Lord: My troops can evolve indefinitely.

"Great, everyone seems very confident." Jiang Chen nodded in satisfaction.

"The reason I called you all here today is not only to inform you of this matter, but also to tell you that I have registered you all for the provincial selection and assessment. You will represent Suzhou in the next selection."

"Director Jiang, is it just the few of us?"

After Jiang Chen finished speaking, Lin Feng looked at the others and asked a question.

It's not that he thinks the people in the meeting room are unqualified.

On the contrary, Lin Feng believed that the people in the conference room, including himself, were absolutely qualified.

Even Zhang Lifeng, who was the last to enter and whom he didn't know very well, was no ordinary person since he was able to follow Jiang Chen and Zhao Wenjie in.

It can be said that this small conference room already includes a small portion of the top low-level lords under the jurisdiction of the Two Elements Division of Suzhou.

This is precisely what puzzled Lin Feng: are only a few low-level newcomers going to the selection? What about the more powerful lords of the third, fourth, and fifth tiers?

In response to Lin Feng's question, Zhao Wenjie explained, "I'll answer that question."

"After consultation with higher authorities and various countries, the delegation for this exchange has been determined to consist of low-ranking lords and new lords from the first to third tiers."

"Our Suzhou Liangyi Division originally had an excellent third-tier lord like Ye Cheng, but unfortunately he was killed in the last mission."

At this point, Zhao Wenjie's tone became somewhat somber, after all, Ye Cheng had been summoned by him to carry out the mission.

Zhao Wenjie still feels guilty to this day.

"Then aren't we afraid that a third-tier lord will participate in the assessment?" Luo Xuan asked.

Currently in the conference room, Luo Xuan, Lin Feng, and Shen Ce undoubtedly represent the first-tier lords.

Lin Mufeng, Ding Qisong, and Zhang Lifeng represent the second-tier lords.

This leaves the third-tier lord position vacant.

According to Luo Xuan's thinking, they should at least send someone to try, instead of giving up directly.

"Better to have none than something of poor quality," Jiang Chen said succinctly and forcefully.

Upon hearing this, Luo Xuan was taken aback, suddenly realizing that it was the same approach he had taken in training his troops, and then said no more.

"Alright, any more questions?" Jiang Chen asked.

"In that case, I'll take my leave first. The rest of the time will be handed over to Zhao Wenjie, who will explain the important points about the assessment in detail."

After saying that, Jiang Chen got up and left the meeting room.

After Jiang Chen left, everyone relaxed naturally and leaned back in their chairs.

"Don't mind him. Although Director Jiang seems a bit serious and difficult to get along with, he is actually a very good person."

Zhao Wenjie said with a smile.

Everyone chats frequently in the group, and there's no obvious sense of distance between them and Zhao Wenjie.

The newcomer, Zhang Lifeng, was also quite young, and he quickly became friends with everyone, making the atmosphere in the meeting room lively and chattering.

"Alright, alright, let's stop for a moment. I'm going to tell you about the assessment criteria for this provincial assessment. Please listen carefully."

After chatting with everyone briefly, Zhao Wenjie waved his hand, signaling for everyone to be quiet.

"The higher-ups attach great importance to this assessment, and its scale is much larger than the trial you participated in last time."

Zhao Wenjie said with a serious expression, "This selection will comprehensively test your in-game strength, including actual combat, territory construction and operation development, handling of emergencies, and factional diplomacy, among other aspects."

At this point, Zhao Wenjie paused for a moment, his tone becoming increasingly solemn:

"This selection process is of great significance. Those chosen will represent Great Xia in international exchanges, representing not only yourselves but also the honor of your city and country. We hope you will give it your all, demonstrate your best abilities, successfully pass the assessment, and bring glory to our nation!"

Looking at Zhao Wenjie, who was speaking with such seriousness and conviction, Luo Xuan vaguely recalled a similar memory.

"Students, the college entrance examination is of great significance, as it concerns your future. I hope you will give it your all, demonstrate your best abilities, and successfully pass the exam, bringing honor to yourselves, your families, and your school!"

Luo Xuan pictured a blurry figure standing on the classroom podium, saying something similar.

As for the result, let's not talk about it. Anyway, Luo Xuan remembered that his predecessor's college entrance examination results were not ideal.

"The assessment is scheduled to begin in three days, so you have very little time. It would be best if you stayed at the Liangyi Division for training."

Zhao Wenjie continued, "We will open up exclusive training facilities for everyone and develop a special assessment strategy to fully assist you in preparing for the selection."

"Of course, you can raise any needs you may have directly. I will try my best to meet them if possible. If I don't have the authority, you can apply to Director Jiang."

As soon as Zhao Wenjie finished speaking, an uncontrollable murmur of discussion erupted in the conference room as everyone began to talk.

Sitting to Luo Xuan's right, Shen Ce patted Luo Xuan's shoulder and said excitedly, "I never expected to have such a good opportunity. I must perform well in this selection."

Luo Xuan nodded and echoed a few words, then a glint of shrewdness flashed in his eyes.

Originally, his energy was mainly focused on ocean strategy and dealing with the remnants of the Sea Spirits, but this provincial selection and subsequent international exchanges are obviously a bigger opportunity.

Once selected, one can not only receive national-level support, but also access a lot of information that is usually difficult to obtain, and even provide more possibilities for one's maritime strategy and territory development.

However, given the numerous benefits, Luo Xuan was well aware that this assessment was destined to be extremely brutal.

Moreover, even if you pass the provincial-level assessment, there will likely be another national-level selection process.

To stand out in the upcoming assessment, you must go all out.

Luo Xuan thought to himself that it seemed it was time to use the points he hadn't originally planned to use.

"Alright, that's enough for the meeting. I'll take you to your rooms to rest. Don't worry about clothes or anything. Just tell me your sizes and I'll prepare some for you."

Zhao Wenjie led Luo Xuan and the others out of the conference room and towards the rest area.

The rest area is the internal name of the Ryougi-sabi, which consists of five simply decorated buildings and serves as the hotel and guesthouse within the Ryougi-sabi.

Zhao Wenjie led Luo Xuan and the others into one of the buildings and handed them the room keys.

"The rooms are ready, one room per person. Get some rest tonight, and training will officially begin tomorrow."

"If you really need to go back to get something, go as soon as possible and come back as soon as possible."
