The little wizards, laughing and joking, successfully ate lunch until 2 p.m.
Dumbledore had no choice but to announce the cancellation of the afternoon classes. Before the young wizards could even cheer, the old man added with a smile, "Next week, you'll have to make up for the missed lessons, or I'm not sure if you'll fail your final exams."
The auditorium was filled with groans of despair. Several usually diligent and studious students silently left the dining table and headed towards the library, including the female student leader.
But their actions were quickly discovered, and Leon shouted, "Look, look! While everyone else is slacking off, they're going to study! They're curled up!"
"I'll roll it up! I'll roll it up!" The female student leader glared at Leon and said defiantly, "I'll roll it up until I die!"
"Hahahaha..." A burst of laughter erupted at the Gryffindor table. The little lions, who loved watching the excitement, were completely unaware that the students from the other three houses had become serious.
Tonks bid farewell to Moriarty and returned to the Hufflepuff camp.
"Family, I think I don't need to say more," Tonks said calmly, glancing at the badgers before suddenly declaring, "I don't think the other schools are anything special. We may not have any other strengths, but we have perseverance and diligence that others lack!"
The little badgers responded enthusiastically, telling jokes and laughing as they left.
"Everyone else drinks cold beverages, I drink hot water! I'm healthier than them, I'll live longer than them, and I'll crush them!"
"While my roommates are all asleep, I secretly go and cook, making myself lots of delicious food to eat, which is better for my health, and then I'll take them all in!"
"Then your roommate will say: 'She secretly went to eat, I pretended not to know, let her eat more and get so fat, I quickly went to sleep to prevent the aroma from getting into my nose and suffocating them!'"
"I secretly slept while they ate, and my hair grew even thicker, enough to scare them to death!"
"Hahaha……"
"Even when it comes to cooking, we have to be number one!"
Passing by the choir, Tonks spotted Cedric still playing with the Weasley twins. Pointing at Cedric, Tonks said, "Get him back! Take him home to study!"
A group of tall, burly Hufflepuff boys grabbed Cedric and ran off, startling Soldaya so much that he hurriedly fled back to the Slytherin table.
The Weasley twins chased after him to reason with him and try to rescue their playmate, only to hear the badger cubs say, "We're taking Cedric to school, not kidnapping him!"
"Study?" Fred asked George. "Do you study?"
George laughed, his eyebrows twitching like caterpillars. "Magic? You need to learn it? Isn't it just something you learn by waving your wand?"
Fred nodded seriously: "So..."
"So let's keep playing! Let's get this party started!" George skipped away, with Fred following behind. They seemed to have found a new game.
However, it's clear that they learned some of Hufflepuff's jokes.
As they passed the Slytherin table, they asked, "Thor, are you coming?"
While everyone else is studying, we'll play games, show off our charm, attract the little witch's attention, secretly find partners, and crush them!
Thor shook his head decisively; he preferred adventure with Moriarty to playing with the twins.
He cast an admiring glance at Moriarty: "Sir, would it be possible to embark on an adventure with you sometime?"
"Let's talk about it after you've learned Apparition," Moriarty said calmly. He stood up, intending to go back to his dorm to get some sleep and replenish his energy.
The little snakes followed Moriarty to his feet and discovered that more than half the people in the auditorium were missing.
The badgers have already left, and half of the eagles have also left. The remaining half are either couples cuddling together or little witches gazing longingly at Moriarty.
A group of Gryffindor students followed Charlie, who, inspired by Tonks' words, waved his arms and said, "This year we're extending training time. Each of you had better make sure to train four times a week! We're going to be number one!"
"Yes, Captain!" the little lions shouted with high spirits.
"While the other players train on time, we're secretly doing extra training. From now on, we'll be the Quidditch masters, crushing them all!"
"Hahahahaha!"
Amidst laughter and cheers, the lion cubs ran back to the common room to retrieve their flying brooms.
"Tsk tsk tsk, Quidditch's all rolled up now, how terrifying." Leon said with a hint of sarcasm, but his words no longer contained the hatred of the past, but rather a teasing and anticipation.
"Sir, the other three houses have gotten involved. What should we do?" Jericho turned to Moriarty and suggested, "How about we hold a school event? Or perhaps create a club? With your current reputation, sir, it's entirely possible."
Moriarty thought for a moment and declined: "I don't have extra time to do those things. You know, I'm working with Professor Nicolas Flamel, and we need to develop several alchemical tools this year."
As for the intense competition in schools, well... I actually think it's a healthy form of competition.
"Oh?"
The little snakes pricked up their ears. Moriarty explained, "After the viral magic outbreak, the students saw their own shortcomings, and everyone began to study hard to overcome their weaknesses in personality, psychology, and magic."
Just like the Hufflepuffs led by Tonks, they went to learn cooking skills because they couldn't cook well.
Charlie's Gryffindor team, who weren't good at playing ball, went to practice their skills.
And the Ravenclaw students, if they're not doing well in school, they go to the library.
Lilith chuckled: "So, you mean if you're bad at picking up girls, you should practice?"
She gestured toward the Ravenclaw table, and the snake followed her gaze to a fourth-year Ravenclaw student who was trying to invite Penelope to the library, but Penelope coldly refused.
"If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have known she had such a cold side." Moriarty chuckled. He had far too many icy beauties around him—Diana, Lilith… Penelope was probably learning from them.
Upon hearing Moriarty's words, Lilith and Gemma exchanged a glance. "Shall we go to the library this afternoon to copy down potion recipes?"
"Great!" Gemma readily agreed. "Next week, Professor S will definitely be talking about the shrinking potion. I want to preview it in advance."
The two girls walked hand in hand toward Fangfang in the library. Gemma whispered in a voice only she and Lilith could hear, "Only a silly girl would think that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach."
Lilith smiled slightly: "Only by being independent can you attract the attention of your sweetheart!"
The two girls looked at each other and smiled.
Many girls seem to have suddenly realized something, and they have started to think about how to improve themselves.
She tells her girlfriends that she's not looking for a boyfriend, but secretly she's working on herself to attract men!
Let them grow old alone, let them die of loneliness!
Gradually, fewer and fewer students followed Moriarty, not because they no longer loved him.
Instead, everyone wants to improve their strength so they can help Moriarty in the next adventure—provided there are more adventures to come.
Dumbledore had observed everything and had a general idea of what the students were thinking. He shook his head and chuckled at Nicolas Flamel and Professor McGonagall beside him, "These young boys and girls are probably hoping for some strange and wonderful things to happen at Hogwarts!"
"So, Dracula did a good deed," Professor McGonagall said, both amused and exasperated.
"Dracula is a thing of the past, and I have to thank him for not making things difficult for us two old people," Nicolas Flamel said with emotion. "As for the adventures of young boys and girls—there is very little we can do; let time be the judge of the rest."
The professors nodded in agreement, their gentle gazes falling on the students scattered throughout the auditorium, lost in thought.
"Keith!" Snape suddenly noticed his student flirting with a Ravenclaw female student.
"What were you doing while others were studying?" A hint of displeasure flashed in Professor Si's eyes.
"If you're so stupid as to not have anything else to do, go to my office right now and wash my black wizard's robes, which your grandfather soaked with his tears and snot!"
In the days before Dracula took control of the castle, Keith's grandfather came to Hogwarts and repeatedly begged Snape to forgive Keith.
Keith now knows this, but he's not embarrassed.
He jumped up and shouted playfully, "My classmates are all burying their heads in their studies. I'll pretend to have a falling out with the professor, then go and do his laundry! That way I won't fail my final exams and will crush them!"
