A Guide to Raising a Little Human [Vampire Clan]

Pet hospital, emergency room.

Alpha was questioned by the police in the hallway.

"Suicide, without making a sound. I was drinking blood at the time and didn't notice anything wrong immediately."

Alpha lowered her eyelashes: "I will continue to adopt them, and I will cover all the expenses myself."

After the police left, Alpha sat down on a bench and covered his eyes wearily.

As soon as the green light for the emergency room came on, Alpha rushed inside.

The little human lay quietly on the hospital bed, his eyes closed, his wrists wrapped in thick bandages. He looked like a lifeless rag doll, pitifully so.

The attending physician removed his mask, his gaze towards Alpha filled with disgust and resentment. He lowered his voice and said, "These young people nowadays, just because their pets don't have vampire rights, they treat them like they're going to kill them, huh? Do you even have a conscience?"

Alpha's gaze fell on the tray, on the disgusting, blood-stained contents, and she paused for a moment.

So, not all of them were taken out?

"It's stuffed so deep, and it even has an electric shock function. It's a complete mess, no cleaning, no medicine applied, just waiting for it to rot away on its own, right?"

The attending physician grew increasingly agitated: "Furthermore, humans can't live on IV drips alone, you know? It's not even for the sake of facilitating sexual activity! He's already severely malnourished."

After the doctor left, Alpha sat down by the little human's bedside, staring blankly at the fever-reducing patch on the little human's forehead.

Even though Crete had already warned him, why did he still harbor wishful thinking that the little human was already alright?

Why would they leave such a small human alone there so unguarded?

This little human was clearly on the verge of collapse, yet he didn't realize it, letting me cut my wrist with such a blunt piece of glass...

It was his fault.

He shouldn't have tried to avoid trouble and police questioning by not bringing his child to the hospital for a checkup...

Alpha sighed again.

He opened his phone and glanced at the post he hadn't had time to delete yet.
