The mastermind behind Hogwarts

Chapter 100 Dragon Soup and Hibiscus Arrive

Moriarty led Lilith and Jericho out of the headmaster's office and headed towards the Hufflepuff Canteen.

Lilith was still somewhat worried: "Are you alright? The armor said your mind was drained, and I don't think it was lying."

Lilith was right; the armor wasn't lying about that. Moriarty's mind had indeed been drained; for a moment, his brain went blank, and he couldn't even think.

But the system saved Moriarty.

"Congratulations, host, you have successfully checked in and have obtained 1 unit of mental energy from the former principal, Armando Dippert."

Note: The principal's office is a repeatable check-in location; the host can check in once per day.

With this boost to his mental energy, Moriarty recovered from the two-hour daze and now felt better than ever before.

However, he couldn't tell Lilith the reason, so he changed the subject to the armor: "What do you think about the school motto mentioned at the end?"

"Don't disturb the sleeping dragon!" Lilith said casually. "Moriarty, are you really okay? Will there be any aftereffects? I hate to say this, but you need to take it seriously."

Seeing that she was determined to get to the bottom of things, Moriarty answered the question about regaining her senses by avoiding the main point, and Lilith was temporarily calmed down.

The three arrived at Hufflepuff Dining Hall. Hearing that Moriarty wanted to eat dragon meat, the Hogwarts house-elves surrounded him, their eyes shining brightly. "The castle hasn't made dragon soup for almost a thousand years," they said excitedly. "But rest assured, our culinary skills have been passed down through generations, and we guarantee you won't be disappointed, young master! But there's a problem: where is the dragon meat?"

"Dragon meat is in Hogsmeade; there's a fresh, live Norwegian Ridgeback there," Moriarty gestured for the house-elves to go find it, then asked the lead elf, "Has the castle ever made dragon soup?"

"Yes, young master," the house-elf replied. "The legend is that the year Bloodman Barrow graduated, many black dragons suddenly appeared in the Forbidden Forest. The four headmasters went to the Forbidden Forest to hunt down several black dragons and ordered my great-great-great-great-grandfather to make dragon soup—and many other dragon meat dishes, but all I know how to make is dragon soup."

"Such a big thing wasn't written into 'Hogwarts, A Chapter in School History'?" Lilith's eyes widened. She was busy swallowing a hot dog and needed to fill her stomach before eating the dragon soup.

"This is the first time I've heard of this either." Moriarty showed an interested expression, and then he asked several house-elves, and the answers he received were varied, as if there were many different versions of the Dragon Soup Dinner.

But regardless of the version, the keywords "Black Dragon", "Graduation", and "Forbidden Forest" are always present.

"I suddenly realize I'm in a fake Hogwarts," Jericho's stomach rumbled, but he had no appetite whatsoever. "Disturbing alchemy, a headless horseman who seems gay, a dragon soup dinner whose existence can't be proven? What's wrong with this year's Hogwarts?"

"Remember the school motto the Headless Horseman mentioned?" Moriarty looked at Lilith and Jericho, lowering his voice, "Don't disturb the sleeping dragon! Isn't that right? There must be some connection between the Dragon Soup Banquet and 'Don't disturb the sleeping dragon'!"

"Merlin!" Lilith sighed. "Moriarty, we can't keep up with your train of thought! Just an hour ago you were agonizing over alchemy, and now you've only exchanged a few words with a portrait, and you've already jumped to the school motto!"

"If you ask me, that's the charm of the gentleman!" Jericho finally smiled. "Following him, I'm always on an adventure!"

"Well, your way of thinking is just as unconventional." Lilith sighed and smiled wryly, rubbing her forehead. Boys' ideas are always different from girls'. If this continues, they'll fall behind Moriarty, and that's the important thing!

Perhaps she only has common ground with Tonks and Gemma?

But they were still fast asleep. Lilith yawned, and Jericho, as if infected, yawned too: "Sir, aren't you sleepy?"

"I'm not sleepy," Moriarty shook his head slightly. "The house-elves will be back soon; they won't be long before they arrive in Hogsmeade."

House-elves have their own magic; even Hogwarts can Apparate. Soon, they carried pieces of dragon meat into the kitchen!

"Wow, ants moving house?" Jericho, no longer sleepy, blinked as he watched. "Looks like the Dragon Soup will be ready soon! Give me my seasoning jar, I want a little bit of everything—sweet, sour, bitter, spicy, and salty!"

Moriarty and Lilith exchanged a glance, and Lilith laughed, "Cowboy, wipe your mouth, you're drooling."

The three of them waited for the dragon soup to be ready, but an explosive rumor began to circulate in Hogsmeade!

Moriarty, one of the two parties involved in the bet, walked out of the Slytherin common room! He specifically requested dragon meat!

The news quickly became "Moriarty appears to have found a way to win the bet!"

The story eventually became more and more outrageous, evolving into "Moriarty wanted to kill all the dragons in Britain simply because their existence hindered his thinking!"

Obviously, it was a joke, but there is no doubt that many wizards saw the Hogsmeade sky at five in the morning because Moriarty wanted to eat dragon meat.

In the Forbidden Forest, the horsemen looked up at the starry sky, and Ferenc drew his bow and shot an arrow at the brightest star.

"The morning star shines, metaphorically representing both death and resurrection!"

Ferenze's hooves pounded the ground restlessly. This time, the astrological signs were too obvious. There was no need to burn sage and mallow anymore; he had already made his judgment.

At six o'clock, Moriarty and his two companions had a hearty meal and walked out of the dining hall. As they passed through the Great Hall, they found that Dumbledore and the two ministers had returned, accompanied by a group of wizards.

The Hogwarts Board of Governors and professors, Ministry of Magic officials, journalists, all sorts of old wizards and masters, and Mrs. Maxim, the headmistress of Beauxbatons.

Behind the tall woman were several pretty little witches, including Fleur Delacour, who had met Moriarty once before.

All the young Hogwarts wizards stared intently at Fleur, at her translucent silver hair and her snow-white skin. She was so captivating that nine out of ten boys would be instantly mesmerized by her.

The last one was Moriarty, so Fleur walked up to Moriarty with a smile and said, "We meet again, Mr. Moriarty."

She went straight past Lilith and Jericho to greet Moriarty, as if they didn't exist.

This drew Lilith's displeasure. "Again?"

“Yes, once again.” Fleur raised an eyebrow, then giggled twice, instantly captivating most of the male wizards. Jericho stared at Fleur in fascination, but she ignored him, her gaze shifting between Lilith and Moriarty. Finally, she winked at Moriarty and said, “Remember what I told you about the Veil’s intuition? Even though Mrs. Maxim and I came to support Professor Nicolas Flamel, the Veil’s intuition tells me you’ll win the bet!”

A low gasp rippled through the crowd, clearly the voice of an adult wizard. The young wizards were startled awake, only then realizing that Fleur was a succubus!

Many of the young wizards' girlfriends had livid faces, seemingly wanting to settle scores with their boyfriends.

Jericho jerked his neck, exclaiming in surprise to Fleur, "Your Seleuther's magic is outrageous! You actually managed to bewitch me!"

Lilith glared at him angrily, "How dare you say that!"

Fleur's smile deepened as she looked at Moriarty: "After that incident, I awakened the unique magic of the Veela, but it doesn't seem to work on you?"

"To be honest, I don't know more about the Meva than most people do," Moriarty glanced at Fleur, then at the smiling Dumbledore and the others, his tone becoming lighter, "but you're right about one thing: your intuition is spot on. I won this bet."
