The mastermind behind Hogwarts

Chapter 133 Moriarty's Training

Chapter 133 Moriarty's Training

"Mrs. Malfoy—"

Moriarty's voice rang out, pulling Lilith back to reality. Was Moriarty about to begin the next round of discipline?

Lilith watched with great interest as Moriarty pulled the staff from Narcissa's hand, placed it on her forehead, and gently stroked it, parting the two strands of golden hair on her forehead.

"You said that the Malfoy family would give anything, everything, anything, as long as I protect you and your son! Is that right?"

Moriarty repeated Narcissa's promise, each word striking Narcissa's heart like a hammer blow.

"Yes," she looked up, "yes, Mr. Moriarty. I'll do anything as long as you protect the Malfoy family! I'll do anything you ask."

Narcissa repeated her previous pleas, but now she seemed more rational and stopped crying.

"You? What can you do for me?" Moriarty retorted, a playful smile on his face. He reached out his other hand and stroked Narcissa's face.

It was dazzlingly white, smooth, and warm to the touch. Moriarty gently squeezed it; the feel was exquisite.

Lilith stared wide-eyed at Moriarty in disbelief, a voice screaming in her mind, "Moriarty, stop!!!"

Could it be that he...?

Lilith clenched her fists.

Equally incredulous was Narcissa, who shuddered violently upon feeling the warmth of Moriarty's fingertips, her eyes widening as she stared at him.

Moriarty was quite certain he saw horror and anger in it, while at the same time Narcissa's hand swiftly pressed against her wand beneath her robes.

In the end, all of it turned into struggle. The emotions in her eyes disappeared, leaving her as still as a stagnant pool. Narcissa lowered her head resignedly.

Upon seeing this, Moriarty withdrew his hand, leaving a lingering fragrance on his fingertips.

"Hand over the wand," he commanded.

Narcissa pulled out her wand and threw it on the ground; the whole process was lifeless.

"The wand flies here."

Moriarty took Narcissa's wand and examined it in his palm.

"A black walnut wand, twelve inches long, with a silver and black gold handle at the end—exquisite, luxurious, and beautiful."

Moriarty waved his wand in front of Narcissa. "I think it would be most suitable to use it to avenge your husband. I wonder how powerful it is? What do you think, Mrs. Malfoy?"

A glimmer of hope appeared in Narcissa's eyes. "You want to avenge Lucius?"

"Otherwise, do you think you could mobilize us to protect you with just a roar?" Moriarty said casually, toying with his wand. "No need to thank me; avenging Lucius is equivalent to vindicating the pure-blooded British."

Narcissa suddenly exclaimed, "You planned all of this? You want to be the third Dark Lord?"

"Foolish idea, Mrs. Malfoy. Don't look at me like I'm a pervert." Moriarty shoved Narcissa's blond head down with his wand. "Have you considered your question? Besides the pleasure of beauty, what can you offer me? Oh, you have a son. Perhaps I should ask what your son can do for me?"

"You're not allowed to lay a finger on my son!"

Narcissa suddenly realized that Moriarty's target had never been her, but Draco.

Like an enraged lioness, she jumped up from the carpet, instinctively putting her hands under her robes, only to remember that the wand was already in Moriarty's hands. She could only point her finger at Moriarty menacingly.

The whole process took less than two seconds, and Lilith saw it all clearly. Was the woman in front of her really the same person as the poor little girl who had just knelt down?

Moriarty's smile grew even brighter. Narcissa didn't care about being humiliated, but she was enraged because he mentioned Draco. The key to controlling Narcissa had been found.

Narcissa stared at Moriarty, her shoulders trembling slightly, as if she had seen something utterly terrifying.

"What exactly are you making Draco do?"

"He will know, believe me. It's all too early. Sooner or later he will take your wand and walk the path I have laid out for him."

Moriarty suppressed all his emotions and spoke earnestly to Narcissa.

He has Lockhart, a star among wizards, and Flint, a pure-blood representative, but he lacks a representative of commoner wizards.

Dumbledore placed his bets on the famous savior.

Moriarty never chose Harry; he only promised Dumbledore that he would mentor Harry after Harry enrolled.

Now, Moriarty has a brand new choice: Draco Malfoy.

Moriarty didn't care whether Narcissa agreed or not; Narcissa had no power to resist.

Narcissa clearly realized this; with just one meeting, her fate and that of her son were like the roots of a dandelion, swaying in the wind.

Just then, she heard Moriarty say, "Mrs. Malfoy, the first thing I need you to do for me is to get the exact address of the Marquess of Judean Castle from your house-elf Dobby."

Narcissa glanced sadly at Moriarty. Although things were somewhat disappointing, at least she had Moriarty's protection. She hoped that after the storm, there would be a rainbow.

"At your service, sir." Narcissa sighed, then adopted the airs of a mistress and called out, "Dobby? Dobby! Come out here!"

An ugly house-elf sprang out of thin air with a loud "smack," startling Narcissa. "You always do this! Punishing yourself!"

Dobby banged his head against the wall repeatedly.

Moriarty watched with great interest, clapping his hands and saying, "It is said that every Black has a special skill in punishing house-elves."

Narcissa forced a smile: "I'll take your politeness as a compliment."

Moriarty shook his head and smiled, not taking it to heart, and urged, "Ask quickly."

Seeing the smiles on Moriarty and Narcissa's faces annoyed Lilith to no end—regardless of whether they were sincere or not, they were just smiling!

Lilith felt a little better after turning her attention to Dobby, who had hurt her.

Narcissa ordered Dobby to stop and speak properly. Dobby glared at Narcissa resentfully but had no choice but to obey his mistress's orders.

It recalled a night two days earlier, stammering, "The host asked me to pour coffee for the guests, and I heard them say that the Château d'If is located on the Île d'If in Marseille, France, and that there is a castle on the island, the Château d'If."

“Château d’If?” Lilith exclaimed. “That’s a Muggle tourist attraction! Nobody knows a vampire marquis lives there.”

Narcissa, looking utterly lost, gripped the armrest of the sofa, one hand covering her mouth, and began to sob softly.

Lilith now felt some sympathy for Narcissa. She looked at Moriarty and asked, "Is it time to act?"

Moriarty nodded: "Since it's still early, we might be able to make it to dinner after we arrive in Marseille."

"Alright," a serious look flashed across Lilith's face, "You can rest assured that you can leave this place to me. With me here, the wizards outside won't dare to cause trouble."

"Be careful to protect yourself." Moriarty made no attempt to hide the presence of Lady Malfoy. "I'll leave the young prince with you; evacuate quickly if anything goes wrong."

"Do you look down on me?"

Lilith wrinkled her nose, her tone indifferent.

Feeling Moriarty's care, I felt a sweet and happy feeling in my heart.

But she acted superior, saying, "A bunch of unreasonable, foolish foreign wizards, can defeat me, who is well-versed in the law? Mr. Moriarty, you're too funny! Leave your little prince to the orphan and widow."

Moriarty caught the hidden meaning in the girl's words, as well as the subtle emotions mixed in, and calmly met Lilith's gaze.

Lilith guiltily looked away, raised her head, and took light steps, as if wearing the most gorgeous dress, gracefully walking towards the door, completely devoid of the smug smile she had when she laughed at Narcissa earlier.

As she passed Moriarty, she said, "Let's go, let's split up."

"Let's split up," Moriarty nodded readily, walking alongside her. "Good luck."

Lilith's lips barely moved. "I only wish for your safe return."
