Lord: My troops can evolve indefinitely.

The skeletal knights, who launched another charge, were noticeably slower, and knights would occasionally slip and fall on the ice, affecting the cavalry behind them.

However, no matter what, they still managed to reach the foot of the city wall.

The next moment, the bone spears in the hands of the skeletal knights were enveloped in a layer of black smoke.

Then, all the skeletal knights suddenly thrust forward with all their might, slamming heavily into the protective shield in front of the city wall.

"Buzz!! Snap!"

The immense impact caused the protective shield to shake violently, emitting mournful cries.

Finally, under the horrified gazes of the Blackrock Territory defenders, the protective shield finally gave way and shattered.

"Neigh~~"

The leader of the skeleton knights' eyes blazed with intense soul fire. He swung his lance and once again commanded all the skeleton knights to launch an attack.

The defenders on the city wall were demoralized and somewhat at a loss because their protective shield had been shattered.

Seeing that the skeleton knight was about to launch another attack, he felt a sense of despair.

Fortunately, the commander on the city wall remained clear-headed: "Stay alert! Hold on for your lives if you don't want to die! The undead don't take prisoners!"

"Alchemy cannons, prepare! Focus fire on the Skeleton Knight!"

Just after the commander gave the order, another violent roar came, and the ice wall that had been covering the city wall was shattered once again.

Fortunately, this time the skeleton knight attacked from the spot without charging and charging, so the momentum was not as great as it was at the beginning.

After the Skeleton Knights finished their attack, the counterattack from Blackrock Territory arrived.

Dozens of the latest alchemical giant cannons purchased from the Ochis Commercial Federation roared in succession, their trails of flames arcing across the sky before crashing viciously into the skeletal knights.

Next, flames erupted, and dirt and bones flew everywhere.

After the smoke cleared, the once imposing skeleton knights were reduced to ashes in a single volley of fire.

"oh oh!"

"Blackrock Territory is invincible!"

Seeing this, the morale of the soldiers guarding the city wall soared, and they shouted various slogans to boost their spirits and courage.

Seeing this, Luo Xuan also breathed a sigh of relief. He had been really worried that Blackstone Territory would be attacked and taken down in one fell swoop.

However, although the skeleton knights were destroyed, they did not serve no purpose.

At least the protective shields and ice walls that had previously stood in front of all the undead were shattered by them.

After the alchemical cannon bombardment ended, the undead forces paid no attention to the life or death of the skeleton knights, and the ghouls launched another attack like a tidal wave.

Previously, due to the deaths of a large number of low-level undead units, a large number of corpses had already piled up outside the city walls.

As the pile of bones grew higher and higher, it formed a gentle slope.

If the skeleton knights had not been eliminated, they could have launched a charge directly down the gentle slope.

However, after the alchemical cannons bombarded the area, the undead corpses that had been piled up on a gentle slope were scattered in all directions, effectively eliminating the hidden dangers outside the city walls.

"Hold on!" The commander of Blackrock Territory shouted from the city wall.

"The protective shield will restart soon, and the ice wall will be re-established quickly. Everyone, stay put and don't retreat an inch! Buy time for the rear!"

"Fight to the death! Fight to the death!" The soldiers pounded their weapons on the city wall, shouting slogans as they drove back the ghouls that were climbing up the wall.

Compared to slow-moving skeletons and rotting corpses, ghouls' speed allows them to quickly attack vulnerable points.

However, the defenders of Blackrock Territory fought valiantly under the leadership of their commander and tenaciously held onto the city walls.

Even if a few elite ghouls occasionally manage to breach the city walls, they are quickly forced back by the human defenders.

However, Luo Xuan, who was watching from a distance, frowned deeply.

Although the previous attacks of the skeleton knights were thwarted by the alchemical cannon.

However, so much time has passed, and Luo Xuan has not received a second bombardment.

Luo Xuan quickly realized that the alchemical cannon's attack must have strict requirements.

It either requires a long cooling time or a long loading time.

In short, it can only be used as a trump card, not as a regular attack method.

The protective shield of the Magic Absorbing Tower has yet to be re-deployed.

The mages' ice walls did rise again, but they soon shattered and collapsed in the face of the necromancers' attacks.

The two mages are basically in a state of exchanging blows, neither able to gain the upper hand.

However, the undead forces have already begun attempting to scale the city walls.

The situation is very bad for Blackstone Ridge.

The commander understood this as well, which is why he frequently turned to look at the lord of Blackrock Territory—a middle-aged man in his forties or fifties.

Seeing this, Lord Blackrock frowned slightly. According to the previous agreement, the garrison of Falling Moon Canyon should have arrived by now.

However, there's nothing we can do now but try our best to hold on.

After giving the commander a hand signal, the Blackrock Lord donned his gear and personally climbed the city walls to fight.

The lord's leading by example greatly boosted the morale of the defending troops.

However, this is not a long-term solution; if it goes on for too long, morale will drop again.

The battlefield remained deadlocked for several tens of minutes.

However, as time went on, the undead climbed the city walls more and more frequently, making it increasingly difficult for the defenders to drive them away.

At this critical moment, Luo Xuan noticed shadowy figures in the woods not far from the west.

Before Luo Xuan could take a closer look, a shout rang out and a human force charged out from the side, heading straight for the undead army.

At this time, the undead army had already surrounded Blackrock Territory.

Therefore, under the troop deployment of the undead commander, a large number of low-level melee undead, such as skeletons, rotting corpses, and ghouls, were positioned at the front of the battlefield.

Ranged units such as skeleton archers and necromancers were positioned at the rear of the main army.

Originally, there was no problem with this arrangement.

However, this human force that suddenly charged out was clearly prepared.

They charged directly at the junction of the undead army's front and rear lines, effectively separating the two groups.

"Reinforcements have arrived!"

Upon seeing this, the commander on the city wall immediately shouted.

Luo Xuan was also paying attention to this suddenly appearing human army, whose leader was Zhou Fa, whom he had dealt with before.

"Shieldbearers, form ranks and hold your ground!" Zhou Fa shouted, then turned to the other side, "The rest of you, charge!"

In fact, Zhou Fa and his troops had arrived long ago. The reason they hadn't come out before was because he had been searching for the commander hidden among the undead army.
