Lord: My troops can evolve indefinitely.

The sounds were more concentrated than before, meaning that more skeletons were appearing in the gray fog.

Luo Xuan made a quick decision, walked out of the cave, and then returned to the path he had come from.

Previously, due to the unclear situation, Luo Xuan did not dare to act rashly.

Having gained a general understanding of the situation, Luo Xuan no longer hesitated and quickly left the cave.

If the number of skeleton soldiers increases, Luo Xuan will have nowhere to run and will be surrounded and killed in the cave by sheer numbers.

After returning to the path he had come from, Luo Xuan looked again at the gray fog ahead.

A series of clicking sounds, accompanied by faint footsteps, slowly approached. Then, several skeletons dressed similarly to the previous blue skeletons appeared in front of Luo Xuan.

However, the tattered equipment they wore was different.

Some were wearing chainmail with several large holes, while others were carrying short swords that had been corroded.

Some were even missing an arm, and even after being resurrected as undead, they still retained the state of being missing an arm.

Luo Xuan glanced at them and discovered that all of these skeleton soldiers were of blue quality.

This situation, which was far beyond the norm, made Luo Xuan frown slightly, and he dared not be careless.

"Lilith, be careful."

Luo Xuan led the gray wolves back, leaving Lilith to face the enemy alone.

Facing seven or eight blue-quality skeletons, Lilith was not afraid. Spider silk and venom flew as she launched the first attack.

Three spider webs flew out first, enveloping the three skeleton soldiers.

Lilith then summoned two more venomous spiders, which charged into the horde of skeletons.

That wasn't all. Lilith condensed a large amount of venom, forming a compressed venom sphere, and then attacked the horde of skeletons.

However, Luo Xuan's response to the skeleton horde was somewhat beyond his expectations.

One of the skeleton soldiers, carrying a tattered shield, instinctively stepped forward and raised the shield to try and block the attack.

However, it was a bit slow and its shield was too weak. Before it could even get into a defensive stance, Lilith's little spiders and venom bombs had already arrived.

However, what attracted Luo Xuan's attention was not these skeleton soldiers, but the three skeleton soldiers that had been caught in the net earlier.

Like the first skeleton soldier wielding an axe, these three skeleton soldiers also tried to break through the spider web with their own weapons.

In addition, there was an unbound skeleton soldier left on the side, also helping them break through the spider web.

This greatly surprised Luo Xuan.

In his mind, skeletons, the lowest-level undead units, should not have much intelligence, let alone wild monsters encountered in the wild.

"It seems there really is something different affecting them around here."

Luo Xuan carefully scanned the skeleton soldiers again. The only difference was that almost every one of these skeleton soldiers was equipped, making them look much more advanced than the skeleton soldiers who were treated like cattle in Luo Xuan's territory.

Although the skeleton soldiers in Luo Xuan's territory also have weapons, they are just weapons made from bones they randomly picked up or bones they took from their own bodies.

These weapons are fundamentally different from the axes, longswords, and other weapons wielded by the blue-quality skeletons in front of them.

Not to mention that they all had protective gear, although it was tattered and completely ineffective.

Considering the two dwarf ruins discovered before and after, Luo Xuan had reason to suspect that these skeleton soldiers were powerful dwarf warriors in life.

However, now affected by the undead calamity, they have become one of the undead.

Seeing the scene before him, Luo Xuan could understand why all the major powers on the continent of Aetheran hated the undead.

Imagine you are a soldier fighting on the battlefield, and suddenly a skeleton resurrected from the remains of your father who died in battle appears on the other side.

Such a capacity to blaspheme the dead is something no one could accept.

Luo Xuan pulled his wandering thoughts back and continued to look at the battlefield before him.

Although Lilith was fighting against multiple opponents, she was still holding her own. With each rise and fall of her sharp and ferocious spider legs, one could see white bones or already tattered equipment flying everywhere.

Before long, all seven or eight blue-quality skeletons in front of them were dealt with.

Luo Xuan stood there for a while, worried that more skeletons would emerge after the gray fog.

This was the shadow left on him by the bushes in the wilderness back then. Now, Luo Xuan was somewhat like someone who had been bitten by a snake once and was afraid of a rope for ten years.

Although he was a little timid, Luo Xuan did not turn around and leave immediately.

After waiting for a while and confirming that no more skeletons appeared, Luo Xuan, along with Lilith and the gray wolf, chose to continue deeper into the area.

Thanks to Lilith's little spiders and the gray wolf's sense of smell, they were always able to spot the enemy in advance and prepare to fight them.

As he walked and stopped, Luo Xuan didn't know how far he had gone when the gray mist in front of him suddenly dissipated.

Luo Xuan was still in the mountains, but he was already at the foot of the mountains. He could leave the mountains by walking a short distance forward.

However, Luo Xuan did not do that.

Because on a small plain in front of Luo Xuan, there was a large number of undead troops besieging a territory in the distance.

Luo Xuan originally thought it was Luoyue Territory because it was closest to his territory.

When Luo Xuan climbed to a high place and looked into the distance, he discovered that the territory in front of him was actually Black Stone Territory.

Luo Xuan had also learned some information about Blackstone Territory. Compared to Falling Moon Territory, which was a titled territory, Blackstone Territory was a private territory.

It is said to be a fiefdom established by a high-ranking nobleman of the Tianyu Empire for his direct descendants.

"It seems I have bypassed the eastern forest and arrived in the territory of Blackrock Territory."

Luo Xuan watched the densely packed undead army attacking Blackrock Territory in the distance and murmured to himself.

Due to geographical factors, coupled with the early elimination of undead strongholds near his territory, Luo Xuan did not feel the crisis and urgency brought about by the undead calamity.

At this moment, looking at the distant battlefield filled with the roar of cannons and shouts, Luo Xuan finally began to understand a little.

From Luo Xuan's perspective, the Black Stone Territory in the distance was a very powerful territory.

The sturdy, towering city walls were covered with all sorts of defensive weapons.

For example, crossbows, catapults, and alchemical cannons.

In addition, Luo Xuan even saw a magic-absorbing tower in the center of the territory, which could continuously draw magic power from the battlefield to generate a protective shield that covered the entire Blackstone Territory.

Looking at the Demon-Absorbing Tower that shimmered with mysterious light, Luo Xuan's eyes burned with desire; he wanted it too.

However, the Demon Absorption Tower is not something he can possess at this time. Not to mention the blueprints, the resources required for its construction are far beyond what Luo Xuan can afford now.
