, the twins didn't know what aerobics was.

The girls from the other three colleges used this incident as a negative example to tell their boyfriends.

When the news reached Jericho's ears, he laughed and teased Leon, saying that he and the Weasley twins were the same kind of people, losers who were rejected by girls.

Leon, his face grim, began searching for a dance partner within Slytherin to prove he wasn't a loser, but he was destined to fail.

Most of the girls in Slytherin had found male partners. The few girls who didn't have male partners all had close relationships with Moriarty. Leon felt that they hadn't considered finding any other dance partners besides Moriarty, so he left Slytherin dejectedly.

Fortunately, thanks to Moriarty and Tonks, the relationship between Hufflepuff and Slytherin has been good in recent years, and Leon was able to finally invite a seventh-year Hufflepuff girl.

At 6:40, as darkness fell, Marcus knocked on Moriarty's bedroom door: "Sir, we should be leaving."

The door was flung open with a bang, and Keith and Larpo, dressed in dark gray robes, led the way.

Moriarty emerged from inside, wearing a brand-new, silver formal robe. Combined with his handsome face and noble demeanor, he instantly became the most eye-catching person.

He held the Slytherin staff in his left hand, and Jericho stood to his left rear, following Moriarty into the common room.

The little snakes were already waiting here, dressed in their newest clothes, their ranks neat and orderly, appearing solemn and dignified.

Leon, dressed in a black tuxedo, bowed slightly: "Awaiting your instructions, my sir."

Moriarty glanced at the crowd and said calmly, "Let's go."

He strode outside, Marcus followed, flanking Jericho on either side, while Leon led the snakes behind.

After the group left, the two doors of the girls' dormitory opened, and Lilith and Gemma Farley quietly walked out. They looked at each other in surprise, then smiled at each other, walked together, linked arms, and walked out of the stone gate.

When they arrived at the foyer, they found that the hall had been decorated and adorned, with the walls covered in glittering gold and silver frost.

The ceiling retains the starry night sky and is adorned with hundreds of mistletoe twigs and garlands woven from various flowers and plants.

The professors' seats became the main seats, and the four college tables disappeared, replaced by a hundred small tables with candles and wine glasses.

It seems Dumbledore has allowed the students to have a little wine today, Lilith thought to herself.

They didn't see Headmaster Dumbledore and the professors, presumably they hadn't arrived, but Moriarty led the little snakes in.

His appearance elicited cheers from the boys and screams from the girls.

Moriarty smiled and nodded to the crowd, displaying impeccable manners, as he searched for something among them.

Until a splash of red drifted down from the first-floor steps, attracting everyone's attention.

It was Tonks. She was wearing a long red dress that clung to her body as smoothly as silk, without a single wrinkle.

As if to match the dress, she specially changed her long hair to burgundy and tied it into an elegant updo at the back of her head.

She wore a pair of amethyst high heels, as if stepping on two bunches of violets, creating a fragrant breeze.

Tonks walked up to Moriarty, smiling sweetly, "Sorry to keep you waiting."

Moriarty extended his right arm to her. "Everything is just right, my little cook."

Tonks linked arms with Moriarty and rested her head on his shoulder quite naturally. "I thought you were going to say 'my princess'."

"I never tell fairy tales, you know that." Moriarty led her to a seat near the head table. "Marcus, go and call Charlie, as well as the male and female chairpersons. I've suddenly had a great idea."
