Lord: My troops can evolve indefinitely.

After Nereia's metamorphosis and evolution, she underwent a complete transformation. In addition to her appearance, her unit type changed from archer to mage.

With all attributes greatly improved, Luo Xuan glanced at them briefly before quickly looking at the series of new skills.

【Azure Vortex】is a super-enhanced version of the 【Tide Vortex】 skill that Luo Xuan had seen in the data before.

The effect is to create a large whirlpool in the water, pulling all enemies within range toward the center of the whirlpool.

There are also hidden attacks within the vortex. During the pulling and suction process, it will also cause water flow cutting damage to all enemies within the range. The closer to the center of the vortex, the stronger the pulling and suction force and the higher the damage.

【Deep Sea Cage】 is a single-target magic control skill that uses water currents to create a cage to trap enemies.

Although it wasn't the [Entrapment] skill that Luo Xuan wanted, the effect was similar.

In addition, both of the original passive abilities have been enhanced. One has improved the stealth ability, and the other will also unleash additional icy power when attacked in melee combat, slowing down the opponent.

In addition to these two passives, Neria also gained a new passive, [Deep Sea Tide Affinity], in this transformation.

The new passive effect is very simple and straightforward, even domineering.

Firstly, when Nereia is in the water, all her attributes, including recovery, defense, and attack, will receive a comprehensive and significant boost.

You will also gain a water shield that can block one enemy skill.

Furthermore, the shield can be refreshed periodically after the skill is broken.

However, these bonuses will be lost once you leave the water area.

"This passive skill is quite powerful; it feels like one passive skill is equivalent to two skills from other unit types."

Luo Xuan looked at Nereia's skill description with some amazement, feeling that it combined numerical values with a complex mechanic.

However, this is certainly a good thing for Luo Xuan. The stronger his troops are, the stronger he, as the lord, will be.

Moreover, Nereia, who evolved to the purple superior quality, only occupies six leadership points, freeing up two points immediately.

Luo Xuan's current leadership value is 34/36, so there won't be any problem even if he returns the coral necklace to Shen Ce.

Luo Xuan currently has three main troop types under his command: the water elemental Azathoth, the demon spider Lilith, and the newly evolved Naga mage Nereia.

These three troop types accounted for 10, 15, and 6 points of Luo Xuan's leadership value, respectively.

In addition to these three types of soldiers, Luo Xuan currently has a gray wolf and two skeleton soldiers under his command.

That's right. After Nereia's previous attack, Luo Xuan's original nine skeleton soldiers were reduced to only two.

However, Luo Xuan is not going to replenish it for the time being, and will keep a few points of leadership value for future use.

Otherwise, if a situation like the one before were to occur again, it would be somewhat awkward to have to borrow equipment from someone else.

Thinking about the leadership value, Luo Xuan felt like a bird whose wings were bound.

"If I had enough leadership points, I could continuously evolve powerful units like Azathoth and Lilith."

Luo Xuan couldn't help but indulge in his fantasies.

As for materials, with enough powerful troops, we can explore more dangerous areas and naturally won't lack materials.

"To break free from these shackles at their root, we still need to find more treasures like the Cold Moon Fruit and Moonlight Coral that can permanently increase the maximum leadership value," Luo Xuan thought to himself.

This made Luo Xuan think of the sea and Azathoth, whom he had sent out to gather information.

"It's been a long time since I last went into the sea. I wonder how the battle between the fish-men and lobster-men is going?"

Luo Xuan looked towards the sea and muttered to himself.

This crucial information will determine Luo Xuan's subsequent plans.

Luo Xuan stood on the city wall, gazing at the boundless sea in the distance.

The sea breeze whipped up salty, fishy vapors, blowing over the walls of Tianxuan Territory and then further eastward into the interior.

Lilith quietly lurked in the shadows beside the lord's hall, the occasional slight trembling of her blades a testament to her constant alertness.

As for Nereia, she has settled in the moat surrounding her territory and is currently inspecting her own land.

As time went by, the unknown situation gave rise to a sense of unease, which slowly spread in Luo Xuan's heart.

Luo Xuan closed his eyes and tried to communicate with Azathoth through the connection in the Lord's Space.

However, the distance seemed too far, and the attempt failed.

Luo Xuan failed to contact Azathoth and still only had a vague understanding of the situation at the bottom of the sea.

However, it seems inappropriate to continue waiting like this.

Thinking of this, Luo Xuan summoned Nereia, who was patrolling the moat, through the connection of the Lord's Space.

Not long after, Nereia's slender, deep blue body emerged from the water, her upper body above the surface, her signature vertical pupils quietly watching Luo Xuan.

Looking at Nereia in front of me, although she is only level one, her combat power is not bad as she has already reached the purple quality.

I believe that after some battles, I will be able to make up for the level gap soon.

Currently, Nerea is the only unit under Luo Xuan's command capable of going to sea to help Azathoth.

"Nerea, go to the shallow waters, not too deep, and patrol the area for me. If you encounter Azathoth, then provide backup for it."

Luo Xuan gave it instructions, because both of them were Luo Xuan's soldiers, and they would naturally understand each other's identities after getting close.

Although Nereia was quite powerful after her transformation, Luo Xuan still dared not send her to the deep sea.

After all, even Azathoth was forced to come ashore before, so Nereia is still too inexperienced to go now.

Upon hearing Luo Xuan's instructions, Nereia lowered her head slightly to indicate that she understood, and then began to meander towards the mudflats.

The moment Nereia left the moat, the shimmering water curtain that had surrounded her body vanished instantly.

Luo Xuan stood on the city wall and watched from afar as the shimmering water fins on Nereia's back swayed slightly before she submerged into the sea under the cover of the current, creating almost no ripples.

Luo Xuan watched Nereia's figure disappear into the sea, and then waited patiently.

Time passed second by second, and the sky gradually darkened. The salty sea breeze continued to blow as usual, but Luo Xuan couldn't help but feel a little anxious.

With Azathoth and Nereia going into the sea one after the other, Luo Xuan couldn't help but feel a little anxious.

About half an hour after Nereia left, two dark figures slowly emerged on the distant sea.
