The mastermind behind Hogwarts
Chapter 185 The National Team Arrives
Chapter 185 The National Team Arrives
With both teams training, the week flew by, and it was November 11th, the second Friday of November.
Hogwarts was exceptionally lively today, with the castle decorated in a sporty style, filled with Quidditch elements, and red and gold as the main colors, symbolizing passion and glory.
The little snakes felt that the main color represented Gryffindor and suggested that the school change the gold to silver.
But since the runner-up is the silver medal and the champion is the gold medal.
The main color scheme was decided upon by the school administration, the board of directors, and the dream team, symbolizing victory in the match two hours later.
The board members strongly supported the dream team, and they sent people to hang colorful ribbons on the castle's outer walls and display various broom models.
The enchanted golden thief whizzed past, dancing like a little elf in the morning light.
The headmasters ordered their students to line up in front of the castle gates, but the young wizards were so engrossed in admiring the Quidditch-style castle that they lined up crookedly.
Just then, Dumbledore, who was standing in the front row with the other professors, shouted, "Ah, if I'm not mistaken, Ludo and the national team have arrived!"
The Dream Team players also stood with them, all dressed in matching outfits.
Moriarty gripped the Slytherin staff, the end of which gently touched the ground, allowing the magic to fully contact the earth. He sensed a mixed magical force moving towards him.
"Where is it?" many students asked anxiously, looking in different directions.
"In the southwest." Moriarty looked up.
"Look there, look! What a huge house!" a fifth-grade student shouted, pointing to the sky above the Forbidden Forest.
"Don't talk nonsense, that's not a house, it's a carriage," Jericho said.
His guess was right. As the enormous, dark creature swept across the treetops of the Forbidden Forest, they saw a huge blue-purple carriage flying toward them.
It was as big as half a house, and twelve winged horses pulled it into the air. They were all silver-maned horses, and they ran faster than the wind.
Marcus, seeing that Pegasus's fur was gray, shouted, "It's Glaling! Pegasus's name is Glaling!"
Everyone looked at Marcus in surprise, and even the professors' eyes showed a hint of astonishment.
Professor Snape, without moving his lips, said to Dumbledore, "Mr. Flint is the first Slytherin to show interest in magical creatures."
Dumbledore smiled happily, as did Hagrid, who gave Marcus a jubilant look.
It seems to be saying, "After that thing lands, let's go see the lovely Graling."
That's Moriarty's assessment.
Under Hagrid's eager gaze, the carriage descended at incredible speed. The young wizards barely had time to catch a glimpse of an English emblem on the door before it opened.
A wizard dressed in a yellow and black tracksuit jumped down—it was Ludo!
Moriarty and the others were curious as to why he wasn't wearing a formal suit, but instead a simple tracksuit. Was it because our Hogwarts Dream Team wasn't worthy of him?
However, they heard Ludo's enthusiastic voice: "Wow, wow~ Look what I'm wearing? Minerva? Severus? You must recognize it!"
Ludo grabbed the hem of his tracksuit, stretched it out to reveal the front of the shirt, showing a hornet logo.
Professor Snape glanced at the wasp logo with disgust, then quickly looked away as if he had seen something nauseating.
Professor McGonagall looked at it carefully for a while, then gave a polite smile: "It's the Wimbledon Hornets' jersey."
"Yes, that's right! I knew you'd recognize them," Ludo smiled smugly. "The Hornets were a top team back then, the witches' favorite—that was the team I played for!"
Professor McGonagall offered a polite compliment, which made Ludo even more smug. She actually wanted to say that her favorite team was the Tathill Tornadoes. The Hornets had been defeated by the Tornadoes in the past, which was why she remembered the name.
However, seeing Ludo so excited like a child, jumping around like a big cartoon character, Professor McGonagall decided to keep quiet.
"Roman? Roman!" Ludo turned and shouted at the carriage, "What are you doing? We've arrived at Hogwarts! Get off! Are you sleeping?"
Roman did not respond; it was as if the carriage had suddenly become empty.
The young wizards stirred, especially the boys, who craned their necks and jumped up and down on tiptoe, trying to get a better look at the national team players through the carriage.
"Have they come out yet?"
"Not yet, let's hurry and find it!"
Several Gryffindors were frantically rummaging through their pockets—
"Oh no! I can't believe it, how come I didn't bring a single quill pen with me?"
"Do you think they'll sign my robe with my girlfriend's lipstick?"
"How absurd!" Lilith said haughtily as she walked past the four Gryffindors fighting over a lipstick and stood gracefully beside Moriarty.
"What do you think they're planning?" Lilith asked Moriarty.
Moriarty was in a good mood and joked, "Planning a prank? Do you think everyone is like the Weasley twins? They're adults."
"I'll go take a look." Ludo smiled at Dumbledore and Moriarty respectively, then turned and walked towards the carriage, muttering, "You want me to come and fetch you? You're supposed to be young people, but you're moving around like old women."
Ludo walked to the front of the carriage, opened the door with a "whoosh," and a large amount of flowers, balloons, and ribbons poured out and flew into the air with a "whoosh."
"surprise!"
Roman jumped down from the carriage, followed by the afro-haired guy, the red-nosed guy... Eleven national team players came out one by one, and the last one to come down was the Magician.
Dressed in a tuxedo, he surveyed the entire room with a bright smile on his face.
Moriarty noticed that his face was wrinkle-free, without a single wrinkle.
"We all know there's a kind of energy in this world, which we often call magic, and I'm going to perform a magic trick for you!"
Sparse applause broke out, and only the players and Ludo were clapping.
The young wizards weren't too keen on it; wasn't it a bit silly to perform magic at Hogwarts?
The magician seemed to treat the scene as his own performance, and he smiled and said, "Hmm... I think I need two assistants. My teammate volunteered to tell me he has some experience in magic tricks. Oh look—he's coming over here."
Red Nose walked up to the magician.
"And the other assistant? Could it be a junior wizard from Hogwarts?" The magician looked over at Moriarty.
"Me! I'll do it!"
The Weasley twins raised their hands in a flash and rushed toward the Magician.
The magician chose George as his assistant, and the show began.
"First, I'd like to interview my teammate: which house were you sorted into when you were at Hogwarts?"
"Ah, I will never forget the scene when the Sorting Hat shouted 'Ravenclaw.' At that moment, I felt a great sense of relief, as if I had completed an important task in my life."
As Red Nose spoke, he looked over at the Ravenclaw students, his gaze meeting Professor Flitwick's. The two smiled at each other simultaneously.
"Very good," the magician nodded. "Then, may I ask which location, or rather which quality, at Ravenclaw School left the deepest impression on you?"
Red Nose smiled wistfully: "If I had a choice, I'd like to spend all my time in the small library in the Ravenclaw common room."
Penelope and the other Ravenclaw students nodded in agreement.
"The most important moment of my life was when I picked up a Quidditch notebook from who-knows-how-many years ago, and then... I embarked on a path I never imagined."
When the topic of Ravenclaw came up, Red Nose kept talking about it, and Magic Johnson had to interrupt him.
"Enough, buddy! Stop! I'm asking you, do you remember that Quidditch notebook you picked up?"
"Of course I remember, it's still fresh in my mind."
"Describe it, describe it." The magician stretched out his hand and made a gesture as if he were taking something out of thin air.
"Oh? What are you going to do? Are you going to take it out? Here—take a notebook from the Ravenclaw mini-library? I don't even know if it's still there!"
Red Nose laughed as if he'd seen a comical clown: "Stop kidding me, there are so many people watching you and me, buddy!"
"You don't believe me? Think back!"
"Oh... let me think, hmm~ blue cover, with a cat's head printed on it, yellow parchment..."
"Yes, yes! That's it, I can touch it!" the magician exclaimed. "The cover is smooth, isn't it?"
"Of course, it's passed through many hands!" Red Nose's eyes widened. "You really found it?"
"Not too difficult." The magician's lips curled up, and he pulled his right hand outward sharply. The young wizards watched expectantly, wanting to see if the magician could succeed.
But the magician pulled a thick book out of thin air.
"Hey! This isn't fun!" The red-nosed magician frowned, raised the book above his head, and turned to face his other assistant.
"George Weasley, I think I've taken the wrong book. Would you mind switching with me?"
The magician asked earnestly.
George was stunned. "What are you talking about? Why did you switch books with me if you took the wrong one? Hey? Wait, wait..."
He suddenly noticed a small notebook in the pocket of his jacket under his school robe.
"My Merlin!"
George took off his school uniform and pulled a notebook from his pocket; the cover was blue!
"This is impossible!" George exclaimed, stunned, holding the blue book in his hand.
The magician walked over with a smile, took the blue notebook from George's hand, and tossed it to Red Nose: "Come on, my good friend, see if this is the Quidditch Bible you've been dreaming of!"
"Oh, right, assistant, return this book to the library in the Ravenclaw common room." The magician shoved the large book into George's hands.
The little wizards found it very magical and all looked at Red Nose, only to see that his eyes were red!
"I've been thinking about this for eight years!" Red Nose held the notebook, completely captivated.
It's actually true!
Retrieving objects remotely?
The young wizards began to discuss it excitedly.
The magician snapped his fingers.
"Ladies and gentlemen of Hogwarts! What you just saw was just a tiny, tiny little gift."
He flashed a flawless smile, and some infatuated girls began to scream for him.
"Now, this is the gift the England national team is giving you – that's the real surprise!"
More than half of our teammates spent their happiest time at Hogwarts, so this time we're coming home.
Dumbledore and the professors smiled and nodded slowly, and the atmosphere became even more enthusiastic. The magician snapped his fingers again, and all the balloons, flowers, and ribbons in the sky burst open, showering down a shower of flowers.
Amidst the shower of flowers, packages were scattered about. The magician and national team players shouted, "Inside are team jerseys, spellbooks, and Quidditch tips all autographed by each of us! We hope you like them! Dear juniors, we wish you all the best!"
